[Q] can acces only to pink screen 8800pro - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

Can acces only to pink screen, on my 8800pro.
Any help how to fix it?

turn off your device, reboot into recovery with volume up + volume down + power button.
again you'll see a pink screen, connect your phone to computer while the screen is pink and you'll see a storage device in my computer.
it'll contain just the one folder "image", copy and replace the file named boot.img with the file in this link
/?d=M4N45AGZ (include megaupload url ahead as i havnt posted enough to post a complete url)
switch off
follow the same procedure this time to replace recovery.img with the file in the link
/?d=SDM8NREC
boot into cwm and then flash any rom from your sd card
Let me know if it helps

[Q] Bricked Tattoo?

I tried to root my Tattoo from this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=716282, i follow the manual mode. (Didnt create the Gold Card.)
But something got terrible wrong,i turned off my Tattoo and afterward it cannot boot. I downloaded the original rom CLICIMG_Click_TWM_TW_1.67.921.24_release_signed.zip rename it to CLICDIAG.zip, CLICDIAG.nbh then powered with "Vol down+Turn on" tried the recovery nothing
After the Tattoo screen when booting comes the picture of a sign of a question mark and the mobile.
Please help
I'm not sure but I think you should make GoldCard and then you can flash ROM from SD.
You only need another Android based device and your SD.
btw: I somewhere read that it is possible to create GoldCard using WM based device.
Do this and you will be back in the game
Small GUIDE:
1) Create GoldCard - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=716282
2) Download official ROM - don't know the link
3) Start the downloaded ROM, go to temp folder(C:\users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Temp) and find rom.zip
4) Copy rom.zip somewhere and exit the flash program
5) rename rom.zip to CLICIMG.zip
6) Copy CLICIMG.zip to root of your GoldCard
7) Start your phone with VOLUME DOWN + POWER button and GoldCard in
That should help you.

Don't worry, it happens...If you still can boot in bootloader mode(pink screen), just copy the following attached files in "image" folder:
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
After copying the files, try booting into recovery and install the Rom again.
Let me know how this goes...
The cust_image folder not exist. My phone don't have some folders...
I have created the folder and extracted the files into the folder but 0 results...
Regards
Sorry my bad english
Ok, let's start over.
Power off the phone, hold Vol+, Vol- and Power until the screen becomes pink. Plug the USB cable and browse the removable drive that just mounted. If it's empty, just create a folder called "image", inside this image folder, copy the 4 files I've uploaded and create another folder called "cust_data", which will be empty.
Now, take the battery out and put it back in. Hold Vol+ and Power and tell me if Recovery Mod boots properly.
Problem solved. CWM ok but oxygen don't works.
Void running now!
Great thanks
Is not may problem but it's very important. I bookmarked this thread.

[Q] flashing failed :/

I tried to flash my HTC HD2 with this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
after installing Hardspl 2.08 i used MAGLDR1.13
but now the phone just boots with white screen and HTC logo
i guess i forgot to install the radio?
but what now?
cant reach bootloader
just comes up for one second when i try hardreset
then asks for restoring to factory setting but that doesnt work neither
is it possible to autoflash with some sort of sd card
or do i have a chance to get at least usb connection up again ?
Thanks for help
edit
ive read that its possible to boot from sd card, using some sort of LEOIMG.nbh at root directory
extracted exe file and renamed "RUU_signed.nbh" to LEOIMG.nbh
ill try next step tommorow
gn8 ^^
You know the keys to get into bootloader isn't the same as for a hard reset, right?
Hold volume down only, tap and release power, release vol down only when stripey screen appears.
uhm, thanks ...
i swear it didnt work but for some reason now works
ive read in that guide
"3. Browse to the folder you extracted your NAND Android Package files to on your pc, right click on Run DAF.exe (or Install.exe if DAF.exe isnt present) and select Run as Administrator"
but in "Tyween's Typhoon CM7 v3.6.3" rom is neither daf or install.exe?
Do i have to launch magldr from pc and preload rom into it, befor transfering it into htc?
sorry ... im still confused
well okay i think i hav eto upload some files into it, but which? all of zip or do i have to upload the original zip?
inside that zip theres "boot, meta-inf and system"
Copy the whole zip to SD and install it from cwm.
ive done it, thanks

U8800Pro - Last russian ROM 2.3 (1C00B552CUSTC10D001) 2.6.35 kernel

link to the ROM on www.narod.ru. Type digit code, press "скачать", and have a link.
original post here.
If you have Android 2.2 on your phone:
1. Download the archive;
2. Create in the root of SD-card folder "dload";
3. Write to the new folder, all files from step1/dload (UPDATE.APP and UPDATE_g.APP);
4. Insert a memory card into the phone (if not already inserted) and pull out the battery;
5. Turn on the phone, holding down the volume up and down;
6. Once the firmware is installed, delete the folder dload all the files and write files from step2/dload;
7. Repeat the procedure for the folder step3/dload.
If you have Android 2.3 on your phone:
1. Download the archive;
2. Delete a file UPDATE.APP from folder step1/dload;
3. Rename a file UPDATE_g.APP to UPDATE.APP;
4. Create in the root of SD-card folder "dload";
5. Write to the new folder the renamed file UPDATE.APP from a folder step1/dload;
6. Insert a memory card into the phone (if not already inserted) and pull out the battery;
7. Turn on the phone, holding down the volume up and down;
8. Once the firmware is installed, delete the folder dload all the files and write files from step2/dload;
9. Repeat the procedure for the folder step3/dload.
* If any of the processes will not start - log-in and run the installation manual settings-memory-upgrade software.
* If some of the processes of updating the device hanging - wait 10 minutes then remove the battery. After 10 seconds, reinsert.
On my phone firmware write good. First run language is english, and you must manually configure APN.
any fixes???
Hi,
thank you very much for sharing this great news.
Anyway I would like to know if this new firmware is fixing the sdcard mount problem, the multitouch bug and the accelerometer.
Another thing: can you enter in pink screen mode with this new base-rom?

Unfortunately I no have information about any fixes.
Most likely, it`s the last firmware on 2.3, no more updates. OTA is not expected - install manually. About the ICS no any information yet.
First personal experience - a better camera and battery life. Still testing.

Thank you for the quick answer!
Since you are able to enter in pink screen mode, can you upload the original/stock boot.img?
I just extracted the rom from UPDATE_g.APP but I can only manage the system.img and the only way to extract the boot.img is the pink screen.
Thank you in advance!

This is a clear original ROM, no patch or root. I make standard root procedure, it's work.

B552 = B540 + Pink Screen Mode, nothing more
Ok, thank you always, but I flashed the update and copied the boot.img file through the pink screen.
The ROM has FPS limit and the compass mode in Google Maps Street View doesn't work, maybe with a reboot the compass mode will work fine.
The external sdcard is not correctly mounted after a full shutdown, so the bug persists still now.
The multitouch bug after the lockscreen is also in life...
Then I have a question: what did Huawei do on this new B552 base?
The only thing I see like a "news" is Google Music, nothing more.
I have a conclusion:
B552 = B540 + pink screen

downloading it now
tomorrow i will extract the zip and i will update to this stock firmware.
then i will copy the boot.img on my pc, i will extract the system.img from updata_g.app and i will cook the new version of my Countach
Hi Matteo,
yes, I did the same procedure, you can extract only system.img with dsixda kitchen, if you want boot.img you need to install with the dload folder procedure the original firmware and then put your U8800 Pro in pink screen mode.
If you trust in me, you can take my boot.img, it's the same of the original one but I only added root permission and init.d run-script.
Hoping to help, this is the file for you and other people:

Standard root:
1. Go to pink screen.
2. Replace original boot.img with patched, save original.
3. Reboot, wait when phone fully load .
4. Go to pink screen again and recover original boot.img, reboot.
5. When phone load wipe factory settings.
6. Done, your phone rooted.
For me it's work without problem.

pure
on SD card make directory named "dload"
copy the UPDATE_g.APP into (approx 370 MB)
rename the UPDATE_g.APP to UPDATE.APP
update via SD card update (no pinkscreen), but if you want, use pinkscreen, it is the same
immediately after first reboot, pull out the battery, insert the batt. go to pinkscreen, delete the ****ty cust.img, reboot and continue with installation.
you will get pure gingerbread without any customizations (yes, there is the huawei launcher and beyond the sky theme, i like it)
for root, oc, use geno´s boot.img, for HDR edit the build.prop
if you like huawei´s boot animation, copy it to system/media folder (files bootanimation.zip and bootanimationex.zip)
step 2 and step 3 is not needed
Missed call problem exist? When someone want's to call he heards that you are unavailable/not on network or the phone is turned off.

Crosscall Trekker M1 : No Update File on TFCard (Firmware's installation issues)

Hello everyone ! I hope you're all doing all right
I make a third post about my issues (and probably yours for those who have the same phone) on reinstalling the original firmware of my Crosscall Trekker M1.
My situation had evolved since the time I started making researchs on that phone.
For now I have the original Firmware and the method to install it.
There are the links of my 2 previous topics on that subject if you want to learn more :
HTML:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/apply-update-sdcard-failed-rooted-t3676453
HTML:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/crosscall-trekker-m1-how-to-reinstall-t3691514
(For thoses who want to have it, here's the link of the firmware)
HTML:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zpz2p0b75rlw1pl/LU652R%28HS-L635%29_L1185.6.02.00.EU00_MultiDownload_201601292005_user.tar.gz?dl=0
So it appears that I can reinstall the stock rom as an uptade with a sdcard by going on the Emergency Mode
(When the phone is power down : press volume buttons + & - and power button to go on the emergency mode)
The firmware at first is compress on a .tar.gz format.
When I extract the archive with 7zip, I got a i635.v1 file
I'm suppose to put it on the root of the sdcard to perform the installation.
So I formatted my sdcard and put the file on the root.
I put the sd card on the phone
Unfortunately for me when I start the phone on Emergency mode I have an error message:
No update file on TFcard
There are somes pictures that I took during that operation so you can see step by step :
My 32gb sd card just formatted
The contain of the ROM
Here you can see the extension of the i635.v1
Here you can see the ROM archive before I extracted it
This is when I launch the device on Recovery mode (by pressing Vol - and Power buttons)
This is what the Recovery mode looks like
The Rom appear on the Recovery mode
This is what appear when I launch the device on Emergency mode
And this is the error that I have
On an other tutorial who explain how to install the ROM with an sdcard,
I saw that the extension of the unzipped archive should be i635.v1.bin
Link of the tutorial mentionned
HTML:
http://forum.gsmdevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=8728
I started to think that my problem for now is the format of the ROM.
Maybe I need to convert it on .bin
Am I wrong ? Does someone got any more clues ?
I'll stay alert on the post and during the time I'll have an answer I wich you a nice day ! :good:
