LG Optimus Vu is also getting stylus. - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Wow, LG really wanted to copy Samsung's ideas. At first they announce the awful 4:3 ratio Vu and next thing you know it's also going to sport a stylus too. Link below from Engadget:

Everyone copies someone at some point. The great thing about Android is that there is choice. Whether that is removable battery, screen aspect ratio or physical keyboard, screen resolution etc.
I wouldn't buy the LG Vu primarily because of it's UI and the lack of frequent updates LG is famous for, but hating LG for all that doesn't benefit or justify our purchase. The point is to keep android going and let the costumers decide for themselves.
This thread reminds me of the type of blogs i read labeled as "Slide to unlock is OURS! No-one else should have it!" Samsung didn't invent the stylus, but i am glad it is present on my phone.

Well this really'd be better to make notes with this thing. But It's definitely would be worse to watch HD movies and to hold this in one hand and also you'll need bigger pocket for carrying this.

Windows Mobile 7 series LG E900 shown off in video.

Another little gem of a leak/tease of winmo 7....The LG E900 ...
VIDEO AND PIC HERE :
http://www.wjddesigns.com/2010/08/23/windows-mobile-7-series-lg-e900-shown-off-in-video/
Crappy video but still shows it off a lot.
Looks better than the C900. It has less borders, especially on the bottom, and the home button seems to be flush or to be some soft plastic clicker. And of course it is thinner.
For me it looks ugly.. after i saw the awesome pics of HTC Schubert/ Mozart and the beautiful design studies in the upper post. It´s too long and round, i like more the style of the HD2.
LG styling is disgusting.
The best looking is the one used for development.
Anyway 100% of the devices with WP7 shown so far
have a bad, disappointing design.
There are great designed feature phones,
but to my surprise there's no good designs of WP7 so far,
ugly and boring.
I wait for SE.
i'm not a LG fan, but this has to be the best design came from LG. I was like is this really a LG phone!?
better pic of it

I think it sounds interesting, and hopefully shows that companies are still pondering Android devices with gaming controls.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of the add-on controller strategy though... I do like that I always have the Play controls with me, conveniently tucked away when not in use.
EDIT: Note that it is a 10-inch tablet
I was interested. It does look good. Things like onlive would be great. In the end though, i just went and got the Asus transformer TF300.

Its kinda huge to be carrying all arround the place. Lol. The battery life it would drain with the game + gaming accesory would be terrible. Plus its gonna Cost how much??!! Why oh why couldn't they just make a device with a build in gamepad just like Play. Sony won't even bother like they not bothering giving us anymore update. What a waste.....
Somebody weak up sony ...

Would anyone buy this device??

Would anyone buy a device which was a merge of the Galaxy Camera & the Galaxy Note ???

I would !!!
Yeah a nice utopic idea, but with the current technology you might as well grab a brick to your ear. The battery would have to be huge, I know the full HD recording sucks battery like crazy and just look at how thick the Samsung camera is. Now imagine this with a 5.5 inch screen and you'll see how that would not work,
I would already love if the camera could also be used as a phone. That way I would probably get the Note 2 and my wife would keep the Camera, as she loves taking pictures of everything. Too bad it's just a fancy camera with Android on it, and only time will tell if it is worth it.
Samsung should allow simcards to be put in the Galaxy Camera like what they did in their Samsung W880 (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_sch_w880_amoled_12m-review-398.php).
I'm certain if they did this, the Galaxy Cam would be the most serious rival to the new iphone as the hype is already here for the Galaxy Cam! They would only need to advertise it as a smartphone camera shooter like what Nokia did with their 41mpx pureview.
I think the Camera is a great idea - if the next generation really improves the quality of the sensor it would be almost perfect for everyday photography.

xperia z1f(z1 mini version) IPS screen!!

I prefer mva z1 full hd screen, ips is not symbol of quality, lg g2 id very bad color acurracy, worst than amoled.

Does not say anywhere that it is IPS screen though... not even the japanese spec sheet... just the normal Trilluminus +x-reality...
and I don't like how it looks... looks a lot like IPhone 5C TBH... still prefer the bigger one Z1
I will definitely buy this phone if it will be available on the international market! Unfortunately there is no official statement about this
docomo z1 will probably have this screen aswell lol. but in full hd.
I really wish that this would come out in Europe as well, whilst I do admire the Z1, it is far to big (personal feeling)
I'm not going to cry about 720p instead of 1080p, but finally a 'smaller' device that isn't cut down internally as well!

Turn your Note 2's screen into a cinematic 42" viewing experience [ideas]

So back when I still had my Canon T2i I had a viewfinder which magnified the 3" display 2.8x.

. In the ad it mentioned the cinematic experience and strangely enough it wasn't a lie. It looked amazing. However, because of the low amount of pixels it was quite easy to count them.
Now, I think the Note 2 has a lot of potentional to also be turned into a cinema beast, for watching movies for example. The cool thing about the viewfinder was that from the inside it even looked like a theater, due to the shape and a soft material which contributed to the overall feel. Pretty cool. This thread is mainly meant for creative ideas, since there aren't any 5'5" double eyed viewfinders out there. So join in, see who else is interested.
Would be amazing if this could materialize. Keeping track of this thread.

:good: So I did find a (rare) dual viewfinder, for the Canon 5D3 etc, which is suitable for 3.2" screens. This pic is for reference and perhaps an idea. The issue with finding the right magnification has to do with the focal length/point, size of the magnifier and the piece that would connect to the screen.
