Is there any alternate link to download Tytung's latest update to his NexusHD2 ICS rom (ver. 1.5)? He has said in his developer thread that he doesn't want anyone else to post links, but several people, me included, have had problems with the links he posted. One doesn't work in the US, another says it is going to take 3 days to download, and the third downloads about half of the rom and then stops every time.
I've been running his rom for several weeks now and I really want to update, but there seems to be no way to download the rom. I can't post in the dev thread, I can't message Tytung, and he doesn't seem to be responding when anyone asks him to post another link. What to do?

Have you tried using a different browser? I'm using FireFox with some addins to protect me (NoScript, AddBlocker and Ghostery) that seem to prevent downloads too. So I'm using IE in SandBoxie to get the file, recover it and delete the sandbox right after that...

and only to find that the link is non existant! has someone deleted it from the FTP? GRRRR!!!

Yep, link is working, i just clicked it and i'm downloading 1.48 now.
Also keep in mind that the wiki is made up by all users on this community, so if you see a problem on it, by all means feel free to fix it Also if you have an addition go ahead and post it. Just remember to make sure its not already there.

try connecting to the ftp directly?

are you the same one asking for 1.47 yesterday? we had the same complaint yesterday that the ftp was down and it was not down...it works fine. I did upload the 1.47 to rapidshare yesterday and posted the link in that thread.

and yes finally got it to work!
PeerGuardian (Firewall/IP Blocker) saw the FTP as a bad site and silently blocked it ... thanks guys, just silly me not checking firewall happily downloading now!

I have managed to download it after surfing the HTC website in Internet Explorer. I have tried previously in Google Chrome and Mozilla and the download have given me an error. But, it seems it's working through IE.
I hope its a good fix.

So you all have ROM version 1.19.xx.xx? Because HTC states that this patch is ONLY for those versions of the firmware.

ok i have a question ,, i am using the legend rom ,, i just downloaded the live wallpaper signed zip ,, i installed it i find the live wallpaper option but it wont launch even the cube wallpapers ,, am i doing something wrong ?

I cannot download anything. The file acts as if it's going to download, but as soon as the progress bar comes up it finishes instantly and the file size is 138kb. I have tried downloading both the Sense able ROM and the Eris Radio, same outcome for both.

"I vote sticky" means I think we should make this thread a sticky so it stays at the top of our forums for all to see, wasn't referring to you. And don't worry, no ones offended. Its just that this thread was started to post the website hosting all eris ROMS by GrdLock, not to walk people through live wallpaper patch installs.
Just start your own new thread to ask the question and people will be much more inclined to help.

I was using internet explorer (I think 8) I retried using Firefox and I think it's working now, thanks.
Download issues
OK, I am using Firefox now and nothing will download over 70 MB, it downloads until about 67-70 MB and then finishes incomplete???
Im on Windows 7 Ultimate downloading with firefox, and after 2 tries, the root rom corrupted on download both times. MD5 is not matching up.
I'm not sure what might be causing that issue for ya'll. I successfully downloaded files using 5 different browsers on my linux box and Windows virtual machine, as well as Firefox and IE on an actual Windows computer, i downloaded a rom using my phone, and went to the apartment office's business center and used one of their old ass computers with horrible internet and the rom still downloaded fine.

I am having the same issue, tried from work and thought it was the firewall, got home tried on windows and ubunutu VM, stops at 68.8M everytime???

Hmm, that file downloads perfectly fine for me. I got two people in the IRC room to download the Sense-Able rom and it went perfectly fine for them as well.
I'll submit a ticket to my webhost though. If people are having download issues then they need to fix whatever's causing them. I'll post back when I hear back from them. I upgraded my hosting package just to accommodate the bandwidth to host this stuff.
So far I'm counting 3 people who have download issues? If anyone else has problems please let me know so I can tell my webhost.

It has english but some places chinese...... wifi works good but lot of force closing application. Camera works fantastic...... as of now phone started rebooting by itself. I am unable to sign up to the forum to sahre my findings.
I have tried this latest one with Turkish lang. pack. So far so good. Wi-fi works, no force close issue, google apps work, market works, installs and updates. No reboot so far.

No, I haven`t tried it yet. May be I try it this evening. I want to try this rom for issues for a while then apply that update patch.
Edit: The only issue that I have experienced so far is Youtube connection issue. Google update pack didn`t solve it. The strange thing was I couldn`t even connect to youtube website via browser. Back to Miui v.11.11.04.

I really loved this ROM the quality of photos and video was too good. But lot of FC and reboot i don't know what caused this problem......

both ROMS downloaded fine for me just now, but the link for the official GB update does take a while before it starts downloading. took me about 3 tries before it finally went through. just keep trying til its stable. if you still cant get it, I could always upload the file to dropbox. but my connection sucks so Im not really wanting to do that lol
