Guys, before posting something like
"not work and e.t.c."
I will tell you when i will test in normally.
That first release from our CyanogenModXT720 devtree.
Anything may not work.. eveninstall )

No problem at all this is very hard work!
Thanks

Installation aborted. It could just be me but I tried twice. But no worries we get it soon I'm sure! Thanks again fj

Would not boot but I will redownload Ron was not built in a day
It just gets bootloop.
Sent from my XT720 using xda premium

I was able to download and install it, but it goes into bootloop . Of course, I read that it doesn't work only hours after trying to get this to load.
I know we'll get something good once the problems are resolved.
Thanks for working on getting this out for us to enjoy. I can only imagine the number of sleepless hours spent on doing all that work; and for very little rewards (except for the complaints when something doesn't work).
Please keep up the good work. We are so lucky to have people like you around.
Thank you fjfalcon!

Unfortunately, Motoroi is impossible from only Bootfix.
Must be use the only one firmware. It's "Korea Motoroi 39R firmware".
All the other firmware does not work.
So, i'll try port to your's CM9 base on 39R firmware.(when time permits)

Your rom bootloops milestone xt720 any fix.
Thanks

help me cm9
i cant install this. i apply update then reboot but crashed on motorola logo.
is this installation different from other roms?

I've flashed lwxddlqcm9.zip on my XT711 which is a chinese version of XT720. The phone boot successfully. But the baseband is unknown. And it seems that sim card can't be recognized. I've tried to setprop ro.baseband in super-terminal. But it is useless. I've replaced with stock baseband and many XT720' baseband. And it doesn't work. Is there any easy way to handle with it?
Thanks in advance!

First, I know that fjfalcon is working on this and he will update his first post once it works. I'm only posting this in case it helps anyone here.
Here are my experiences with this rom so far.
It won't go pass the Motorola logo.
I tried the March 8, 9 and 10 updates and none have worked.
For now, I stay on fj's CM7 and will try the next CM9 update when posted.
Don't get me wrong, I love trying out ROMs and helping, if I can. My only experience is with installing ROMs so I cannot do much more than share what I've tried doing with my installs.
Many thanks to fjfalcon, whom I'm sure as many other things to do.
I also would like to say thank you to people like Mioze7Ae, mchlbenner, J.Y.Daddy, LibertyMonger and others for working, helping and even just posting about everything and anything that could help the less experienced users, like me.
Thank you guys!

Can someone nicely give some advices to handle this problem?
Baseband is unknown and sim card can not be recognized by the phone.

You should go to the [ROM] 9.0.4.3 lwxddg. thread by mchlbenner and ask your question there. This cm9 here is the one fjfalcon is working on, and not the same as far as I know.

What exactly is the difference? What can you do on CM7 that you can't do otherwise? Just wondering if it's worth all the trouble.
This is an official CM rom made by the CM team. This is the final build of CM 7.1 using OS version 2.3.7. Now when the ICS source is out they will start work on CM 9. Expect daily/nightly revisions of this build from the CM devs on this forum though
And in answer to your question. CM is a android rom built from the ground up for each device. Unlike most custom roms, CM is based on the AOSP (Android open source project) and not the latest sony firmware. It's basically a stock android rom, very fast and very stable but includes nothing Sony. It dosen't even include the google apps, you have to flash them as a seperate package
is it worth doing to the xperia play, im on the latest nordic firmware would i lose things such as facebook inside, and the xperia play menus?

You will loose everything like that. But on the plus side, you get more space, better kernel and latest android version.

hey just seen this fantastic news !!!, I apologise in advance , but would somebody be able to point me to the right area for a guide to install this on xperia play, i have a vodafone uk device with a locked bootloader,? ..... thanks in advance im sorry if this has been asked its just now this release is a stable version i wondered if there is anything inparticular i need to do different when installing
has anyone loaded this yet? is everything working, camera, touchpads etc?
the one thing i'm worried about is losing the Touhcpads/PSXperia. I know that both of these work on the XDA version of CM7, but what about the official?
hmm, prolly wont work r800x ? it says r800i

thats my worry aswell, i can live without the psxperia, but what's the point of having the play if the slide out controls dont work
no xLoud or fake BEngine,PSPocket or any of the cute SONY apps..
just saw this too,at least v will be on the list of it ,will be a lot more changes is coming soon, unlike before, there is just a too small crowd of ppl of r800 owner

it says stable so every thing should work right?
Anyone now how to istall it? There is just a zip, no boot.img. i am on 2.3.3 with doomkernel.
i'm thinking we probably have to load it with clockworkmod still waiting for mine to download though so i haven't tested yet
here's the guide for getting clockworkmod up and running:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1130639
Okay my download finished i will make a uploaded.to mirror soon becouse the download on the CM site is very slow. There is a boot.img inside the zip, so i think we really just have to wipe and flash the zip.

Official CyanogenMod do not need download tracking. They have stats.cyanogenmod.com
does this mean clockworkmod will support xperia play cause it dosnt at the moe on rom manager, i guess ill have to try installing via the fastboot method on here which im not 100% sure about ? ....
any help guide installing this would be a big help

i am looking forward to build aokp for x10, so to just make sure that i can build a rom from source, i tried doing this
please report how it goes ??

Apollo force closes from menu. Use widget and no more force closes . Every time screen turns off, upon any screen on event it reboots. Sleep issue?
I just set screen timeout to 10 minutes to check things out. Wifi, data, browser, fixing permissions; all work. Also, on screen off, it is not doing a full reboot as apps were upgrading and continued when it rebooted so it didn't lose the data signal. Great Job. Anxiously awaiting your AOKP release.
Going to test it too,i will give feedback after a day of usage.
thanks for your efforts.
@champ,mates
i was unable to use the rom,it was giving me FC's,i was just able to use the settings menu,i tried wiping cache, fixing perms, but nothing,i really want to test this, any suggestions? please.

I just read in CM Discussion Room that FXP CM9#122 reboots every time screen turns off and the colors are still buggy. So, you did a great job of porting. And on yours the colors are fine. So, have you tried doing anything with the Camera files on CM9?

I've read good things about this OS. Sony has recently released a ROM for the Xperia E!
In my opinion the atrix development should be focused in building an ICS kernel :/
i hope that will work someday.

[ROM] Liquid Smooth

Moved to Developer Forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507461
Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.
Any volunteer testers?
So far, I've ported a copy based on Note 2 using Sbrissen's CM10.2 as a base.
Here is the link:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23203820527943718
You will need to flash this then gapps.
Please flash at your own risk!
This is a test only.
I am currently trying to get one built from source too.
If I got the time, then I might be willing to test this. I'll inform you later if I'll test this

---------- Post added at 06:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:17 PM ----------
The ROM works great, the Performance control crashes and the first boot when google syncs/downloads the apps you have had synced with google didn't work for me(don't know if it's just me or all the devices), BUT downloading from Play Store works fine. These are probably the only bugs for now, will update when a new bug appears, btw nice rom I love it!

Hello yoAeroA00,
Nice to see that more people become active on kernel and stuff for Nokia X2, keep up the good work!
But on your github page i see you asking people to keep your authorship, it is reasonable and right, but yourself you making squashed commits without respecting original code and commit authors.
This makes you kind of double-face, please respect others authorship if you want
same respect to yourself.
