Flashed Wrong Firmware to Nexus S - Nexus S General

So I ran into a little problem with my Nexus S (Model i9020a, Koodo network in Canada). I originally was rooted with vanilla firmware 2.3.4 and ever since ICS was released I thought I should unroot and get the OTA update. Only problem is that I unrooted it and updated it using a online i9020a 2.3.6 rom. It now says that my Carrier Info is now ATT on Fastboot Mode and when I turn on my Nexus S, I can't search for/connect to any networks. The updating process wiped my SD card so I don't appear to have any backups.
Is there anything you guys can do to help me out it would be greatly appreciated ? If this is posted in the wrong area I'll gladly post it on the right one.

Have corrupt recovery on 2.3

I have a Nexus S that is on 2.3 and it fails to update because I believe the recovery is corrupt so it will not do the OTA update. Is there a way to flash this back to stock with ODIN? This is the T-Mobile version and the bootloader is not locked. Everything still works we just can't update it. I have seen in another forum a way to update to 4.0.4 via ODIN but not sure if anyone has really tested that so I'd prefer to find one for 2.3.

If I can't get to fastboot how can I flash it and I don't want to unlock the bootloader also that's why I'm looking for a way via ODIN.
Post about your problems in the General section in future please.
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot oem lock
It's that easy.

Thanks, I guess what happens is when going to the bootloader menu and selecting recovery it just goes to a black screen so I'm hoping a fastboot flash recovery will work. I'm not sure on the exact version it's on but once I find out I'll find the proper recovery image.

Nexus 4 not turning on Bricked?

Hi
i installed mincos rom with franco kernel and in the extras section he had a zip which was a jellybean bootloader update anyway i flashed it and it failed so it didnt flash then i flashed codefire x rom and francos kernel and when clicking reboot the phone just went black and now wont turn on. any ideas would be appreciated
Bootloader update? Did you screw up your bootloader?
Did you wipe between ROM flashes?
If you're worried about the bootloader, download the img that is linked in the "Return to stock" thread link at the top of general and flash through fastboot.
yh bootloader has been erased therefore cannot access fastboot.

In need of assistance with 4.3 root

Hey there, I've recently made the purchase of a samsung galaxy S4 1337m
Once i got it home, the first thing i did was root it via Chainfires Root, and downloaded
rom manager, and installed CWM, and backed up my original OS with the original root
to a SD Card, once i did that I installed Odexed Andriod 4.3 for US and CAN, when i discovered
there was Chainsfire root guide for this version in particular, i tried to install it, what i did was attempt
to flash the latest root onto 4.3 via oden, after which i would flash the modded software to work for 4.3
however, in the process i ended up losing CWM, and the root all together, so i was wondering if anyone
was willing to lend me a hand getting the root onto my 4.3, so i can get my CWM back on.
Thanks!

I haven't used 4.3 but from what I've read I believe you just flash the .zip chainfire provided from recovery.
So now you will have to ODIN back to stock if you lost your recovery, re-root, install recovery (recommend TWRP instead), re-flash 4.3, flash the .zip provided from chainfire in his post here:

Do you know whether or not I'm able to re-flash with oden using the recovery created by CWM?
Or do i need to download the stock rom for my phone, which i imagine I would do a factory wipe
then boot into download mode then flash the stock rom?

The backup created from CWM should be a .zip that is flash-able only from recovery afaik. You will need your stock firmware .tar file and flash with ODIN. This is only if you surely cannot boot into recovery. If you manage to boot to CWM you can flash your backup of course.
Your STOCK firmware can be downloaded here:

Restore stock recovery

Hi Guys,
So I'd rooted the Nexus 4 by unlocking the bootloader and flashing the rooted kernel. I didn't flash a custom ROM after that. So what I had was a 4.2.2 Stock ROM with a rooted kernel so I could use the root functions. Now I get a system update notification after it downloads the new stock 4.3 on its own on my phone. But now since I don't have the stock recovery, selecting " Reboot and install update" after the system update downloads just leads me to the CWM recovery and obviously I don't have a custom update.zip to flash.
So my question is..How do I flash back the stock recovery and hence lose root and update to 4.3 without flashing the STOCK ROM back, thereby keeping my existing apps on 4.2.2. intact? So what I wanna do is flash the stock kernel which restores the stock recovery...Let the stock system update itself to 4.3 and then maybe Root the phone again..
Could someone kindly direct me to a solution?
Would appreciate a quick response
Cheers!
There's no way to restore to stock without wiping everything

Download the factory images, you can find stock recovery inside. Flash the recovery.img in bootloader mode.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Kernel and recovery is 2 separated partition in Nexus 4, so flashing kernel won't restore your recovery.

Hii, friends,
Is it possible to use the stock recovery 1.90.709.3 instead of 1.90.707.3 ??
If no, where can I find the stock recovery 1.90.707.3 ?
My phone bought from Malasia (but "Made is Taiwan" printed on the box) Model is HTC One M9 Plus...mid is: 0PK71000 and cid HTC__044
I'm afraid I flashed unsuitable twrp to my phone (TWRP 3.0.0-0 hima.img) and phone is stuck on the recovery mode at each time. This is why I think, I have to flash stock recovery again then flash the the uppropriate twrp.(If I find )
If some one help me I'll be appreciated
