[Q] S Memo - Galaxy S I9000 General

I wanna use S Memo from the galaxy note on my i9000????it is possible????

Unless someone ports it its not possible. The resolution is totally different so its not as easy as taking the APK from Galaxy Note. Even if the app is ported, the S Pen won't work. You might have to draw with your finger.

S note on galaxy tab 10.1 gt-p7510?

Hi,
I looked at the function in galaxy note 10.1, and I really like the S note function. I have a question, is there any possibility tht s note will work on my galaxy tab 10.1 gt-p7510??
I hope that someone can.port the feature to our gtab 10.1 too.
TQ.
Are you talking about the software it self or the ability to use a pen?

I mean the software cuz i know s pen only works for the galaxy note and galaxy note 10.1. I can always use a stylus pen to replace the s pen. Thanks for making my question a bit clear !!
Someone?

I think there are even more new small features that I didn't put in list. It’s understandable that samsung didn't put those S-Pen features in our S3 however it’s actually still can be done for some of them. But S3 hardware is able to support the other features and Samsung should have put them in official JB ROM to further enhance our experience. Do you think they will ever come to S3 officially?
The new gallery and camera with the slow and fast motions are available, smart rotation and popup browser got ported as well. And paper artist can be installed with no problems.

Well the Note 2 was only released a few months after the S3 so you would expect these extra features , there's nothing really "revolutionary" that the Note 2 has that the S3 doesn't,i quite like the gallery in the Note 2 there was a flashable zip doing the rounds but no matter how many times i tried i couldn't get it tio work yet it was working fine when i flashed Dragon ROM (or was it Android Revolution) which had it included already.

1. new gallery
2. new camera
3. smart rotation
all ported..
only thing left is multi view
The note 2 gallery´s that i found all have one bug, when set wallpaper from tw give fc
Anyone have a gallery that works 100%?
As soon as I get my device I'm flashing Siyah, then will probably stick to stock, Flash new Camera and gallery and some other Note II stuff.
Either way Phones4u have both phones on display side by side and the Note II has the advantage with software, I just hope Samsung don't be stuck up and decide to bring most of the features to the S3.
If it is about other Samsung devices, and its capabilities which I'd like to have onboard my S3, I would mention 8GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia graphic, and 750GB HDD which I have on my Samsung laptop. It has simcard slot, so can be used as the phone, either.
Guys, RLY? While I can understand that someone would compare 9305 with 9300 because both are phones, calling for Note 2 seems a bit strange...
ups - almost forget to ask that someone should port 5x50W audio output from my Samsung Home Cinema system

Don't confused between hardware and software. Software is flexible while hardware is not. I said no point having s-pen features in s3 but not the other.

So the note 2 has the same camera assembly as s3? if it is, that is a bummer.
That is what is nice of Android. Everything ported. Devs are awesome!

Underlined are what ported already. Bolded are what not ported yet. I think what most of us really want from Note 2 is Multi Window. We could care less about S Pen stuffs. I know you're talking about Samsung themselves giving it to us (instead of ports from amazing devs), but don't you remember the old days when Samsung refused to give ICS update to Galaxy S I9000? At the end of that device's life span, Samsung pushed an update giving many Galaxy S2 features like Touchwiz 4.0 including a few others. So, my money is on Samsung giving those features to S3 users. But the real question is when.

For the camera, if I'm not wrong only 1/3 of features is ported. Wasn't S3 too early to get value pack treatment? There should be one more android update. I understand what you mean, we might only get them when near eol.

People keep saying Smart Rotation is ported, but I can't find it anywhere. Any links please? That seems to be the only useful feature Samsung implemented since Galaxy S1.

Why not use this thread as a count of how many features have been ported and which are not.
Add things like Gallery, Camera, Popup Browser etc with a strike-through on them.
To show that those have been ported, and which have not been.
Cheers.

[Q] Galaxy S III C-Pen compatible with Galaxy S4 ?

Does anybody know if the Galaxy S3 C-Pen will work on the Galaxy S4 ? That stylus isn't listed in S4's accessories on official website.
yes why not
the c pen just a normal stylus only
I think it's a little more than a simple stylus. On my S III it works as well as my finger. On my Nexus 7 it's not very efficient. It works to unlock screen, and do some stuff, but I have to stress a bit to open an app for example.

S Note from note 2

I was wondering if this app can be ported to the s4 it has a lot more functionality compared to S Memo

[Q] Note size of new Snote app

Hi,
I have the KK Testrom installed on my Note 10.1 (N8000) together with the new S Note app.
The good thing is that I am now fully compatible with my Note 3 (S notes).
Only thing is that the notesize is so much smaller compared to the older S Note app. The notesize of the new Snote app are compared to the screensize of the tablet. The older S Note app had a more A4 notesize (at least twice as big as the newer app).
Is there a way to enlarge these notesize?
Sorry, I misplaced this question, because it should be on the Galaxy Note 10.1 forum. MOD please delete this topic.
