New Rom... same like MiUi but i asure you it’s totally different ROM nor MIUI based - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Guys Dont think its miui based Rom or its jus Miui...!! i can assure its Totally different UI.. This Rom is called presently as DX ROM or DianXin Rom...
i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i asure you it’s totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification.
As with MIUI, it’s based in Asia, so the ROMs available to try currently still have some translation to go through and are only available on a couple of devices. Namely, the GSM and CDMA versions of the Samsung Galaxy S.
The people who are working on it currently are the aforementioned qtwrk on the GSM model and XDA Senior Member swamp goblin, who ported it to the CDMA version from qtwrk.
So far, these are the only two phones that we could find running the OS, which is reportedly only 3 weeks old. It can be expected to start making its way around the forums as people start warming up to the idea. In 6 months we could all be saying that development is not truly active until there’s CM, MIUI and DXOS are present.
If you have a Samsung Nexus S and want to check it out, or if you just wanna see what all the fuss is about, then you can head on over to the GSM Samsung Nexus S thread found here and the CDMA Samsung Nexus S thread found here. Inside these threads you’ll find download links, discussions, installation instructions, the all-important screen shots and additional information about this potentially awesome new Android-based OS. As per the norm, these ROMs are still in beta so exercise the usual caution when flashing (making a nandroid backup, etc).

lol this is completely off topic but i have bad experience with meizu...
LOL..
bought their mp3 meizu m3? i think that's what its called and it broke less than a month. it stopped playing music.
they refused to fix it, even though it should be fixed under warranty. said i have to pay shipping and send it to china and wait for WEEKS...worst...customer...service...EVER...
edit. and have to pay parts and labors as well...Why did they give me that piece of paper that says warranty...lol
I have searched the internet high and low and can't find a rom Dump with a boot.img in it.....
Some sites claimed to have a dump but the link was removed. We are gonna need a full ROM Dump with a boot.img to get a port going.
I've done the same, been trying to port it over and have the engineering build but I haven't made much progress.
At least you guys are trying ,but the Rom port is possible right

I know many people would enjoy this ROM, it's kind of like MIUI. The engineering rom was just recently released for the Meizu M9.
It can be downloaded here -

I also found this xip.bin + LBE_Android Folder (don't know if it's of any help or not): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NCZ8NKHB
I was hoping someone could try and port this to N1. It would definitely be a top ROM (I read that it support English by default, though i maybe wrong)

I would like too see a offcial rom, not some debranded provider ones
jvx and jvw are here now which is a 100% clean stock version
no pre rooted or other stuff
i highly doubt an ICS build from samsung since theyve already announced builds for galaxy s 2 and a few other devices but no mention about about galaxy s and if you are a true flashaholic flash CUSTOM ROMS also the onecosmic ICS AOSP build is much better with less bugs and faster in general
I don't think we 'll have ICS
I think that there wont come ics for gt9000. But try teamhacksungs ics mod. Pretty good now, love it

i would love to do this but for 4.0 i will wait till its developed all a little further and they fixed the hardware acceleration. and when all stuff works. ill do it.
but i have never flashed custom roms you need root and stuff and need to backup that uhmmm idk the name but the imei, but you need root for that.
i only flashed tons of stock roms. and i look forward in trying 4.0 soon is it already good enaf for fulltime use ?
Would love ICS from Samsung, but I'll settle for CM9..

[Q] Sense 3.6 or 4.0?

I'm not sure if i'll get flamed or if it's a newb question, but it seems like a valid one. I snooped around the DHD thread and noticed a couple of sense 3.6 and a new sense 4.0 rom. Could it be possible to port those over to our Glacier? With the permission of the rom developer of course?
I wish I had the now how or the skills but I dont :/
How many of these threads do we need? Come on people....but to answer your question...no...we need a base ROM to use to port it over. And then we'd have kernel issue....please read. There are multiple in threads in the General and Q&A. If you feel I flamed you, I didn't.
Well... I guess you didn't even bother reading my thread... -_-
Sense ICS discussion. It's in the general forum.
But anyway... It's a discussion for developers to chat about ICS Sense. The task is hard yes... But it's possible... And trust me... I and many others are working hard on this.
Please check that thread in the future for updates on our progress.

coming soon... from the monstrous virtuous team
Working on Affinity ICS
We are working on some new stuff for the msm7x devices. It is based on the latest Runnymede ICS leak and we are having already good progress. We could fix Wifi and Bluetooth. Only really open problem is the camera. And some other minor problems.
We hope that we can release a beta version very soon.

Hello all,
pls advise in case someone has automatic brightness issue on stable release
Seems that it is not adjusting brightness automatically, unless in direct sunlight.
in the dark environment, it keeps the latest brightness settings when switched to auto mode.
Thanks
I flashed CM7.2 and it's great but the battery...So i started looking for kernel and I found thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1489470
Happy new kernel weeee!!
The worst think is that the all roms now are ICS.It's good to have GB back online. And it's doesn't matter if we won't get JB any way

(Opinion) What's the best Custom ROM for the Redmi Note 2?

There's plenty available and I don't know which one to choose so a statistic pick might be my best option. I'm talking mostly about non-MIUI ROM's cause that's the kind of ROM I want, close to stock Android.
AOSP
Xiaomi.eu roms

If you want close to AOSP, try AOSP from vova.vafin... The best AOSP for Reno2
In my opinion, they're all pretty much the same as far as battery usage is concerned (which I believe is the main concern, regarding this device).
Some have a better camera, some have more stuff built-in, some are multilanguage and some aren't.
All in all, I like Bule's BlissPop (can't remember where I got it from), but mostly because I just like BlissPOP. Also, if you plan on getting an AOSP only to end up installing xposed, gravitybox, and a whole bunch of addons, might as well get a ROM that already has most of those addons...

Also pitching in for this one. I've tried one of the first AOSP posted here, the sSmooth one, but after a while it just ran crap. Went to global MIUI stable, for some reason the USB wouldn't interface with PC and finally ended up on this rom. Fastest by far. And I infinitely prefer it to MIUI. I've had a couple of soft resets, but nothing major.

Using build April 22. I always prefer original CM than others because it contains no craps no bloatware no Chinese/Russian non-translateable texts.
