[Q] : How to enter on the recovery menu on the Milestone 2 A953 Android 2.3.6. - Milestone 2 General

Hello,
My smartphone is weird, Wi-Fi and 3G are intermittent, so I would like to hard reset it to clear dalvik cache and wipe all.
I tried X + power keys, I got exclamation mark, following @ or search keys but it doesn't works.
How to enter on the recovery menu, please?

Boot into Android recovery by holding volume down at power up, then select recovery and press the power button to select. factory wipe is on the advanced menu. This is the Atrix 1 procedure. Not sure if it applies to atrix 2. Good luck!

Dont worry!
Go to stock recovery(press and hold power+ vol up till the phone boots to stock recovery)
Then you will see an android with triangle. Press vol up and down simultaneously till menu comes. Wipe data and cache. Reboot.
Ps- even after phone shows bootlogo dont let go of power and vol up buttons.

& stock recovery? how can i get that now..bkoz my fone is already back to froyo..(stock rom) and meh cant install SndInitDefy for recovery..
"Switch phone off, press and hold volume-down button then switch phone on. When the android with the exclamation mark appears, you have to press both volume keys (for more info, check All-in-one Defy beginners guide)" Motorola Defy Wiki
Then press wipe data and cache, and everything should work
Thats why power+vol down. To boot into stocn recovery. Stock roms have stock recovery.

How to force into recovery

I just got my Nexus yesterday I absolutely love it I can't figure out the button combination to force into clockwork recovery I can use the app to get into recovery what is there a button combination that will put me into recovery please help me thanks
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
You could just do adb reboot recovery when it's booted.. much simpler than random button combinations (I've never got those to work either).

You can do this by holding both volume up and volume down together when powering on. Then you use the volume rocker to select recovery option.

finally! thx for the release details.
Is there any way to force the OTA update (faster)? I've heard of clearing cache at the Google framework app an rebooting.
Anything else?
Thx

No... still no retail EU JB nowhere. A member from Hungary published that he'd been adviced from Motorola staff that they're running a kind of test fase now and the massive distribution starts after that - from 4 to 14 days after initialization. That practically means the following week or the week after.

Hi. To wipe cache power off the phone. Then hold power button and down volume key simultaneously till the phone starts to ''boot menu'' where you go to recovery mode. Navigate using down volume key(NOT up volume) and to select it use UP volume key. Then wait for the android logo with exclamation mark. Press up and down volume key at the same time and you will see the menu where you select wipe cache partition. To do so navigate again with volume key (in this mode you can use both up and down) and select wipe cache with power button. After wiping is successful select restart phone with power button and you are done....

But, it comes with Recovery?
Because in HTC, we have the booatloader, and have to install the recovery after.
It comes with recovery. You can wipe data, cache and other things.
