Win Error 43.. frustrated. - Nexus S General

I've read through so many threads on so many forums trying to fix this, and I'm about to throw this thing through the wall.
I'm running CyanogenMod 7 nightly on 2.3.7
When I connect the phone to any PC (I've tried Win7 64/32 bit, XP SP3, XP SP2) I get a charging icon in my notification bar, but the USB Storage mode never opens to enable/disable. After about 10 seconds I see "USB Device Not Recognized." Happens the same on every PC. I can still access my internal storage via FTP, just not via USB. The device shows in my device manager as "Unknown USB Device."
Not sure if it's related, but when I boot into FastBoot it runs USB Control/USB Control init and then just freezes. Even after downloading a ROM update with ROM Manager it says "NO ROM FOUND"
This is what I've tried:
USBDeview to uninstall all Android-related drivers, reinstalled Samsung and Google SDK rev 4 drivers.
USB data wipe (for the hell of it, really.)
Multiple PC's with different OS and 3 different USB data cables, including the original.
At this point I'd like to try a factory reset. When I try to unroot with SuperOneClick the program just crashes. When I try a reset from the phone it fails to boot into recovery, and using the Factory data reset produces a "null" error.
I know just enough to be dangerous. If I'm missing something please let me know, and I appreciate any help.

Tried loading a CM9 rom from the SD card that I FTP'd over via ClockworkMod Recovery. It asks for data+cache wipe, then just boots into recovery. I get "NO IMG FOUND" and USB CONTROL INIT and USB CONTROL INIT END.

Try installing pdanet on your computer. Its what I did in order for my computer to recognize my phone. Hope it helps.

Should have mentioned earlier that I also installed PDANet after I wiped my drivers. It couldn't detect the phone being connected and did not completely install.

Continuous force close and also corrupted zip

Hello Everyone I felt my previous explanation of the problem I am facing may not have been a good one so I am going to try explaining my problem again. I am currently experiencing several problems. I have a samsung Fascinate. When the phone was working fine I rooted it and all was still fine. I then installed clockworkmod(rom manager). I tried installing several roms by downloading them to to rom manager then selecting the one I want then rebooting the phone. But everytime I tried installing a rom by selecting apply update.zip from sdcard E:signature to verifly whole-file signature, E:signature verification failed, installation aborted. After reading through some of the links in xda developers forums I realized I need Odin. Once I installed Odin it never recognized my fascinate in the ID com column with in Odin. I made sure the phone was mounted by selecting mount from top drop down menu from fascinate. At the same time I notice that in Windows XP it would say USB not recognized although Fascinate would show up as a mass storage when checking under explorer and see a F: drive for the phone. Iam able to see the files in the phone and transfer if necessary. I then tried getting a new update.zip and rebooting to menu where u select apply sdcard update.zip same error of invalid signature. then tried cwmrecovery and rebooting ..no luck either. Then I found a link containing a file named stock.zip...but no luck either. So I decided to wipe and reset to start all over and when I did that and the phone started and I unlocked the screen I began getting endless forceclose. This is where I am now. Does anyone have any suggestions.
You need to download the Samsung drivers first. Then proceed to use Odin.

Download mode is easy:
Step 1. Power up your phone (while phone is off, press power and release), then
Step 2. Immediately hold volume down until you see the yellow Android warning sign.
I downloaded the usb drivers for mobile but ti still didn't wok. What else do you think it might. When I connect the phone to computer (windows XP) on the lower right it says USB device not recognized.
Are you pointing the device driver installation to the path where the drivers are? And did you download the drivers for your correct cpu 32 or 64 bit?

I forgot to mentioned that I have installed the samsung usb drivers two times. still no luck. I even read that if you unplugged the usb and then shoutdown windows xp and physically disconnect power and wait about a minute or two sometimes this would help xp recognize usb port. I also tried disabling and enabling the port via manage in my computer on xp while the fascinate was connected and also tried it disabling and enabling while phone was not connected no luck eitherway. Any other suggestions. Thanks inadvance for everyones suggestions.
the drivers I downloaded are 32 bit. how do I point the drivers as you have mentioned. I also tried downloading android sdk tools and tried to figure out how to push the files top the phone but when I typed adb device under listing devices it does not show the phone or anything for that matter. I am confused now as to what may be the original problem and how to tackle the problem should I work on USB problem first then force close then update.zip any suggesstions.
You need to go to device manager, find the phone under the section that talks about not recognized usb's, right click on it then go to properties, then you need to manually select the drivers you downloaded..

TMobile G2 cant connect to PC over wire

So, I cant seem to be able to connect my G2 to the PC via USB cable. I get "usb device not recognized" error, and when looking for the device via LGPC Suite, it says driver not installed and attempts to re-install the driver to no avail. Im using Win 7 64 bit. Here's what Ive done to attempt to fix it:
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the driver and LGPC Suite in my normal user account and in admin admin account.
Redownloaded both driver and LGPC Suite and doing the above.
Tried 3 different USB cables.
Tried 2 different USB ports.
Yes, Im changing the connection options on the phone from MTP and LG Software.
Phone charges normally over USB.
I *can* however connect to LGPC Suite via wifi successfully.
Any ideas? Im stumped.

Sorry for bumping old thread, but have you found a solution? I found my self in exactly same situation as you describe.
Phone is in LG Software mode
LG Suite can find the phone over Wi-fi, other modes work through USB.
Tried on two different computers, with win7/win8 respectively.
Stock EU ROM, just bought it.
Tried different USB ports.
Yet PC doesn't recognize it :/
EDIT: Never mind, solved it by following the following instructions in another thread:

You must be on 64 bit windows. Not even on 64bit, Still try this...
1) Uninstall LG Drivers, LG PC Suite and anything you see named LG. Restart PC.
2) Install latest LG Driver from this post (step 4)
3) Install Optional MTP Driver from this post (step 4)
4) Open Windows Device Manager (just to watch whats happening.)
5) Disconnect Internet (To avoid stupid online WDM drivers)
6) Connect phone with Usb and let drivers install automatically. Give it some time to install drivers keeping watch on Device Manager window.
7) Keep changing USB connect modes to all modes one-by-one on Phone and let drivers install.
You should see MTP drivers installed now. If this does not help, cant think of anything else. If this works, press THANKS button
EDIT: Connect USB at backside of pc, directly to USB on pc motherboard.

Can't Connect to PC After Windows 10 Auto Update

Windows 10 automatically installed this update: Microsoft - WPD - 2/22/2016 12:00:00 AM - 5.2.5326.4762
Since then no mobile device I connect to my PC can be detected. I used a restore point and that got things working, but it auto updated again and this time a restore point did nothing, and after the restore all restore points magically disappeared.
What kind of USB driver can I install, or what do I need to do to get my PC detecting my phone again?
Update: After attempting to reinstall the Qualcomm USB drivers, which just came as loose files, it detected the phone improperly in the device manager and from there I manually chose "MTP USB Device" which I know is the default and that got the phone detected again. But now the phone is not detected in fastboot mode as an ADB device when I use the command ADB devices. I tried reinstalling the fastboot driver package but that doesn't do anything. How can I properly clear/install fastboot drivers to get this working again?

Samsung SM-7387V Download Mode "USB Device Not recognized"

So I'm trying to flash a Samsung SM-7387V Galaxy Tab A with new firmware as it currently has Knox / Mobicontrol
So it is locked down and you can't do a factory reset. I'm using Odin 3.13.1 and have the firmware which has the 4 files needed. I was able to initially get it to show up on Com6 is Odin but after a few min it complained it couldn't connect to the com port. After that any time I'm in Download mode windows complains it doesn't recognize the device. No amount of uninstalling / re-installing the Samsung USB Drivers, changing USB ports, windows reboots has fixed anything.
The only time I can get Winblows to detect the USB device properly is when booting it up normally.
So any suggestions on what gives? Also suggestions on if I'm on the right path to restore the device to remove Mobicontrol.

Additional notes: I've tried on a second PC with a different USB cable, same results as soon as you connect it in the boot loader mode. Both systems complain it can't recognize the device. Windows 10 systems.
I was going to include some photos of the boot screen / windows error, but it seems you can't attach photos or new members can't?
New here so this was my first post, do first posts show up automatically as it seems to be a ghost town? Not sure if this topic is viewable? Thanks!
