[HELP] i have a problem with my blackstone unlocked

Hi
I buyed a htc touch hd like 2 month ago but last weekend didnt get any network so i turned it off and turned on again and nothing happend i left my cell on a store and they say that theres nothing to do
Can anyone help me they said that it could be a software problem with the unlock
is there anyway to check if the phone lost the unlocking soft or something
PLEASE HELP ME

try a hard reset if a soft reset does not fix it

sounds to me like a radio flashing went wrong

And what i can do in that case!

Did you try to install anything ?? or did you try to do any ROM upgrade (if you are familiar)
How did all these started ?? give us some details & we might be able to help you

Also can you turn phone on at all now? Can you enter bootloader screen? What does your SPL say?

You could always put your phone into bootloader and flash a radio

How can i do that

You flash a radio the same way you would flash a rom. First of all you need USPL or HSPL on your device. I recommend you read these threads for guidance:

1.14.25.24 & Rilphone.dll radio thread
Blackstone Radio Flashing (wiki)
Available Blackstone Radios
I would start with radio 1.14.25.24 as this is latest blackstone radio

You have a vast choice of roms to use, either stock roms direct from HTC site or from the wiki here or cooked roms from this forum
Would be impossible for me to recommend one as everyone is different and your tastes may well be different from mine. Also you have different windows versions, i.e. wm6.1 & wm6.5. All I can say is try a few and make your own conclusions. At present I am currently using Throys WM6.5 R9 rom

ok if I was your support guy for your problem I'd need more info like
1. What unlocking software and from where did you get it?
2. what network are you on?
3. where in the world are you? (geography can be a problem)
4. what rom did you flash to?
5. (this is where I check in 6.5) in settings, connections, connection setup what does it say?
6. in settings, phone information what model does it say you have ?
with luck giving us this info might give us an idea what has happened

The original one from HTC the last one(1.57.831.1) i tryed aother ones 2. but the problem started before i tryed to flash any rom for first time.

You may find that the phone is stolen and phone networks have blocked the IMEI Number this maybe why you donot have any reception
Try asking your Network phone company if this phone is blocked

I Already call and no its not blocked by imei

ok, when you changed rom did you use USPL or HSPL? What does your SPL say?

3G problem since I've installed radio 1.59 and over

Hi!
I've tried to install new ROM with win 6.5 few days ago. So I've update my radio rom at the same time with the version 1.59.46.12.
No problem with the installation, everything seems to work fine...
But since, I've got trouble with my 3G connection... If I stay in EDGE everything work fine, it connect to internet etc.
But as soon as I have an HSDPA connection, I lost network connection and I never get it again... I have to turn manually in GSM mode only to get a signal again...
I've tried radio 1.65.30.09 but it's the same thing and I've downgraded to the win 6.1 3Lit3 VIII and I've got the same
I don't know what to do... I've got the right radio version for the ROMs I've tried so I think it'll be stupid to try a 1.58xx or 1.64xx but I have no other idea :/ Maybe I'll tried this tonight but with no much hope...
I'll tried again with an other ROM too, but if you have an other idea, I'll take it...

Install your original rom and try again. Downgrade your radio first to 1.59.xx.

I've tried to reinstall my old ROM (win 6.1 by TranMinhMan) and the associated radio.
Same problem...
I've tried to reinstall the official HTC ROM... It's the same...
I don't know what to do... That sucks (a lot)

This is strange ..maybe your gsm provider has the problem..It happens some times.

Hum, yes but I've tried in different places and I have the problem for few days now It's a long time for a provider problem I think.
May the flash of the radio break something? Like the 3G receiver in the phone? :/ I don't know, I have no much knowledge in this domain...
Or maybe it's the sim card? I will try to find an other sim today to try with it...

Reinstalling the official ROM and associated radio of my provider (orange) doesn't change anything...
I think my device is really broken

I hope I'll found my guaranty papers...

I had exactly the same problem.
I'm sorry to say this, but the only way to fix it is by replacing the motherboard.
Don' t spend any more time flashing roms or radios, it's useless.
You should find those guaranty papers as soon as possible.
They replaced mine with no cost.
Remember to remove hard-spl and then
flash original rom before visitng service point !!

I'd like to add, the Polaris has a very weak gsm antenna. I've done a test, with all possible radios on my polaris i get max 3 bars and a GPRS icon. While on the exact same spot, when starting up my nokia 5800 XM gets full bars and 3.75G.

Absolutely NO data connection (umts) - What am I doing wrong? :(

Have you checked your APN settings? Google is your friend for finding the correct settings, and that's usually the culprit for no data.

If in doubt about APN's then delete them and restore from default (menu button) that works for me.
Mind you I still get annoying dropped connections all the time, but thats a know PPP(?) error.

Yes i´ve checked the APN settings...everything is correct here. One interesting point that I forgot to mention is the fact that according to the settingsmenu there is a connection...but neither browsing nor any other webbased application works.

im having the same issues as well tried. ive run madejee sense clean, and bluetopia roms and had the issue with both. apn is setup. data shows connection but will not connect to internet or anything

i just updated to the latest kernel
that seemed to help data

Data conection works for me only on HyperDroid 1.7 but battery drain in there is a big 'no no'

Did you set up Data Connection in Windows Mobile?
Are you in Flight Mode in Windows Mobile?
1st: Try to establish a data connection in Windows Mobile then boot your Android Device.
2nd: verify your APN settings in Android
3rd: don´t set the phone in Windows Mobile to flight mode.
4th: try a different Radio ROM

I just ran the FroYo 1.6.S3.1 build and I'm having the same issue.
This is the first build I've had a problem with, both Mdeejay_eVo and Mdeejay S4 worked fine.
Where can I dl the latest kernal?

I have have flashed a new Radio yesterday (2.15.50) and now I´ve realized, that I can´t set up a connection under WM as well! Now I´ve flashed on Duttys WM ROM...same issue, no Internet Connection.
Any ideas??

Same issue here... I tried the operator's settings but same and same issue always.... I'm on mdeejay revolution 1.6. I suppose nobody's got a fix ? =/

I dont know if that help but i think someone could check differences between Hyperdroid 1.7 build (or kernel inside) and for ex. CleanSense and S-type kernel from mdjs

I'm satisfied with stability (no issues except one I'm asking about).
But...
3G/Edge/anyInternetz just does not work... Checked the APN settings and they're the same as in WinMo (in WinMo this thingie DOES work).
maybe i'm Doin' something wrong: Disable wifi, enable data, enable 3G... It just does not connect, and, apparently when I try to use connection (being precise: the lack of it) somehow it says that there is no internet on the device.
The history was: winmo:3.14(rus)+latest radio+HypDr1.7->Chucky+L.R.+HypDr1.7 and I only used mobile internetz recently, because I tweaked this build over WiFi, and so forgot to check if it worked in any configuration
Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it because its only 1 thing in this cmbo that does not work (battery is fine and kernel terminated screen freezes), Thank YOU!!

must be a problem with Radio or wimo most builds have a stable 3g conecction im using phiremod with no 3g problems.
my Radio is 2_12_50_02_2 and wimo ChuckyDroidROM.

I used MDJ froyo sense clean some time earlier with 2.15 radio and it was fine =(

Does it connect at all, even for 2 seconds?
go to website of your carrier and get the settings.
If not, get back here - we sort it for you.

yea sounds like he may be using an RMNET build with Hastarin's Kernel which is PPP

1st: I've started playing with kernels and foundout that Hastarin 8.5.1 oldcam IS indeed (incompatible??) causing trouble with Internet
2nd:I went to the web site somewhere between 2nd or 3rd day of my soul searching But settings were the same, and i tried creating a new apn and setting it for default, and NO, It does NOT connect at all..
3rd: No, I haven't, will try, thanks
4th: Why is this an RMNET build if on its page it says: "Known Issues: Dropped Mobile Data Connections due to buggy PPP" then i'd assume it HAS the ppp and not RMNET, cuz this word was not found in this page by Opera

Tried this cmdline, stuck on the screen which shows up after "Jumping to kernel" and says guess what? "htc" Idk, but when i tried to change wifi mac with set cmdline "wifi.mac=12:34:56:78..." it did the same: never boot

[Q] How To Tell if Wifi Is Dead Or Dieing?

Hello XDA,
Love all the work that has been put into this site and the HD2, I've been a long time lurker and finally decided to make an account. I am having an issue with my wifi and it looks like it maybe hardware related but I am not sure how to confirm it.
My issue is when I try to connect to a network it will show my network but with only the circle of the WiFi icon lite up none of the bars ever light up anymore. When I connect to it, it will just go instantly to saved not in range, I have tried 3 different android ROM builds and I get the same message. 2 from nand, another from native sd. I have also tried installing the wifi fix (#9434#) that was mentioned on the nexus HD2 JellyBean 4.2.2 forum by tytung but no luck.
This all started when I was trying to install a new rom from my ics 4.04 nand install to a native sd rom setup but I had messed it up and accidentally removed cwr from nand. I eventually got it working and installed native sd but wifi wouldn't work so I reinstalled ics on nand thinking it was an issue with the rom but it also didn't work.
I am now running windows mobile 7.8 following the below guide and it is also only able to scan for the network but when it tries to connect it says the phone couldn't reach the wifi network, I am only a few steps away from the router. Its not my wifi because my laptop, ipad, iphone and I have tried it at work.

I have tried serach google, the forums youtube but no one has a similar issue that I have, I am not sure what else to do but it doesn't look like it is a software issue (assuming mengfei's guide wipes everything from nand). Is there any way to be sure and confirm it is a hardware issue? or could it just be the wifi chip's antenna?

HD2 t-mobile 1024 - bought refurbished from t-mobile 2011, working fine from day 1
OS - I tested on
Win 7.8 - Dynamics_HD2O_HD2_2_21_Eastern
Native SD - NexusHD2-JellyBean" android™ HD2 rom/build
NexusHD2 ICS CM9" android™ HD2 rom/build -
Wifi - wpa2-psk
Radio - 2.15.50
magdlr v1.13
Please let me know what you think and if I should buy a new wifi chip and replace it. Thanks in advanced for any info you guys can provide.

Hi! very sorry for your issue
I can suggest you to install again the radio, maybe your issue is related to it...
if it fails, try to install the latest stock rom and check if the wifi works with that...

Okay, I will try to re-install the radio again. Should I try a specific version? or stick with the 2.15.50 version. Also what do you mean stock rom? Do you mean windows mobile 6.5 or any Android build? Thanks for your reply.

Yes, try 2.15.50.14 radio.
And yes again, i mean 6.5 WM Stock rom.

I haven't had a chance to revert to stock 6.5 yet but I did try re flashing the radios 2.10.50 and 2.15.50 again and no luck. Also how can I check if the radio version changed? On the rainbow screen none of the values changed it was always,

Once you successfully flash without errors, the radio has changed. The values on the "rainbow" screen will not change unless you change your SPL.

I have downgraded down to win mobile 6.5 and I notice that it connects when I am right next to the wifi (changed power setting to best performance) but when I walk away or to another room I will lose the signal.
I believe this issue is due to the hardware maybe the antennaes are damaged? Unless there is anything else I can try I am going to look into buying a wifi chip and antennae set. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry doesn't change anything, and none of my other wifi devices are affected. I am now on android ics 4.0.4 ( NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA_V3.0) and it still has the same issue when I put the phone right next to my router it will have 2-3 bars but as I walk away it drops and then if I leave the room it will completely lose the signal while all my other wifi devices are working fine. I will be installing a native sd build soon and this pretty much leaves me with the conclusion that the antenna or chip is damaged some how.
Anyone know a good source to buy the chip? I am guessing ebay.

I remember dropping my phone a bunch of times, it is in a plastic case protector but it could be that my antenna got loose somehow.
