[Q] huawei ideos x5 u8800 camera issue - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

I asked my question on the other post, but I copy link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631636
mayby someone can help me....
thanks....

try some other camera app

I tried another camera app, but still the problem...

Looks like you have a polarizing filler turned on...weird.
I would suggest re installing what ever the latest mod you are using...if that doesn't work them it's a hardware problem

I haven't had this issue. Did you wipe between roms, and does this happen with different roms?

as usual, every time you change the rom always done factory reset, wipe data and cache as well as wipe dalvic also .. but still problem. I experienced this when using version miui december release .. at previous versions when using the CM7 and Oxygen have never experienced this kind of bugs.
that's why make me so confuse.. any idea?
this latest rom almost perfect and run smoothly, but can anyone solve my problem???

After I tried did some experiment, with reflash this rom with CWM recovery ver 4.0.0.5 (before I use 4.0.1.5) then as always do factory reset and wiped all, onto in mobile network setting i reset it too,, now my phone normally work.. so Now I feel great coz' I can access https again

Edit: downloaded again and it is working. Not sure if anything changed. Thanks anyway

Installing U8800+ ICS on U8800

Hey guys!
I just wanted to ask if it is possible to install android 4.0 for huawei ideos x5 Pro on huawei ideos x5?
If it is possible then is it a good idea? Will ideos x5 work properly?
Thanks.

Even though there was a porting, I advise you against installing official ICS, because is still not well written and the ram isn't well managed, on my phone the B926 was laggy because there were only 10MB of free memory. Why you would install U8800+ ICS when you have Aurora?

NO! It WILL brick your phone.

No, as Qqqxxxzzz said it'll brick your phone. Be sure to avoid installing any ROM customized for another phone even for a different model like pro.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I was going to try it but since you guys said no then it's a no.
I have tried installing Aurora and failed multiple times. I need a proper tutorial that has worked for other people. If you guys can lend me a tutorial then I will be more than happy to use it.
The problem I kept encountering, while installing Aurora, is that when I installed Aurora, the phone would boot up and it wouldn't go past the Huawei logo, and then after a while it would restart. It did this in a non-stop loop.
Please lend me a tutorial.
Thanks.

Hey guys. Thanks for the help. I did wipe all that data before but that wasn't the problem.
What I was doing wrong was that I download the Aurora 4.1 update, when I was supposed to get the original Aurora 4.1 first and then install the update on top of that.
If anyone else had this problem then do what I did.
Thanks for all the help guys! :highfive:
There is a port in development section called b927.Have a look.
