Any file can be modified to Increase the system volume ?
You can use the app Equalizer from the market to increase the volume.

Just thought I share a discovery:
Using voodoo + stock on jpy I found myself unable to alert files in the system folder even using root explorer. When trying to change system apps like modded touch wiz or phone apps I couldn't gain access so I tried converting just the system folder back to rfs via voodoo recovery and voila! Was able to change system to read write!

hi.I'm using the hyperdroid rom with the Nand development.it works fine but the only thing which is difficulty to handle fire me is the size of the letters.these are to small.i search fire option but didn't find it.ty

Get Root Explorer apk, install it, with root explorer go to folder system, find build.prop ,long press on it and choose Open in Text Editor, find the line containing lcd density=167 change it to 240 press back, it will ask whether save it, confirm. Then reboot your phone.

Simple way to increase your volume.
Im pretty sure you won't brick your phone but please do this at own risk I take no responsibility for your actions.
Make sure you are on a rooted device lol how else would you have 4.2.2.
Download the file
If file name is to3g.txt rename it to to3g
Copy file with a file manager ( I use ES with root permission)
Go to /system/ect/sound
Delete the file called to3g
And click paste and the new one should by magic appear.
Change permissions (hold you finger on the file) to rw r- r- ( mine looks like this rw r--r--
And then delete the new file to3g.bak if it appeared. If It didn't then you should still be OK so long as you did all steps.
Reboot and hey your phones louder.
Get noozxoide Eizo rewire pro and you have a loud kick ass phone again.

What you did was change sound file to go above 50/55 to 63 there for making it louder. If you get the noozoxide app that will then help with equalization of the volume and more.

I've seen a lot of methods posted here, none of them is really working. The easiest and most effective way is this one. (Headphones only)
You need a rooted device and a file manager with root access.
Go to root\cust\hw\eu\prop and open local.prop with an editor. Search for the "ro.config.ce_authenticate=1" line and add a # before it. Save the file.
Now go to root\etc\audio\hi6402 and look for the "mixer_volumes_PLK_L01_ce.xml" file, and for the "normal" version of it. Delete them both. You may want to make a backup of them, in case you want to return to the previous situation. Now look for the two "PLK_TL" mixer files and rename them both. Change "TL" with "L01".
Basically you're tricking your honor 7 into taking the asian variant values for the audio, so you'll get the full audio output of that model.
Reboot and you're done.
Volume is MASSINGLY increased. Viper4Android will optimize the quality and make it sound even louder. Please don't listen to your music at maximum volumes for a long time.

Hello it possible do the same for the phone speaker? When I receive a call most times I don't ear the phone playing even volume is in maximum.

Hello there..... There is solution for low in call volume in our phone....
Needs:
1.rooted Asus m2 pro
2.good root explorer (like solid explorer)
Steps:
1.Go to root storage>vendor>etc>mixer_paths.xml
1.1 MAKE BACKUP OF MIXER_PATHS.XML
2.open mixer_paths.xml
3.go to volume controls
4.search RX1 digital volume
5.put value within range 84 to 90....(you can add 95 but can damage speaker and ear also)
6. Save file and grant su permission
7.reboot
And enjoy....
I changed the value to 94 but sound is not so loud makes no difference

On any android 10 rom the changes made in mixer paths has no improvement in incall volume
Now I'm in stock rom mod this rom only improves incall volume by changing the mixer paths values
