I couldn't install this program.

I'm still searching with no luck.

Finally I found a way to (at least) send message via pc. I make a guide, but it is Turkish.
In a couple day, I will make an English guide hopefully.
If you're interested, you can check the guide from here.

PPC Send Contact 2004

reposting this because the original thread was truncated,
this program will send contact mobile number info thru SMS.
i will be releasing it soon.
Are you trying to say that this can send a vcard (more or less standard way of putting contacts-info in one file, can be read by ie. Nokia phones) via sms just like it allready works with BT?
Should be a Contacts-add-on instead of an extra piece of software.
@edsub
there is already a plugin that can do that but the problem is, its not compatible sending vcard to some of the phones (nokia,moto..etc)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13545
my application will send the mobile number info with some short note using SMS so the nokia phones or any other type of phone that can send/recieve sms can have it. Ive got Tired of cut&pasting contact info and sending it.
No offense, but next to the fact I think your app really is very useful (for me too!!) I still think it should be a plugin for the contacts app. Can you make the app to behave like a plugin (or am I asking something weird now)?

Wow! This is great Pare!
In relation to this, shall we also expect that thru this app we too can receive Vcards from Nokias? The reason why I'm asking this is because my PPC device can't seem to receive Business Cards from Nokia phones.
My sincerest thanks!
hi guys
i found a app that sens vcards on the net but i cant remember where it was on one of the free ware sites.

WM6 Message Interception

Hi, i downloaded the Windows Mobile 6 Standard Software Development Kit then installed it and created a new WM6 Project with these:
Imports Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Forms
Imports Microsoft.WindowsMobile.PocketOutlook
Imports Microsoft.WindowsMobile.PocketOutlook.MessageInterception
but how come the application cannot intercept the incoming sms on WM6 smartphone? I tried it on a WM5 smartphone device and it worked.
Any help guys?
I've got absolutely no idea about Smartphone stuff - but is it possible that the tighter security model on the Smartphones requires a developer's certificate and signing etc?
V
hi Vijay, thanks for the reply. If it needs signing, how do i do it? also, i forgot to mention that the application did run on WM6, the only problem is the message interception part. It was not able to intercept the incoming sms, instead, it went diretly to the Inbox.
any help on this?
i tried this on my wm6 emulator and the application was able to receive the incoming sms. On a real device, it can't.

Sending Unicode SMS messages via mobile phone from PDA

Hi,
I need your help to find out a software that I can use my HTC Touch Cruise to send and receive Unicode SMS messages via mobile phone.
I searched over and didn't find out a software that works with WM6. Can you help me to find one?
Thanks
Is it that hard to get?!
It looks like I am asking soming not easy to get! I did almost two weeks search for workable software. I only found one software which is called Instant SMS Sender. I tried it and it works. But it doesn't have must features like Indovisi SMS.
I hope someone can come up with better one. Lets look who is the Hero
Thanks
I found a very simple freeware software which is called zSMS v0.6. I tested and it works. It doesn't allow me to type unicode SMS. Did any body test to send unicode SMS using zSMS software?
Thanks
Try using Simple SMS V5.0 (For WM5 & WM6), and you may find your luck, depending on what type of handphone you are using.
Well, I still prefer Indovisi SMS but I am having the same problem with you.
Let me know if you find any better software too..

Regions Bank + Java app not working on the xperia

So everyone needs to check their banking account every so often. Well on my tilt I could use the program that regions created for people with mobile phones to check through. It worked flawlessly. When I got my xperia x1 I tried to find it in the list of devices on regions mobile website and the xperia was not listed. So I just tried every device that I knew was already windows mobile 6.1. Well that still didn't work. It kept coming up with an error -51 (i think that's the number) that it can't find the certificate. I've tried it so many times that now, for some reason, I don't even receive the text message from regions giving me the link to download the application.
Are there any suggestions from anyone?

It needs internet connection to active on your phone. However, Desktop SMS Manger doesn't need internet connection to active or use. You just need SDK tool kit on your PC.
I will try it and than come back to share which one is good. Thanks
any other options out there for this?
Yup, it's called Texty but it´s in private beta.
I got an invite recently and this thing is awesome. You should google it.
Ive always used SMS Control Center. Connect either wifi or bluetooth, the computer software is really simple, and its free.

Hi,
I am trying to use this app.
I am stuck at this point:
Once download complete run “MainGUI.jar” application and click “preference”. Browse to the path of your downloaded and unzipped SDK Install package. You need to select “adb.exe” file like this “/androidtools-skd-windows/tools/adb.exe”.Checkout the below screenshot.
How do you 'run' “MainGUI.jar” application?????
Please advise.
