enjoy..

I don't like the font! :|

Nice edit, but is really a big ***** (don't have "the word" to write ) of Samsung, do a really good Smartphone on Hardware but even the own Samsung don't give the necessary support to the OS.

Picsel Browser looks AMAZING!

I mean, is it just me or this soon to be released (to everyone) application looks AMZING! My friend has it on his Verizon WinMobile phone/pda, as it came preinstalled, and I have to say that this app rocks.
I am surprised that nobody here is talking about it or is trying to figure out how to get it working on a Wizard or similar device.
It is possible to get a copy of this application - PICSEL VIEWER - from Palm.com (if you use your friend's Treo 700w Device ID when u download) - and I even got it installed on my Cingular 8125 - however I belive it has some sort of software license - as it starts up and gives me a message saying that this application has not been licensed for my device ....
I can't wait for the Picsel guys to officially release this tool (www.picselpowered.com) but in the mean time - if anyone happen to know how we could get the Treo 700w licensed to work on non-Treo devices.... well I'd be very very happy.
Peace
What does the Picsel browser look like?
I love Picsel Browser and Opera ( but latest version is memory intensive )
Youtube video is present in the link below
Download Picsel 1.2
wonderful, and so fluent.

Convert Ppc To Iphone Operating System

CAN SOMEONE CONVERT WM2003 INTO IPHONE OPERATING SYSTEM LIKE THIS GUY HAS DONE [ITS NOT THEME ONLY, ITS COMPLETE OPERATING SYSTEM], ITS LOOKING GOOD, HAVE A LOOK ..
REGARDS
HE WROTE:
For a few days before Chinese New Year, I've actually been quite busy developing my very own iPhone interface for the PocketPC. After looking at the functions and interface on the iPhone, I was keen on bringing it over to my Eten M600 PPC. The iPhone interface was pratical, looked neat and it was way cooler than any wm5 theme. And it was unique as well.

Why so damn loud?
It's the "COMPLETE OPERATING SYSTEM"? Are you sure, particularly given that even Apple doesn't have the COMPLETE OPERATING SYSTEM yet?
Check out this link and use the theme components. It should work on Wisbar on Wm2003.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296308
The other functionality has to be backported and spliced into WinMobile. That's an ongoing task, on a case by case basis.

the omnia 2 is out and there seems to be so many applications and skins worth porting. some of what cought my attention is
1-totally skinned and finger friendly to replace all aspects of widows mobile interface. the basically did what MS should have done ages ago
2-the amazing video and sound editer
3-video player with support for mpeg4 and xvid
4-the fingerfriendly image viewer
5-the task switcher
6-the cube interface, L&W modes and the touchwhiz2
7-other apps like podcast&RSS , OCR for recording contacts information, new music id medomi application, new file explorer and calander
video and more info http://pocketnow.com/review/samsung-omnia-ii-i8000-1?p=2
so, where can we download the omniaPro/ii ROMs so we can start extracting the cabs and packages to port them to our devices

very true matey ... it would be awesome if someone can port the apps to htc touch hd ....
How about the skinned file manager, and midomi?
im having an issue finding the ROM bbut there are people over here who already have the omnia 2 would someone post instructions on how to dump the installed rom so they upload it for us.
there is a lot of thing to like about their customized software
I would love to see some of these application on my Touch Diamond. The skinned file manager, and Touch player especially!
I would probably kill for the task manager...thats what I've been craving for months now. Also the SMS and Email app is a must have. Don't want the phone..just the software
The resolution is different, so it's very hard to port these apps to Omnia I
I've watched PocketNow's Youtube i8000 software tour and it is simply incredible. I've heard quite a bit of negative things about the Omnia II i8000, but the software tour provided by PocketNow really made it shine.
The interface was very fast (in some cases, as fast as the custom ROMs available on XDA) and the available software was simply unreal. The video editor and cube were particularly nice, but I believe Samsung also got the first Windows Mobile version of Midomi ever making it that much better.
I can't wait for the QWERTY Samsung B7610 to finally come out.
i found this thread. the omnia II rom dump is uploaded in mediafire here
hope this is enough for people over here to start
some apps are already extracted here http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7f364dce2089ae8a4c17ca8801618ef78fe1cb5b49933873b8eada0a1ae8665a

Smartmemo.rar --Didnt Not Load, No errors message, just a [Ping] sound.
TCalendar.rar -- Loads but app is in VGA.

Looks real nice though, if only they worked in wqvga.
i added a picture of my xperia in the first post
also a cool guy posted a nice story about all this in pocketnow. i hope now we get enough attention from the devs here to port the rest
http://pocketnow.com/news-archive/samsung-omnia-ii-apps-being-extracted-for-other-devices below is part of the story
Samsung Omnia II Apps Being Extracted for Other Devices

.
There should be more developments once they dump the ROM and more people get involved, which is the main focus of the thread. Visit the MoDaCo thread and keep an eye on the dedicated Omnia II extraction thread at XDA for any progress and to test the apps.
How many of you are waiting for a functioning Midomi app to be ported? I know I am. Hopefully patience pays off.
In case you missed it, check out our full Samsung Omnia II review.

Has anyone tried these on the Diamond?
Update: Tried TCalendar and Phonebook. TCalendar seems to work at first glance looks really nice, however, I cannot add any appointments or anything and the menu softkey makes the screen go crazy. Phonebook just gives me a a black screen with only the keyboard button in the down right corner.
Need Midomi..
Downloaded and tried Tcalender. ..
It worked as u can see in the pic, but it fails to creat new appointment or to access the menu soft key ??? apart from the first home screen nothing else is working.
Edit: I have Xperia X1i, Official R3AA UK ROM
Tested the TCalendar on the HTC Touch Diamond 2 (Topaz) with the Custom ROM Topaz Essentials
Viewing of the Calendar works fine (although quite slow) - but opening the menu or adding a new entry does not work
Oh.Can't dl from mediafire
who can upload to rapidshare for a mirror?
Only need the Part02 Disk1 dump files(part1.rar part2.rar part3.rar)
thanks very much!!!
I just want to search into the dump folder for any other files needed to load the apps!
Just a quick update from a Touch HD running pkoper's EPS HDX WM6.1 ROM:
- TCalendar: starts, shows appointments (in all views), looking good. Navigating to dates works. Menus, however, don't work properly. And it's all in Hungarian.
- TClock: doesn't start ("components not found").
N.
i think these compressed executables are missing other supporting files thats why they are refusing to run. a proper cab of each of the omnia application need to be created. lets keep an eye on the modaco thread for now

Urgent Flash 10.1 not being release by Adobe: Youtube effected already. Urgent

https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/suppor...n_us&loc=en_us
This is the site you need to visit to reqest flash 10.1 for windows mobile. Sorry no email is avilable to do this direct with Adobe.
Please register at adobe first so you can contact support. We need as many people as possible to request flash 10.1 beta to be released for windows mobile.
This is a big issue as youtube and many other video websites won`t work without it on windows mobile. This effects all windows mobile phones not just Toshiba TG01.
Please take the time to do this. The more request they get the better! Please also tell them how it will effect your browsing pleasure and that you hold adobe products in high regard.
Suggested wording for your request:-
"One selling point of the TG01 was its ability to run the Flash 10.1.
I am requesting they release this flash 10.1beta. To request that you please release it even if it is unstable. I understand this effect all windows mobile devices and request its release. Without this flash update my browsing pleasure will suffer and my use of my device will fall.
Please show your support for windows mobile by realeasing this update to flash. I have always looked to Adobe with high regard and would be dissapointed if this Flash 10.1 is not
released. Especially as Youtube is already being effected because of the lack of this update"
Yours faithfully.
wrong section ball sack

Thats why I request everyone contact Adobe and request flash 10.1 beta to be released. If enough of us do this they may reverse the decision.

My Omnia 2: Tested Applications

I have made a blog just for the testing applications on my device Samsung Omnia II i8000. My latest adventure was when I ported my device to Android. I can't tell you how happy I was when it worked in my device. There are still bugs, that is what they have said and it there really are problems like awhile ago when my wife called me - we can't hear each other.
Well, just so you would know My Omnia II is now available not just for WinMo but for working applications on Anroid Omnia ii as well.
See you there.
In order to go there: Move MOUSE CURSOR on my username and choose "Visit noelablon's homepage"
