So people claim it takes forever for things to ship, but I've bought 3-4 things from dailysteals now and it usually takes around a week from my experience.
I bought a few items from them:
My first purchased was a Palm Pixi, got to my house in two days flat.
2nd: 16gb MicroSD - took about a week
3rd: Nook Color - took 16 days
I believe they act as middle man for other liquidators, so shipping time varies!

When the next Nexus comes out
Very disappointed with the Verizon data issues on the CDMA version. Got rid of Verizon and the CDMA Nexus.
Since I don't dev anymore, well, publicly, I am going to stick with fully open devices. The CDMA version wasn't fully open either, no CDMA driver source.

While it requires 2 year contract but also available to existing customers who want to add an existing line. Those on individual plans may realize monthly savings switching to the promotional family plan they also got going. Maybe get one for your wife, girlfriend, as insurance when for when you do something stupid, etc. These should (hopefully) also have the corrected GPS hardware as well.
Let's try not to let this thread devolve into a discussion about how the phone isn't actually free. I'm just trying to help / make sure people that would be otherwise unaware, are aware. Plus, I just love plugging my favorite phone ever whenever I can.

According to the TMO CSR, it's a 20-day return policy when purchased over the web. As this is available online only, this is the case.

Yeah, I read that rumor as well. It either will or won't come to fruition. However, if it's only to add HSPA+ then I don't care. If it has an FFC too, I'd care more but enough. If they add HDMI out though then I'd probably care. Either way, it might still ship with v2.1 Eclair. LOL! There's also a waiting period for support by devs for any new phones even at XDA.
In the opinion of you folks who own this phone... worth using my upgrade for? I have a MyTouch Slide now, but I'm itching for something else. I was leaning toward the Nexus S, but this is about $200 cheaper. And seems close enough hardware wise where I would be happy with it.
After a bit of back and forth with myself, I decided to go for it. If I don't like it, I still have my Slide and will send the Vibrant back. Yippee!

Not entirely but I plan on switching to the Touch Friday if I can get my hands on one. I will still be hanging around and helping as possible. As long as I have people willing to test I can still help out without the phone.

Pretty good deal. I love how they advertise the picture of a white i9100 for the front and the back of the real Note lol. But I've bought from them and they're legit, but my keyboard box was all beat up, the keyboard was pristine. It took them about 1-2 weeks for my keyboard order to arrive, I believe as there is so much demand for the things they sell.

Dude, ive been married almost 3 years now and I know the work-around for your issue. You order it and when it shows up at your door and she sees it you say: "baby, summer is almost here. I got this for you so you can relax by the pool and read a nice book, or listen to music, or even watch a movie if you'd like" The she gives you a big hug and a kiss and when she gets tired of the damn thing its all yours.
PS: replace pool with balcony/backyard if no pool is available.

I know how you feel - I paid $720 in December. It's still an awesome phone, but I can't believe how quickly it lost value. Then again, I guess that's what we get when we pay inflated grey market prices!

Yeah, it didn't lose value; you just paid inflated prices, because it wasn't available in the US.
I paid a little more ($15 more, after shipping+taxes) than this a month ago for the NTT Docomo version, and I'm OK with this. I still have a warranty through Negri, and now that it's officially available from Google, I'm hoping getting it repaired will be met with little-to-no resistance.
