How about you wait until the S III is announced, read some reviews (undoubtedly there will be comparison reviews of the two) and make an educated choice for yourself.

I've been here at xda-dev for a long time now and I just want to start a thread for all Pinoy Samsung Galaxy S III owners (future owners, as of now ).

Hoping to be a future owner too. it all depends on how it looks+ finals specs and if it's compelling enough to upgrade from an S2

Galaxy S3 is awesome but for a smartphone I'm satisfied with my S2. If I have a quadcore device it would be an ultrabook. Just my opinion.
Using htc one x now, ill see this samsung S3 if looks better than this onex,and ill orders s3 rightaway online

Meh.... No Oppo section so I thought I'd post in here since I am an s3 user and s3 is top of the line at the moment, so it'll be good to compare to it.

Comparison or not, this isn't the place for discussions of other devices.
yeah that phone is beast, but think about this, LG Optimus 2X was the same beast phone two years ago, first dualcore processor, and great screen.. LG talked about it for a year, by the time they actually released it, all the phones were dualcore..
I think by the time they actually release this phone, Samsung, will have their own 1080p 5'' phone aswell

Nice second is the Note 2. I honestly love Samsung as a company they add something new and exciting with each of their new phone. I just wish that they made better build quality. Though i understand they went for a skinny light weight phone and all. I really wanted a solid build like the Nexsus 4 the build quality is Excellent on the nexsus 4. Oh well maybe next phone they will have better build quality. If not HTC here i come haha..

I'd say note 2 would of won if not then probably iPhone (say that with much disgust lol). HTC just can't beat the galaxy. They are nice phones but yea like look at the HTC one x+ still 1 GB RAM and no lte I can't understand why they wouldnt do what Sammy done and upped the ram lol oh well

My opinion...
1. Galaxy S3
2. Xperia T (It isn't the most powerful but come on its sexy, and the Xperia UI is much much cleaner than Touchwiz and Sense)
3. One X+ (Sense is horrible, but camera, etc are great on this)
I tried using Browse to locate a section devoted to this phone, but didn't find one. Am I overlooking something? Tx

This is a development forum. How can you develop for something that doesn't exist yet?
Been on XDA for a few years now. Much more than development discussed. But that's okay, neither here nor there.

Rest assured there will be one when it comes out and development will be in progress. There will be few or many sections under this phone you'll see...
Some get a forum before they are released. Mainly if they are known to have a strong development forcast with alot of developers interested. I hate to say but Samsung devices are not as popular with developers as they used to be.
Give it some time. A board for flagship devices usually shows up a month or two before the release, once the specs and photo's start leaking.
There are a lot more people on this forum than just ROM developers. Many are here for tweaking, theming and troubleshooting, as well as just because they are interested in their devices.
For now there are threads on the S6 in the S5 board.
