Hopefully someone will make a ROM for us.

Well, I read a little on the documentation provided and it seems that MIUI will now provide a patchrom which we can now freely integrate into a Stock ROM of our choice and it becomes a unofficial Miui ROM.
Core files like framework, systemui, and all the jar files need to be updated with MIUI codes.

eyebe1970's Rocket rom v21 MIUI Style Themed, soon to come in v22, hopefully by tomorrow!
[ROM] ROCKET ROM - v21 - XXLA4 [Update 30/01] - JKay Mod Alpha3 - MIUI Style Theme!

I somehow don't like MIUI. Feels more like using an iPhone. I really wish someone had cooked up an AOSP Gingerbread ROM at least for the Note. I am just way too pissed off with the laggy TouchWiz.

For MIUI port come here please!

(DEV) MIUI ROM sources, ONLY for developers!

Hi everybody!
I was searching something about a MIUI port for our ZTE Blade, because if It can be ported to a Motorola Defy or a Acer Liquid, with no 1ghz processor or in a Nexus One with the same Adreno GPU as our device, I think that an experienced developer can port it to our device, because here and in another forums, as Modaco or HTCMania (for spanish speaking users) we have excellent rom bakers
Here are the sources, the are definitelly experimental and not useful for single users, just like me:
h ttp://android.modaco.com /topic/327783-wip-miui-por ting/
Hope it can help a developer, if I could I'd help you, but I have no idea of programming and I'm not useful with this stuff. Hope that this project is OK and maybe, in a close future, we'll have a fully working MIUI in our device
Regards!
P.D: This software belongs to the developer that left this project, it's not my software. I've just copied the link.

Those aren't MIUI sources. MIUI is closed source. The only compiled versions are for armv7 phones, so they don't work at all on the armv6 blade. The only people that could make a blade version are the MIUI developers, so go & hassle them.

Xiaomi have started making certain parts of miui open source as from today wbaw, but all the guides are chinese. Seems to be some sort of tool what merges miui framework etc into stock roms/cm7

Its also posted on miui Google+ and most other miui sites such as miui.us and miuiandroid.com

Sounds good, if they do release the source code then somebody should work on a blade port. Nothing can be done until they release something close to the full source, I just see a few little apps on there at the moment.

Yes that portrom had a massive guide but its all in Chinese it looks like it merges parts of MIUI into stock/cm7 roms for phones that don't have it. But the 35page PDF is all Chinese. And yes they only opensorced a few things at the moment, them few apps and I'm sure the framework is too within the portrom folder.

MIUI for Galaxy S Plus

..is here a dev who have a i9001 and could port miui to the i9001 ??
My question to the dev who portet it to the GalaxyTab answers:
xavierjohn22 said:
It could be done by the dev in the i9001, basically they just have to use a base lib files and kernel to boot it. Then use miui framework and apks, thats what i did with the tab.
I dont have i9001 so it would be hard for me to see debug the phone.

Please because this is the fastest and smoothest rom i ever had..
Dontron
a working cm7 is needed for a port!
..it's not possible under Cranium Rom ??
Dontron
no..it not possible
a rom has to built from source..then only MIUI can be ported
(since MIUI is closed-source)
..i have read that its possible to use the desire hd rom version (unfortunately I have no idea)
Dontron
it would be great if it could be!
Has anyone tried this out? My wife is dying to use this rom... I think I might give it a go if you're not just outright telling a fib.

The iPhone would WISH to have a UI like MIUI.
Miui definitely combines Android, iOS and WebOS features in a way that makes it the best of all worlds.
dd
it would be great !!
Well, I've read in the spanish web of MIUI that it will be OpenSource soon and they link to GitHub where there will be the repositories (github.com MiCode)

AOSP based? Do you plan on Official JB baser ROMs? I was thinking of making my own kernel and ROM as currently all epic devs are gone. Like hyperdroid team, but then I got my exam date sheet so I cancelled.
So I mean if you ever want to go for Samsung based ROM, call me in.
And a simple GIT guide http://rogerdudler.github.com/git-guide/

Please i request to the people who are good in porting the roms please port roms based on touchwiz and oxygen os too, going just on aosp and cm does not bring changes much to our beast .Users like me also want better eye catching ui which is not always possible by cm and aosp.
If anyone interested to give any other roms please suggest , as i expect we have more porters for our device..............:fingers-crossed:

But all these Roms r based on Cm sources and comes with same look so now it looks kinda boring that's why I am requesting u to Port some ROMs for Kenzo like EMUI,Funtouch Os, Cool Ui,Color os and such amazing Roms

Many of the roms that you suggested are either closed source or are only partially open sourced. So unless the original developer of these roms decided to port it for kenzo, no one else can. Just like miui, only the original developers of miui can port it for non xiaomi devices.

if that's possible why you do not try to build a rom as you explain ??? and we will definitely be using the rom you built.
we can not blame the developers because they do not build rom as we want, because there are a lot of desire, but only a few can help to meet the wishes of all of us.

The developers of miui have ported many roms to different devices, you can check more about it on their download site. But it does not make it open source. You cannot get any feature of miui rom on custom roms because they are closed source. You can check everywhere and if by any chance you get the source code of miui share it and i will build the rom. Theres a difference. Please recheck your sources.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_custom_Android_firmware
as you can see here oxygenos is closed source, you wont see it anywhere other than oneplus.
miui is partially open source. they will develop roms for other devices but wont share their code.
similary there are many roms out there that you will see are ported for some devices, however it wont always means that they are open source and can be ported.
As of right now, half the roms you mention wont ever be ported to kenzo.

he misunderstood what i was saying. I said that unless the developers off these roms decided to port it for kenzo, it wont be ported because all of these are either closed source or partially open sourced. Posting it on xda wont result in it being ported. He will have to write on their respective site for these roms to be ported. Just like miui, they have ported rom for non xiaomi devices, this does not mean that they are open source and anyone can port it.

And meanwhile those ROM try to imitate iOS and get ugly UI.
It's kind of funny to see the OP is still requesting to port above ROMs, even after acknowledging the fact that most of these ROMs are closed source.
To OP: If you want a ROM different from AOSP, go install XOSP. It's based on Sony's Android UI.

Thats just what i suggested bro. Meh my only concern is this that we get a stable kenzo rom based which is not too cute like xiaomi and have no bloatware. Lineage is the best choice cause you can mod it to your satisfaction and you can guess what i mean.

Dude why cant you understand. If you want emui ask the devs who own it. It wont be ported by asking here. Its closed source. If it was open source it would already have been ported. Same with color os, and other roms you suggested.
To port a rom we need a source code of the rom, the device, the kernel. At current the source code for kenzo is only for marshmallow. Even the nougat roms that have been ported are compiled from multiple sources. So yeah we need source code of emui rom to port it.
Tell you what. If you can find the source code for any of the rom you suggested above, i will ask a dev to port it. Just find the damn source code and provide the link here.

Miui devs decided to port their rom for other phone. this does not make it open source, and no body other than the miui devs could port it.
Similarly, oppo devs decided to port color os to other devices and if you want color os to be ported ask them on their own website. Nobody on xda can port it for you. Only the oppo devs.
Source: http://www.gizchina.com/2014/03/28/oppo-asking-fans-which-phones-should-they-port-coloros-to/
The other roms are in the same state. I am not saying that it cant be ported, rather no body here can port it unless they have the source code.
Difference between open source and closed source:
open source: anyone can port it
closed source: only the owner can port it.
In short no closed source rom can be ported by devs here at xda. If you want a certain rom which is closed source ask their developers. Like ask oppo devs for color os, ask coolpad devs for cool ui and so on.
So you get what i am saying.

I've seen way to many people make threads like this before. Honestly, you should find a ROM you want and request that instead of just asking for a new ROM.
Its useless, the roms you mentioned have no any usp that can beat miui or cm at any instance ,those are like skins which u can get at substratum or in miui, there is a plethora of those which will make your phone look like no less than orig ones.no extra features that can even attract a dev.however u can try flyme os which may find you a little tasty.
Also, agree with that ,all cm based roms are a like ,the diff. Is that a feature is avail. In this and missed in others.so lineage is like stock one and rr is most customisable.i even didnt try any of those cosmic, aoscp, and blah, blah except of aicp and mokee who keep guts with daily build and incremental ota and aegis app.
If i am at your place ,i would like to request to port some features from miui like mi drop and dual space etc to cm.
As far as I know, Color OS only exist on OnePlus and Oppo device only. (they're from same parent company). So it's closed source though.
