[NEWS] HTC HD2 ROM Update (GCC & Egypt) Release Date: 2010-08-15

Hi!
I just saw, that HTC relase new ROM for Egypt and GCC (whatever it is).
New ROM is relased in version 1.66.415.9
CHANGES:
This update includes new hotfixes as well as other hotfixes as of the release date of this ROM.
As always, HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience.

On the download page, to the right of the serial no. input box, you should have
"Where do I find the Product S/N?" label. Click it for instructions.

I think he wants someone else's S/N who has been able to download the ROM, so he can use that S/N too.

it's just for a few CEE countries and Greece, don't see any arabic ROM there

the ROM On this site (sunnysoft) is not match the ROM that this thread start for that ROM is for Europa and this ROM is for Asia.

I had uploaded the new rom.
I uploaded it to rapidshare

But there is one problem:

Since you are not doing spam, I doubt the MODs would get upset if you put the link but strategically put a couple of extra spaces in it - ie: ww w.rapid share. com/blahblahblah.html

Try to search for a serial for GCC & Egypt. Thats what I did. ROM seems to be okay. I don't really know what the changes are. I cam from 1.66.405 I think.

If any one has tried the ROM, let me know whether its in English with Arabic support or ONLY Arabic?

I need original ROM for my SNAP521 (model with TAB)
I try custom ROM's, but all are made from platform of DASH 3G.
My problem is with keyboard. They are mixed-up. I try also all ROM with UK, NL, WWE (official and unofficial) and i still have the same problem.
Please post here links with yours ORIGINAL ROM,s.

I try also this version. the problem is evrey time i instaled a cusom rom or a official rom i have the same problem: not correct keyboard layout. Can be from SPL?

If you want to send the device for support, go look for the "HTC RUU" (google it, or search for it on HTC's website). Basically it is an windows executable which returns your whole device to default (ROM, recovery and bootloader).
I guess this is what you want?

i know phone will return to default, but i need official frensh RUU, cause customer don't like custom RUU that's all.
and i can't download from official support cause i need SN from official Hero with frensh.

Guys, I am after the same thing as well but a WWE release. I restored it to version - RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.66_WWE_test_signed_NoDri ver.exe and the phone has gone to 1.5. How do I get the phone to get Android 2.1 ?

Looked around in settings...there's nothing like this....Saw Security - > Firmware Download but no option of 'Check update' :S

Nubia z17 & Archos Diamond Omega

Hi all,
I've discovered that in europe the Nubia z17 is called as Archos Diamond Omega.
I would like to know if someone can confirm me this, ad if the rom will be the same?

Yes the Archos Diamond Omega is the Nubia Z17s.
It should have an international rom pre-installed with google play etc.

This firmeware is compatible with the Nubia Z17?
Can we install it?

The Archos has the same hardware as the Nubia Z17s, which has a different resolution/display than the Z17..

I assume this is not the case.

This is the international firmware for Z17S with Google services.... NX595J_Z69_EN_VNG0N_V105... Not DE

These are the same devices if you have Z17S with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

No need twrp. Just download global rom and install it, it works perfectly for me, i just did it.

Any version is compatible. 1.06 is more stable

Hello, I have a version "Cn_Common_2.10" I received it originally with my z17s, by geekbuying. Is it better that I stay on this version? Knowing that I think that it is impossible for me to have the update in ÔTA because in the settings I do not know how to open the option ... If it is better that I change can you give a link (the others are dead ) Thank you.

HTC U Ultra with no English UK language selection

Hi all,
First post here so please be gentle. I have been an HTC fan for many years and I have just bought my wife and I each the U Ultra. I noticed in the language selection there is no UK English only US English. Our phones are the International dual sim version either Taiwan or Hong Kong, I am not entirely sure. Is there a way I can install UK English on to my phone? I have had the recent OTA Oreo update.

For now, these is no rom for you. If you can give me your phone's system dump, i can make a rooted version for you.

It is OK thanks, I have managed to get a fix.
I installed MoreLocale2, accessed usb debugging, ran a batch file to override permissions and selected the correct language region from the MoreLocale2 app list.
