Nothing is confirmed or officially announced yet...

Even if the US sgs3 gets the dual core krait there's nothing wrong with that, it spanks the dual core a9 in the sgs2. The new sony phone is apparently getting a quad core krait, nothing will come close to it.

@peachstuff
quadcore krait will take atleast a year to appear in market.

You posted this thread as if it's a bad thing. Dual core A15 will spank a quad core A9 in just about every test.

http://www.technobuffalo.com/companies/samsung/report-u-s-galaxy-s-iii-wont-ship-with-exynos-quad/ it looks like they had to use a dual core because LTE is not compatible with any quadcore atm. And its definatly NOT going to be a a15 maybe in the sIII plus...

Nvidea Is working on a tegra 3 + which would be compatible with lte which is supposed to be out in the summer to carry them until the tegra 4 is released. I can't imagine samsung isn't working on an lte compatiple version.
a bad seed

S4 is better than quad exynos, at least the CPU.

I'll take a Dual-core Snapdragon over the Tegra 3 any day. Sure, the GPU solutions available for S4 are weaker as it is now, but gaming isn't my primary use for a smart phone anyway.

Regardless of what processor the US varient of the sgs3 will have, I'm still going to buy international

Yes.
At four times the price.
Time to consider getting a desktop... again.
Eh i was gonna say something about Intels ridiculous pricing.. But its been said. Their news chips are only good news for users of integrated graphics who will finally be able to play skyrim on low.
I think you all are missing the point...
22nm!! 3D transistors!! Tri-gate technology!!

Only if you were to overclock a considerable amount, the new chips purportedly have less heat generation compared to the previous 2nd gen i7. I plan on keeping my H80 if I get the 3570k, I've got 2x 120mm fans on my radiator in a push-pull configuration which keeps my 2500k down to ~50°C full load at around 4.9ghz. I'm definitely going to wait for some solid comparisons to come out before I decide on whether to get the i5 or the i7 though.

I'm definitely disappointed in the reviews I've been reading about the new processors, apparently the 3770k has severe heat issues and overclocking isn't nearly as easy as Sandy Bridge. And for the price and only like a 3% power increase, I'm definitely keeping the 2500k and waiting until something better comes out. Sorry Intel, but you messed up again.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 with ICS benchmarked

As the title said, anybody updating to ICS ever run benchmark on it? Quadrant, SunSpider, antutu, or anything that usually being used to compare 1 devive to another, you name it
My desire for now is padfone, which use snapdragon s4. My previous desire is tab 7.7. since tab 7.7 has ICS now and it would be a fair comparison, i want to know how will tab 7.7 perform now that it had ICS compared to Asus Padfone.
Any information will be appreciated
thanks before

Thanks a lot for the response
so antutu is roughly the same with snapdragon s4, and quadrant from adinis match up pretty well with htc one x (tegra 3 i presume), even though netbooknews says that padfone got 5k++ on quadrant
its understandable with 1.4ghz and 1.5ghz differences i think
wonder how great would this baby be in jellybean with the whole project butter going on
but in term of performance real life, have you guys ever use snapdragon s4 and compare it to your tab on ics? let's say htc one s or asus padfone
just want a better comparison aside from benchmark
this 7.7 is getting pretty cheap nowadays, so yeah, I'm tempted

how about they start letting us install apps and whatever we want onto the SD card, or are they also coping the apple way, by forcing you to buy a 32gb or 64gb model.
heck, i don't even have problems paying for more internal memory, but we all know those larger capacity models don't come until a month later and you can't even buy them in sprint stores (just like the 32gb S3 which isn't sold at sprint stores)..
they should ditch 16gb and make 32gb standard, memory is dirt cheap these days..
confirmed.....
The note is the most pimped out thing to be holding up against the side of your head in public, of any mobile device on the market. Respect.
Except maybe for this.

Why would somebody in theyre right mind do that?
If you dont like the sgs3 there are far better options from nokia, htc and maybe others than iphone 5 )
If Apple would have released that phone with that specs 1-2 years ago (apart from the a15), yea, it would make sense to consider buying it.
But it is way behind todays standards! And it supposedly is best of Apple for a year to come? )
Well, when I switch the GS3 for another phone, it'll have to be an upgrade, not a downgrade.. so why would I switch to the iPhone 5?
The only spec that might be higher than the S3 is the high price :silly:
Now, another similarly valid question : Who's dumping his Ferrari for the latest Golf? (assuming they were priced the same)
They should have termed iphone 5 AS iphone 4ST - t for tall
No features to boast and brag... oh got its all already there in S3 so the patent issues..... cat caught your tongue ..oh sorry Samsung bite the apple
