should have. no reason why not right?
I found this article

but I did not try it yet...

If you want to play on your tv, buy a console. The Note doesn't replace a console. It's great for on the move gaming. But that's all.

maybe becouse hdmi output on note is extremely laggy for games?

ps3 six axis works perfectly on PC. You need to install motioninjoy driver/application and select a simulation depending on your game. I use it for FIFA 12 with xbox type. Ps3 is collecting dust

i need that game very badly virtua tennis.. from where i can get it ? my device is not rooted so dont tell me if ir works only on rooted devices..
i downloaded a torrent and try to run that on my galaxy note but its was not working..please help and share the link of virtua tennis

The PS3 controller will connect via BT to the Note.. however
a) you must root the N7000
b) download the paid app "sixaxis"
c) manually pair the controller to your N7000 using a PC
d) setup a key map profile in the sixaxis app for each game...this bit isnt easy.
This would have been a great thread if someone would have a) stated the above and b) provided the key map..
Q) Why use the N7000 for games?..
A) Because you can

yeah it's cool

As the CPUs/GPUs get better on mobile devices, why wouldn't want to play games outputted onto a big screen TV? I mean we are already carrying mini-computers in our pockets already which do many things that full size computers do: email, browsing, office productivity, communications, etc.

I love playing games on my Note but replace my XBOX 360? haha
Its not even remotely close to that yet but for mobile gaming this cant be beat.

No I dont believe the PS3 is capable of sending video over wifi or Bluetooth to your phone. I know through Samsung media share you can start vids on your computer and have them play on your TV via PS3 or through all share, turn on Bluetooth have PS3 scan media and BAM any movie accept Avatar cause it's DCF "SD card" will output on your PS3 through Bluetooth.
you can rip any dvd to the proper phone format, place it on your phone via Bluetooth PS3 will see it, choose it via PS3 media, and BAM on your TV.
"That was way off topic" I think. anyway, a little info never hurts.
I'm not sure if you're able to stream the video to your phone from the PS3.. but I do know that the PS3 is capable to stream the video over wifi... (I use my PSP from time to time to play on my PS3 in a different room)

Play Games With Your Ps3 Controller

Sixaxis Controller is an Android application which allows the Sixaxis and DualShock 3 Playstation controllers to be used as bluetooth input devices on many mobile phones and tablets. This enables the ultimate gaming experience to be had in a completely portable form factor.
Up to four controllers are supported at once, and key mappings are completely configurable, as well as the analog sticks, which are currently emulated as digital key presses.

Sent from my XPlay using XDA App.
As much as I love my Play as well would totally bring my ps3 w/ ds3 with me everywhere. I usually have a backpack at all times (Im weird like that) the controller is very light, kinda small and making an equally light-weight mount is fairly strait forward, and even if I never use it outside the house it's a very convenient portable N64 or PS1. And I have both of those too!
And there goes productivity...

So I'm getting just about 1% battery drop per minute of ANY (decent) game play. Is that about right? Seems like a LOT to me...
Also:
I agree Dead Trigger is a good game albeit a simple FPS. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like they super dumb down FPS's for phones because they're expecting it to be difficult to use the screen as a controller.
Maybe they do this rightfully so, but if you use a PS3 controller, suddenly all the FPS games are rudimentary and have no depth or challenge. (they all also run too slow when you have the ability to zoom around the screen with a joystick)
How the heck do you hook up an xbox controller?

OTG cable is all that you need, it allows the phone to work in USB host mode so you can connect just about any USB device to the phone
For maximum flexibility, I recommend https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poke64738.usbjoy which is an interface program for USB game controllers which allows you to map ANY usb controller to any key you want. I use this on my Kindle Fire for all the NES/SNES/Etc emulators. It should also work with the bluetooth based controllers. One thing that kind of sucks is that a lot of games are designed from the ground up for touch screen controllers so there is no provision to even change the input device

It's really not very difficult. To connect via bluetooth (which in my opinion is far superior to ugly and annoying wires) you will most likely need root.
I prefer the PS3 controller and this is the app I use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...5ncGl4ZWxzdHVkaW9zLnNpeGF4aXNjb250cm9sbGVyIl0.
A year ago, connecting a wiimote was like 'WOAH!' now, It's almost expected. This is nothing new, and I'm really confused at why there aren't third party controllers for phones. The first good controller (or PS3/xbox copy) could become a standard to which all games are modeled upon. Game makers could even charge like $30 for a big title game and send you a controller for your troubles.
Unfortunately, as altitude909 said above, most every game these days is made with the idea that you'll be using on-screen controls. So they either do some funny things to make it easier to use the screen which doesn't translate into a controller, or they dumb down the gameplay so that it's just too easy with a controller.
Mass Effect is probably the best game graphically and gameplay wise on the US version Galaxy S3 currently. No matter how hard I try, that game just cannot translate into a controller. Because the nature of Mass Effect being a third person life action but turn based shooter, they tried to incorporate that unique gameplay into a phone, which actually works well with on screen controls, but could be so much more enjoyable if you could use a controller. Problem is that the game requires the player to tap on enemies to aim, and also slide around to use various powers...

Some apps like SNES9x allow scanning for a Wii controller via bluetooth. I just tried it with the Note and it works without a hitch. I believe all the NES.emu series of emulators on the play store work with the Wii controller this way.
I remember I had some lag with ShadowGun on my TF700.
I am convinced now that I made the right choice returning it for the Note.
Thank you for posting this.

With a lot of games you have to map the keys yourself to get the game to work with the controller, no game loft games work without changing the key mapping.
You can find sixaxis maps scattered throughout Google but they're normally for phones but if you download the key maps for the games then go to preferences and change the background, after you've taken a screenshot of the game on the 10.1 you can reposition the keys to your screenshot.
Look for maps by searching for nova 3.map and so on, there's a whole post with maps for the galaxy s3 on xda, just reposition the keys to play on tablet

Use your ps3 controller with the six axis app... It's freaking awesome.. For games that don't have native game pad support, you can set up the buttons to emulate touching the screen... Works awesome
