What do you mean by don't reboot in Step 2. Wouldn't you just wipe, flash, reboot?
EDIT: Also, this rom looks awesome and thanks to all the dev who worked on porting this, and building this in the future.
EDIT 2: Flashing now, will report back in the morning.

Links are LIVE!!!

EDIT: So the only way it worked was to flash ICSSGS and then this rom, but it works!

I edited the OP so you didn't have to DL a whole ROM... all you gotta do is flash the I9000 version of glitch kernel, reboot recovery and flash from there!
And I would like to know how it feels for you? Thanks
Sent from my SGH-I897 using xda premium

I tried this ROM on my wife's Nexus S and looked good there. I hope it will work out over here also.

gonna be flashing as soon as the d/l finishes over ICSSGS.
30 mins left to download. not complaining, just anxious ;] cant wait to have ics with a decent lockscreen. thanks for the work b-eock, will report

See I am not all bad , just frustrated a lot of the time because of noobiness. My uncle is about to die of throat cancer and kidney failure so it maybe a while if there is an I9000 update for me to do the file changes and stuff...

only issue i have so far is the signal strength is innacurate. it shows 0dbm even tho it has full bars, which btw, i never have full bars. everything else is pretty neat.
best of luck with your uncle bro ;///

Same thing here, which is a known bug so I can live with it. Yeah b-eock, this rom is just as smooth as any ICS I have used combined with Glitch. I love the extra customizations built into the settings. Thanks for the port.

customizeable lockscreen and status bar = ownership. this is so cool!
This ROM is by far the best ICS rom.

This is one awesome ROM!!! I love the lockscreen options. The battery options. Just everything! Thanks for this!! Coming over from CM9 which I used from build 11-15.

Bad news.... :'(( Thank you guys for all your prayers, he went peacefully at least. I am still gonna kelp the thread updated, and I am going to do a mod for it. But it will be later. Again. Thanks guys

Bless your heart for giving us this in hard times. I'll be preying for u bro. Hang in there. We don't need an update, this **** kills.

Rate this thread 5 stars guys. This is the hidden secret right now. Not getting much attention.
On par for 6 hours screen time streaming music over wifi. Where's glitch recovery???

Glitch kernel isn't included in the ROM yet, will do that soon. For now just flash the kernel!

Unsure of why i get the glitch boot screen....

Hello everybody, -original post on modaco-
Koudelka worked hard to get an initial tree working for AOSP (based on Codeaurora's Froyo tree for qsd8250, big thanks to phh for suggesting), credits and kudos to him! I've been conversing with him in the IRC chatroom for a bit and have agreed to release this ROM, to maintain it, and to adapt the Liquid vendor/device tree to CyanogenMod, aiming for full hardware compatibility with Froyo and future Android versions. I am constantly updating the tree, and will provide nightly builds as soon as possible, the current builds being fully functional (WiFi, 3D, GPS, radio, camera -thanks to phh's RE of the libcamera-, camcorder -adaptation of Acer's libcamera-, geolocation, battery and missed call LED -thanks to cgatay for CM6 compatible patch-, haptic feedback, USB mount, accelerometer, and soon to be Proximity sensor)
Thanks to phhusson's hard and diligent work we also have a full functional Froyo kernel! (phhusson is a miracle worker, work on hardware is thanks to him!)
This is not AOSP Froyo, FRF91, nor AOSP Eclair, this is CyanogenMod 6.X.X compiled for the Liquid and LiquidE!
So here it is, CyanogenMod 6.X.X with the regular Xian ROM addons and mods, for you to install! It's is a Froyo based build, includes JIT, and supports Adobe's Flash Player 10.1 (installable from the Market).
Again, credits to koudelka for the base and phhusson for the Froyo kernel! And credits to Cyanogen for the Android source and improvements! -> official CyanogenMod changelog
These ROMs WIPE DATA as to prevent incompatabilites between revisions, so please Nandroid and backup your personal DATA with Titanium Backup before upgrading, or flashing the ROM.
Suggestions are welcome to improve the usability of this ROM! Please feedback! And please also say thank you to phhusson and koudelka! We'd appreciate a drink -> donate link.
Enjoy

History :

Hello everybody,
Thanks to phhusson's hard and diligent work we not only have a working Froyo compatible kernel but also a working Liquid vendor tree made by koudelka (based on Codeaurora's Froyo tree for qsd8250, big thanks to phh for suggesting). As you all know he compiled AOSP for the liquid, and released on the forums as a test ROM. The ROM I'm releasing today is designed for everyday use, it has all hardware working, WiFi, GPS, Sensors, 3D, 3G, with the exception of camera, which is currently a work in progress (phhusson is a miracle worker, all work on hardware is thanks to him!).
But, this is not AOSP Froyo, FRF91, nor AOSP Eclair, this is CyanogenMod 6.0.0 compiled for the Liquid and LiquidE!

These ROMs do not automatically WIPE apps but they do WIPE your PERSONAL DATA. If you encounter problems please wipe data/cache and reflash the ROM. Nandroid backup to be sure!
Suggestions are welcome to improve the usability of this ROM! Please feedback! And please say thank you to phhusson and koudelka! Who both deserve some beer.;)
Enjoy
This looks very nice but when I flash it through Malez Recovery I get stuck in a boot loop. I tried flashing both alternatives afterwards. Nothing helps.
I have an Acer liquid E with the 2.2 Froyo leaked .bin (0.007.00).
Any ideas?
why is the acer iron keep blinking after i flashed it and reboot? solution??
Same, I'm in a boot loop
I can't seem to get it to boot past a boot loop either, maybee if I have time later I'll logcat it.... for now, I has to run
screen stuttering
hey, been using the build for the day and every few minutes the top of the screen acts as though its being tapped on and the notification bar shoots down/things on screen get selected randomly. havent been able to figure out how to reproduce.
Try setting the sensitivity to a default 70/70.
That is happening to my LCR-installed Liquid E too with the highest sensitivity.
Just get it to 70/70

That's like asking the difference between two custom Samsung ROM's. This has different features, plain and simple. Install it, see if you like it more than AOKP or CM9, if you do keep it, if not, replace it. In my personal opinion, CM9 is quite a bit behind AOKP and Gummy as far as features go. CM9 takes a lot longer to get things done due to the review process and the amount of devices something has to work on.
Is anybody else having a problem with the home key. I only get haptic feedback when I press the home key and nothing happens.

Mmk, I'll work on it. That's what I get for listening to b-eock
The keys are now working after i installed "gapps" and rebooted the phone.
Sorry for the false alarm.
probably reorientated kernel/port from i9000 as reason

This is neither a reoriented kernel, nor a port from the i9000. Even if it were, the home key would still work, it would just function as the back key.

[ROM][4.1.1][Base AOSP (JRO03H)] Codename Android 3.0.1 Beta [JB][07/02/2012]

Hi guys, im not develop this rom, im just sharing for you all
Codename Android is a rom that focuses on speed, usability, and getting every feature that I can get CRAMMED in there. This rom will include features from all over (credit given of course). This is simply something I wanted to share that I thought would be fun to put together, and have worked hard on making all of the features play together nicely and organized them in such a way that they would be very easy to use. Codename Android is back and releasing roms again, have fun, flash away.
Side-note: Codename Android is an open source project, but due to the spontaneity of the posting of the rom, full, compilable source will be released on the github within a day or two.

CNA team is no longer exist.
They will no more post or release anything here.
AndroidUser is the only dev who support the rom.
And if i'm not wrong, he is at first a user of RootzWiki so, it's not strange to see is Rom only release on Rootz...
Nice to see some more roms. thanks for sharing.

Does boot if you use bedalus kernel!
...before flashing you must wipe all...
did it without success...
now I restored JellyBelly - cwm - format system/data/cache 5x - flashed CNA & _thalamus JB Kernel and now it works.
don't know why - had the same problem in ICS during change from CM to AOKP but this fixed it.
edit: restored JellyBelly once again - wipe davlik & cache - flashed CNA & _thalamus JB Kernel - works also - no full wipe needed

It works
You need to flash another kernel (the latest air kernel for me) after you flash this rom.

Oh!! I thought you you've compiled with ZeurionX
Atlast, the slim goodies for cancro!! I will surely try out this rom next. One thing though I miss the black slim rom. That blacked out UI was nice in the era of kitkat and while I was using little SGY.
Great work @aniket.lamba
Keep up the good work.
Rom is good but as the first alpha build I assume more things will come. No slim features in the settings. battery seems ok. but cm nightlys gives way better battery. I have attached some screenshots No statusbar tweaks at all. nothing special, and miss slim goodies. Plz add them in the next build. Camera is ok but snapdragon camera allows more tweaks. So rather than google camera, snapdragon camera in the next build will be better. But I t
