[Q] European Motorola Pro Nandroid Backup - Droid Pro General

I currently have the European Motorola Pro running cyanogen mod designed for the american version. There are bugs which cause many functions to not work as they should.
If anybody could make or has a Nandroid Backup of a European Motorola Pro I would be very grateful.
Kind Regards
Jonathan

What? Do you have an european droid pro with cgm? Are you sure?
Give us your steps for installing it!
Here you can find nandroid backup
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1509095

Cyanogen
Here are the steps I used:
1. Flash US Software
2. Wait 48 hours till error message "code is corrupt" no longer shows.
3. Install ClockworkMod
4. Recover the pre-made Cyanogen backup for American model
5. As soon as you play around with any of the mobile network settings it will no longer work so you should just leave those alone.
Kind regards and thanks for the backup

Great! Did you try with ICS?
Wich US software did you use?
The signal is the same? Or you have seen any issues?

ICS etc
I have not yet tried with ICS because there were too many bugs listed and I still need to be able to use it.
What do you mean by which US software I used? I used 2.26 SBF.... If that is the answer you were looking for.
The signal is the same. The only problem with the signal is that if you change any of the setting the phone will display error messages which renders it unusable.
As to the nandroid backup which you sent me a link to.
I tried to restore but there was a md5 mismatch. I downloaded it multiple times and there is always the same error???
Kind Regards

Did you try also my other backup?
Did you try to upgrade to gingerbread?

I am using the edited version of the backup and there was no problem with md5s. It is currently recovering. could you please tell me what was removed?

here you can find how to flash and here you can find all fw from samsung. But I don't recommend you use GB firmwares, they are development versions and have some bugs. The most stable and usable fw is XXKB3

You absolutely can. The Indian firmware is only because of Hindi or telegu etc language packs and yeah no one speaks modern Hindi anymore it's all English spelt Hindi. Like 'ye kya hai ' so XXKB3 is your perfect bet. Also the default language is Russian but at startup you can choose english or it does it automatically by selecting your region from SIM. Gl and safe flash

Successfully flashed to FW KB3.
The issue I am facing is GPS lock its taking around 20 sec to get lock and its not steady after few seconds the lock is getting released..Please help.

[ROM] Stock TWRP 1.29.661.5

This is a dump from a never booted phone from Telus Canada. It should work with other phones, I've been using the 1.401.12 roms without issues.
Hopefully this has something people can use. This rom is clean, doesn't have any bloatware or anything.
Here is the download link. I don't know how long it'll stay up..

There is nothing in here other than a TWRP backup... Not sure what AV you are using, but you are the only person who mentioned anything...
Sorry, I should have been more clear. There doesn't appear to be anything in the rar but the download link takes you to a site that insists on wanting to download other software and that's where the threat is detected. NOD32.
is it sim-locked or not
Hi jeb101,
could you tell if restoring this backup will SIM-lock my phone or not?

This worked great for me. Was having many issues with my phone, so much that I wanted to send for a replacement. Fortunately this rom sorted them out. Thanks @hossman

Many thanks! I rooted, then used Titanium Backup to remove some bloatware and to integrate updates into ROM... but for some reason most of the apps that supposedly integrated into ROM were simply deleted, including launcher, keyboard, and play store.
This got me back to stock which I rooted, and now am working again.
can't seem to get it to work. boots up and everything but i get to the wifi setup page and click my network and it goes onto to "checking connection" page then says "couldn't connect to the internet" i've tried skipping and it says the same, no luck. any ideas?
Works great on my VM variant of the xt1548. Great way to return to stock experience after testing or tiring of custom builds. Using a Data Done Right VM variant with the free unlimited data "loophole". This ROM maintains connectivity to the loophole with just a couple build.prop edits. Great work.

Didn't got the System Update App on my x722

Hi guys,
hopefully someone can help me here, cause the support can't...
About the Phone: Bought it from Geekbuying. It was shipped from Hong Kong to Germany. Installed Android is 6.0.1 and EUI is 5.8.020S, also Android Security Patch is from 1st August 2016. The phone isn't rooted or the bootloader isn't unlocked, too. Also TWRP isn't installed. So it's a fresh LePro 3 Elite. Like i said: I can't find the System Update option in the settings. I didn't know that much about ROMs so you guys have to answer in more details to me. I read something about "Shopping ROM", maybe this is what i got and I just need the original ROM from the Website?
I am already so sad because i can't find anything on the Internet and i think this is the last chance to get some good help here.
Thanks for the answers...
If you don't have system updates option in settings, and you have Google Play pre-installed, that means you have a factory installed shop ROM for international customers.
Stock ROM have system updates in the settings, no Google Play as Google is not available in China at all, and a ****load of pre-installed Chinese crapware...

Hm, that means if I install the Stock ROM from LeEco i won't get the Google Play Store automatically and many chinese apps?
And how about if I install a custom ROM?
That's right, stock ROM doesn't have anything Google in it (no Google account, no Play store...) and a lot of Chinese crapware. You need to install Google manually (via Google apps v2 apk for instance) and need to root the ROM to uninstall all the crapware...
You still can update by flashing zip. Power the phone while holding volume up, you'll go to stock recovery where you can flash stock rom.
I don't own a x722, and I think there isn't many custom ROMs for this model. Also I think a few had issue with stock ROM on this model. Checkout the x722 subforum.
Hm okay. Can you tell me a little bit in more details how I can flash update the device and which ROM versions should I download (5.9.0.23S or .26S)? Also I only found these ROMs for the x722 but theoretically it should work?!
Edit: After I flashed the new ROM I will got the System Update settings?
I don't know exactly as I never used the stock recovery: I flashed TWRP instead. I don't know if TWRP is available for x722 though.
And yes with stock ROM you have the System Update item in Settings.
Latest is 26s, but some people prefer 23s. I have stock 26s on my x720.
Okay thank you, maybe I wait for someone who got a x722 too.
Τhe procedure for updates is pretty much the same on all android phones, as ZeblodS wrote to you. You have to download the official rom from leeco website(http://bug.letv.com/cn/download/phone/80). But you need a download manager to download the rom, I think. Then you copy-paste the file into your phone memory and rename into "update.zip". Then you switch off the phone and press together power and volume up buttons. So you are into recovery, you choose update in the menu and then the "update.zip" file. Generally this is the procedure. In my opinion sheck out into many sites and find a detailed guide. Be careful because any mistake might brick the phone. I just describe a general guide to you. Do it at your own risk. Sorry for my english

No need to change the name of the file with TWRP, I didn't and it worked with my x720 each times (and I tried a lot of ROMs...)
Sorry for your infortune, are you sure you got the correct ROM for x722 and not the one for x720/x727?
So far I never bricked my phone by flashing a ROM, but I've read several topics on this forum about a tool named QFIL to save bricked LeEco phones. Maybe try to look this way, but I never had to use it so I cannot help you more with it unfortunately...
Soooo... I can't get into Recovery Mode (It Boots and it instant turned off). Also it stucks on the LeEco screen. I only can boot into Fastboot mode. I just downloaded the ROM from http://bug.le.com/cn/download/phone/80 with the JDownloader 2 and put it into the Internal Storage. After this I rebooted into TWRP, factory reseted the Phone and started to flash this ROM. Because of the factory reset Unlock-OEM from Developer Options is turned off.
Edit: The EUI before was 5.8.0.20S

If you flashed a ROM for x720/x727 it's normal you have bootloop: they are not compatible with x722. That's why there's a specific subforum for x722 ROM (but only stock ROM seem to exist for x722, it's not a popular device...)

No, unbricking in nearly impossible. I tried to flash the new firmware with TWRP. I downloaded the firmware from http://bug.letv.com/cn/download/phone/80 with JDownloader 2.
I think the last chance to unbrick is with the QFIL tool from Qualcomm, but for this I need some more files. I just wrote an email to the chinese support of LeEco (USA doesn't support the model!!). Let's hope they give me the correct files to unbrick it... Also I want to search for the right Handy repair store (No one wants to repair it...)

[Unmodified] Pre-rooted firmware for SM-G361F

Hi everyone,
Today I am posting this thread because of some idiots who are now sharing pre-rooted firmwares for SM-G361F that are full of bloats.
I am sick of that, this is why I upload the archive of the first pre-rooted firmware I got that was at least clean.
You can download it here: https://mega.nz/#!oqpRhZJZ!B18uTiB3TH-QfChoqjgWCNmaPjqInPZbFyI4u9-T8s4
Note: This firmware is ONLY for Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-G361F devices with AOG1 build.
Of course I don't own the firmware and I didn't root it, I just keep the right to upload it.

Pre rooted
Hey,can you find SM-G361F pre rooted version for this device?
BaseBand G361FXXU1AQA1
Build number G361FXXU1AQD1
I can't find it anywhere
I love what you're doing. All other pre-rooted ROMS are full of trash. Could you make it for G361FXXU1APA3?
Hum... OK guys thanks for the love but I have to remember you something.
I am not a developer yet and truly not a ROM unbloater: I didn't "disinfect" the firmware, I just reuploaded it (well after a fast check, I found I've already prevented about that, just read the thread please...)
So no dudes I can't do that, sorry. I COULD eventually do that, removing bloats and extract system image to make a flashable shouldn't be as complicated, but I do not have time.
Sorry to disappoint you.
Hey Atronid, you rock! I have the AOL1 but intend to give it a try cause I already rooted it but it's full of bloast. Do you know if I can flash another pre-rooted firmware considering I did this already? could this be harmul? -brickful? )-

I don't think doing this will brick your device, but careful. Ensure the usal requirements are here (OEM unlock, USB debug just in case...) and you made a backup, also in case something goes wrong.
But if you're rooted you got plenty tools that can remove bloats from your device, but I hope you're not easily scared because once removed system may spam that the bloat you just uninstalled has stopped. You can get rid of that by just rebooting your phone.
So you don't need to reflash any firmware if you just want to clean your phone up.
Yes, you're right. The problem was that the apps I tried to remove other apps weren't the right ones, but now that's sorted thankfully On the other hand, as I couldn't find an Android 6 ROM for my phone (not even a sorry recovery.... ) in the end I set my mobile to install new apps on the sd card by default. Actually it works similarly to the app Link to SD, so a part of it is on the SD card and the rest (like the data it generates) in the device storage, despite all the tutorials sell this method as "Installation directly on your SD card". You need a computer and official Android development tools (SDK). In case it's of any interest for anyone I'll include the tutorial I followed, but it turns out I'm not allowed to post links yet, so the title of the article was Cómo instalar aplicaciones DIRECTAMENTE en la tarjeta SD from androidjefe website. In English, How to: Force Android to automatically install apps to SD card from softonic website
I hope it helps

So you don't need to reflash any firmware if you just want to clean your phone up.

Read first post. I don't think it will work if you have a build other than AOG1.
And you should not use TWRP to flash like this. Use Odin and Download mode instead.
Will this rooted firmware work with my SM-G361F phone? Need advice...
Hi there,
Will this rooted version work with my phone?
I'm new here and need some help and advice re Rooting this Samsung phone SM-G361F - I'M NO TECHIE but have ability to following instructions and make connections etc. My phone details are below.
Baseband G361FXXU1ASC1
Build LMY48B.G361FXXU1AQD1
Patch level is 2017-4-01
Security software version ASKS 1.2_161011
I did once try rooting a Samsung tablet using Odin and it all worked OK, but that was a while ago.
How important is it to get the identical build or baseband? Anything else I need to check?
I was trying initially trying to change the phone's MAC address, as I was experimenting with the phone, however I could not use an App to do this as it stated phone that the phone needs Rooting first for App to work. Also tried Terminal Emulator app but it kept failing to work as I was probably, unable to input the text commands required correctly.
I hope someone can please help and advise me on this.
M
Kind regards
