How do I flash froyo beta with out root and clockworkmod???

Hello, I am not rooted and know nothing about clockworkmod. (I have tried rooting numerous times but no success. I'm thinking drivers) I would like to know if its possible to flash it with my epic being stock? I have searched and have turned no results about flashing it from stock. Everything refers to rooted. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yep install the apk, push root it reboots and you are done.

No but I am not sure if you can install it without a pc. Are you using the drivers from samsung?

Yes I downloaded samsung galaxy s drivers from here when I tried to root. Never for them to work even with 2 fresh installs. Thanks for the info on the z4root, by far the easiest and fastest way I've ever rooted before. But ya I have samsung drivers.

is it the same driver you get from the samsung website? You said you got them here so I am just checking cause I am not sure. I got mine right from the samsung website.

I am afraid I won't be any help there. I haven't flashed clockwork yet because I am not sure how easy it is to remove (noob) so I am waiting until Froyo releases. Unless I can't find an easy method to install it and uninstall it.

Any idea why when trying to flash the beta is says signature verification failed?

I just put the rom on by the name zapx rc2 for the droid x and the problem I have is with the stock rom it includes Verizon visual voicemail and I need that feature if I download the version that they have on the market it tells me to use the version that came with my phone so please tell me what to do I need this feature as soon as possible thanks tons foot any help!!!

Hey... you should prolly update to zapx 2.1 since rc just stands for release candidate... I think... so it might have some bugs... let me find the dev's website cuz I can't think of it and maybe you can email him to send you the Verizon .apk

That I do not know honestly...did you do a backup before you flashed the rom? If so restore that one with the app you want on it and download titanium backup and run a backup of all the apps... flash the new rom, download titanium backup from the market and restore the apps

Here's some info. It is not from the same rom but I'll bet it is the exact same problem...

Yes, you can download the VVM app, but it will not run unless you change the build.prop file as noted above. You will get a message saying that VVM is installed on your device, please uninstall the downloaded app.
To run the VVM app from the market, you must edit the build prop file:
Change:
ro.HorizontalVVM=True
To:
ro.HorizontalVVM=false
Once you edit the file, reboot and VVM will launch.

Adfree installation

Does anyone know a place I can go to get instructions on properly installing and running the app "adfree"? I tried downloading it once before and I can't get it to work properly. Thanks!

Yes, it clearly stated if you read about what was updated in the app that it was recommended to uninstall adsfree and then install latest version. I think people were complaining about java errors when just updating like normal.

My galaxy tab 10.1 doesn't seem to have Flash support. Whenever I access a flash site I am prompted to install it.

It isn't installed by default. Have you manually installed it from the market?
