[THEME] Gingerbread CM6.1 by Benny879 Updated 12/19 for droid

I dont know if this already exist on the forum or not just found it useful and post it.

I apply this on
update-0.04-10.12.12-cm-6.1.0-Milestone-signed.zip latest cm rom and it works well even tho it was for droid cm rom;P (no sure about this) and it doesn't have led issue. I dont have test much about this, at less when there is a missed call,my led light is blue not green by default.
Important: If you found gingerbread keyboard not fit on your machine.Delete the LatinIME.apk and it's lib inside. use cm's default keyboard instead, because gingerbread keyboard layout looks ugly in my milestone.very small. can't barely type on it.
and there might be problem on the latest market too. replace Vending.apk with cm one.

thanks very much! i used another gingerbread theme but this one is much more complete.. i'll try it out as soon as i find some spare time.
imho it would be a little cleaner and nicer to make the notification area look this way: it's cyano_black theme,i only modified services.jar to display green on/off switch bar..i still have to remove the cyano logo on lower dropdown bar..but overall i love the way they mix up together.
do the original gingerbread roms have this grey part in notification dropdown? i don't like it at all

the gingerbread animations arent here, any chance of including them? also the led notifications are not working right , the led doesnt blink it just turns itself on until i use the phone

Firstly I just want to say this is my first ever Android Theme and I had to get advice from others to make it happen so a big thank you to them
I created this theme using files from B137 Firmware (Android 2.2.2) but may work with other U8800 Firmwares and ROMs.
Theme's Features:
- HTC Sense Style Notification Area
- Circle Battery Mod
- Sense Style Notification Bar Icons
- Carrier Logo Changed to White
- Clock Changed to White
- Gingerbread Style Launcher
- Bottom Popup Menu Text Colour Changed
Installing Theme:
- Copy Downloaded .zip file to Root of SD Card
- Boot into ClockworkMod (Tested with v4.0.0.5)
- Before you do anything else perform a Backup
- Choose Install Zip from SD Card
- Locate the Themes zip File and Install
- (optional) Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
- Reboot and Enjoy

Make your own in UOT Kitchen. Pull framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from rom's zip and use them with kitchen.

I tried to install this theme with oxygen but it freezes on ideos logo.
Any ideas ?

This theme is for Froyo 2.2 upto B137, Oxygen is Gingerbread 2.3
Sadly I won't be able to update this theme anymore as I am no longer running 2.2, Sorry.
If anyone wants to update/modify this theme and post back up please feel free

if i flash that, can i get the original theme back?

is this a theme or launcher? how can i revert back to the original one?

If you would of read the post correctly you would see its for 2.2 not Oxygen or any other 2.3 ROM!

FIRST Thanks to Alejandrissimo for taking the first steps.
And al credits go to the master bignadad for his supurb BigDX Xoom theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1015434 (check out his post for icons and more wallpapers)
So it is based on his work , but I had to alter some stuff to make it work on the A500 and PB , it should work on the A501 because all the 3G stuff is included.
Battery in steps of 1% and matching wallpapers.
ONLY for HC3.2 rooted / busybox / deodexed ROM.
How to install ?
-FIRST TAKE FULL NANDROID BACKUP !!
-Wipe cache , dalvik and batterystats.
-Flash with CWM and reboot.

The white one is finished see first post , doing it maybe this week the red one.

New ICS inspired bleu mod , see first post.

Apply ICS dock in LauncherPro:

After hours of testing I located the problem and fixed the battery bug. Phew.
'Removed' dividers in settings (between the different headlines), in menu and other apps.
Used Genokolar's ICS ROM to add more stock ICS icons.
Status bar - changed dividers and topbar.
New look of the clock widget (stock ICS style)
New look of progress bars. Both color and shape.
New look of popup fields.
For the vote thing, LauncherPro is included in the theme.

The wallpaper.zip includes the stock ics wallpapers (extract and move to sd-card). I have included 2 ics wallpapers in LP --> longpress on homescreen> wallpapers> wallpaper gallery.

Well, you could simply flash the Oxygen ROM again, or use "advanced restore" in CWR and restore system from your backup, or replace the files in my .zip-file to the original ones.

Nice theme, using on daily basis to find any bugs/sugestions. Is there any way to turn of de launcher open close/effect? I don't use any visual effects on phone.

Mine doesn't...? have you seleted it as default in settings?
Anyway, I have fixed the bug with dialer (it looked bad). I have also changed to LauncherPro, and themed it a bit. It is much more faster and stable! Soon we are on a final version

You can choose between my theme or Cinthiar's. The one you chose you need to flash in CWM. If you want the keyboard you need to install it normal way, as for every other application

Thanks. ICS keyboard is set as default. When i launch 1500+ nature wallpaper apk it crashes. Can you try it? It is free apk on market. Actualy my girlfriend has it, because it her phone
My phone has miui, so I'm testing both oxygen and miui. It seems that oxygen is more stable and fast then miui.

About the poll, i vote LaucherPro. I am using it with the ICS icons on the dock.

I found 1 little bug: if i select battery percentage, it shows number but no little bar on the right like original oxygen theme.

In oxygen everything works perfect but in cm7 i couldn't get ics (look like) lock-screen. At the moment i am not on cm7 anymore so can't do more testing... I just went to cm7 to check if my wifi works there (doesn't work nowhere?!) mean while i also tested your theme

Yeah, Cm7 is a bit different than Oxygen, so I had 4 lockscreens which I had to edit. I was thinking to do it soon, but since I use Oxygen as a daily ROM I have not had time to do it. When I am finished with my theme for Oxygen ( over Christmas some time) I will look at it

Btw, there is already a 100% working ICS theme in android market for CM7. At least when I used CM it worked and rethemed everything.

Hey man thanks for this... Sometimes it looks a bit buggy (f.e. notification menu), but often it just looks cool and that's all what matters.
(i BTW use ADW EX, not the LauncherPro included, but still really nice for the menus, browser, ....)

Nice yannn007. You used apkmanager? My framework-res.apk got a ugly bug when compiling it, but I ony tried with apktool.
Been busy with school lately, but have time to work on it this weekend ^^
