It completely eliminates the need for SetCPU or Overclock Widget

It will set Max/Min CPU speed to 216MHz when a sleep
If SetCPU or Overclock Widget are detected, the script is ignored, so it will not affect them

1.2GHz(when OC kernel is available) - 100-90%
1.0GHz - 89-51%
912MHz - 50-16%
816MHz - 15-0%
v1.1
Switched to a tweaked stock TnT #16 kernel
Tweaked Battery Saver script

Awesome man
Nice...going to give this a try later tonight...been waiting for your release Glad to see you've come over to the gTab...love all of your prior work and I'm sure I'll love your gTab work. Thanks!
Just a quick question...since this is based on 3991, it's probably not going to need the TNT enhancement pack since VS incorporated most XDA gTab fixes in that release, right? Just a curiosity thing...I wasn't planning on installing it at first, but maybe later down the road to test...thanks for everything you do
Download complete. I hope you enjoy the beer, I know I will be when I sit down with a cold one tonight and give your handywork a runthrough. Thanks.
Wow, this rom sure looks tweaked. Ill try it for a while and see the benchmark and other things. XD
If mac address spoof is abled, it might be my new best rom. Tnx for all the work.
D/L right now ... Will install when off work
Thanks Calkulin
incredible rom. Very fast and also good looking. 2250 of benchmark which is very good.
Thanks Calkulin! Downloading and trying it now.
Downloading now.
so is it pretty? lol..
WOOHOO!!!
Glad to see you're developing ROMs for gTab!!
I love your work on the EVO!
Your Format All pkg makes my life soooo much easier!!
Will report back ASAP.
Thanks!
EDIT: Can't download, invalid file on Mediafire and same on Mega Upload???
Its a good rom, but titanium is not working with it, keeps fc.
There is a bug with the contacts also, it has some white lines under sme of them, if not most.

Calkulin from EVO? This has to be good Makes me want to try my luck on another Gtab.
Download sites show no files available?

can not down load
Well, aside from it powering down when I put it in sleep mode about an hour ago, very nice ROM...it's extremely responsive, snappy, and I love the boot animation, although it's kinda decieving, lol. You have a sort of honeycomb looking boot animation and even though I knew it wasn't honeycomb I started getting excited, lol. Great ROM yet again calkulin. Thanks

The das BAMF team is comprised of Trident, ThatDudeButch, Adrynalyne, and dsb9938. Thats not to minimize how many folks actually contribute to this project. We thank you ALL.
Please bear with us through some growing pains, as this is a major release and the different versions have to be created for it (remix). We are making a new thread because there is so much information to give out.
Presenting... das BAMF 1.7!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Screenshots:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features of 1.6
1.13.605.7 base
Debloated, which includes vzw framework, apps, games, libs, and permissions.
Tweaked filesystem and minfree.
Zipaligned (just once, not every boot, sorry), and deodexed. Odex and deodex perform the same after the first boot, when deodex roms get....odexed. This is merely to save space in /system and make tweaking easier.
Added Google Car Home, removed HTC car app.
HTC Hub and htcsense.com are partially working.
Removed Stocks widget, and app. Google has better apps for this anyway.
Superuser is fixed with rmk40's version, woot woot!
Our own busybox, version 1.19
Profile added to system/bin to help prevent certain malware.
Kernel has init.d support, as well as adb root, and usb debugging enabled on every boot (even from a wipe). Many optmizations, tun, cifs, nfs support. Overclocks to 1.5ghz. Undervolted from 1ghz and down. Stock voltage at 1.19, slightly overvolted past that.
Kernel will boot at 1036mhz! You must use setcpu to overclock, the kernel will not do it for you automatically.
Dusk theme from HTC Skin - "Dusk" Sense 2.5 (Z based ROMs) - xda-developers
No location indicator, thanks Bgill55!
No recent apps on notification bar. Inspired by http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1004975, using 1.12.605.9 framework, which appears to have quite a few fixes, at least in xml.

Final notes:
-Having issues with Gmail crashing? Please clear data and cache under settings > manage applications, gmail properties.
-Unexpected closing of browser is usually due to missing Flash.
-Call recording app will record continuously, every call, unless you turn it off in the call recording options.
-If call recording app does not start, uncheck call recording box, then recheck it.
-It may be ilegal in some states to record both sides of the conversation. Please observ local, and state laws.
-Debloat edition is probably even more basic than it was before, due to the tight integration of framework mods. This means no toolbox, no reboot options. Sorry
-Please don't ask me if you need to wipe. You do not need to wipe, unless you have problems. Thats my story and I am sticking to it. Do i recommend it? Yes. Do I require it? No.

Fixes, mostly.
Yay,
Toolkit looks sweet. Issues the people were having with 1.5 and the new radio- mostly gone?
Yay Trident Funny how I get 1.5 just setup perfect then this.
Hey Adrynalyne I can help you test stuff as I was Tridents tester dude for his old Ally ROM.
I also helped him test the Bamf Toolkit.
Will the desense script from the bamf remix thread work with this version?
Thx,
EDIT: Ran the desense script and everything's working great!

On a side note, has anyone figured out any work-around's to the new radio sucking on speed and having reboots?

Nice to see you here Trident ;-) Always loved what you did for the forums.
Can we, or even should we, flash the new radio with remix/desense 1.5? I just can't leave this rom just yet, the desense works wonders on my phone. Hopefully, soon we'll have all versions of 1.6.
Is there going to be a "debloated version" like 1.5 had? That'd be pretty awesome.
Thanks

Haha, line 2 of the OP. Yes, there will.
we dont need to hboot the radio again do we from 1.5 or is this a new radio?
Same radio. Only needs to be done once.
Someone was saying that 1.6 (pre-release) was a lot snappier than 1.5. I can confirm that 1.6 is SERIOUSLY far more snappier than 1.5, and I'm not even overclocked like I was on 1.5. WOW. A+ there. Really loving this. Thanks for your work guys!
Any way we can have quickoffice back as an addon? I need it for work and cant use google docs for it. Thanks in advance and I love your ROM
Hi all

Post the battery backup SCREENSHOTS... Bcoz ACE sucks out battery to the core... So how much hour u got the backup??
I read here on XDA that Lagree v3 8.5 and turbo boost were partially in conflict and that the cause of major problems were attributable to Lagfree that the third version had some problems (in fact it has been granted an alternative version to solve problems) .

Well I am personally using this ROM and had no problem till now. I too herd about these bugs but never found personally so added them. I will definitely take a look on the users using this ROM and their opinion on the same. If they find it buggy then will definitely change in upcoming version/update!
Why is it green in battery solve it bro I think a bug
Btw nice preserved for future use

LagfreeV3 is broken so never loads completely, all you are doing is wasting startup time using it. TB 8.5 is better written, but can install a broken version of sqlite3, breaking the command-line sqlite3 engine, so make sure you don't use the cwm zip but manually just install the scripts. LagfreeV3 has been fixed and optimised by g_BonE -- use that version if you are still desperate to put that script at least, but honestly if you take pride in your work, don't include broken scripts in your ROM (lots of ROM cookers here just include them because everyone else does, even though they are broken!)...

nope! it's not a bug. Actually when you get connected to internet via wifi/packet data the signal bars turns into blue to show the connectivity means you are connected successfully to the internet! I think it's the nice thing though!

LagfreeV3 is broken so never loads completely, all you are doing is wasting startup time using it. TB 8.5 is better written, but can install a broken version of sqlite3, breaking the command-line sqlite3 engine, so make sure you don't use the cwm zip but manually just install the scripts. Thanks a lot mate. I just want to know what exactly v3 gives errors? Because it's my 3rd day on this ROM and still no bugs.. I do heard about it's a buggy but never had any experience. Your help is much appreciated. I will definitely update my ROM if I get to know what are the actual bugs. Waiting for your reply!
LagfreeV3 doesn't make your phone buggy, but it will make your phone slower, trying to start a script that never starts and loop all the time, lol

From my understanding, a lot of the fixes implemented in lagfree v3 were redundancies and placebos. Gbone took what was beneficial and hashed out the redundancies creating a script that did something. Afaik, his script had a few problems due to the amount of lines on it that could boot creating a boot loop. Haven't followed it much but that's what I got out of it.

LOL!! not standby actually but you can say it's what I use my phone daily. Attached latest screenshots. My phone is always connected to my wifi network. I do chat on sms, wats app. Do and attend some calls daily. Hardly play games (not more that half hour and yes this consumes lot battery). Maybe "deep sleep" is the key to save the battery. Well maybe in your point I am a less mobile user because don't know how much others use but the battery is sufficient for users like me. The screenshots shows 17h backup and still 60% battery remaining. So maybe I can expect another 15-16 hrs.
Regards,
Adwait

Thanks for your suggestion .Well, Jusada's original is already a light weight. I listen to FM a lot and FM is most used feature in India, specially rural area where I live. So I have included FM in this ROM
Good work...

I know that there is a correct version of Lafree v.3 you can find here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529746
Hi everyone! I've created some patches, because with so many nightlies, many people like it tweaked, but they don't have a lot of time to do this. So those patches do all the work for you. Let me explain what which one does.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
All patches
Clean-up at the /data. Deletes some useless folders, like caches and temporary[which a lot are permanent, don't know why they still call them temporary...] crap [Examples: {/data}/tombstones; /anr; /system/dropbox]
Wipes /cache and dalvik-cache [Isn't needed, I will explain this later]
Install a simple blue bootanimation. Feel free to change it.
Install a ad-block hosts file. [Update it with AdAway]
Drag and drop some APKs to the /System/app folder at the ZIP to install they as a system app.
All ZIPs were zipped using 7zip at ultra mode, so they are very much compacted, so you can let it at your phone without having space problems.
None
Doesn't uninstall any app or files
Doesn't install Google Apps, as they are already backed-up and restored while flashing CM9
None and Tweaked
All features from the None
ThunderBolt! Scripts. More performance, more battery life.
I will try to put more tweaks, give me some ideas
Light
All features from the None and Tweaked
Removes a lot of files from the /system.
Examples of removed APKs: Apollo, ApplicationsProvider, Live wallpapers {except Phase Beam, it's awesome}. There's more and more deleted APKs, take a look at the script of the ZIP.
Examples of removed files: videos at /media/video, one init.d script [00banner], some other files.
Installs the full Google Apps [-faceunlock], since I've also deleted backuptools and addon.d files. Apps like Gmail, Maps, StreetView, YouTube, please install them from the Play Store.
Heavy
All features from the Light
Removes more and more files. [APKs: Email, Exchange, VideoEditor, DSPManager, and more. Files: also deletes the 90userinit]
Installs the minimal Google Apps. I've deleted some apps like Talk, Feedback, Backuptransport, ChromeBookmarkSync, TTS, VoiceSearch, QuickSearchBox, Geniewidget and more.]
The coolest one. The one I'm using, hehehe.

TIPS
How to install this? After installing Cyanogenmod9, install the patch you have downloaded. I recommend that at the first install of the patch you make a full wipe, just to let the phone cleaner with a new /system set.
For Cyanogenmod 9, I recommend you to use Fluxi's kernel. [LINK]
Some tweaks you can do on xxTweaker for Fluxi's kernel: I/O Scheduler: SIO; AFTR+LPA; Touch sensitivity presets: xxKernel Gingerbread; GPU: 160MHz/267MHz/267MHz.
ThunderBolt! scripts are included. Take a look at the thread and follow the instructions starting at the point 4. [PS: at the v1, they are at the 2.7.7 version of the scripts]
At ThunderBolt!'s thread, take a look at the LMK. Read the thread to know what is LMK and how to choose your version [I'm using the 60MB one]
If you have any idea to make those patches better, please tell me.
I didn't removed trebuchet. I think it's the best one, after some updates. It's smoother and lighter than Apex or Nova. Again, you can change that
Feel free to change the zip, and you can also customize them and send me here to put at this post I know it won't be what everyone wants it to be, since it can remove like one app that you like, so you can change it at the script of the ZIP.
More info about the deleted files, take a look at the update-script of the ZIPs.
- Changelog v2
x All: new Jelly Bean bootanimation + updated hosts file
x All - None: cleanup at ThunderBolt! scripts
x Light and Heavy: Trebuchet out, Apex 1.2.4 in Think it's okay now. + Updated Google Play [the new JB][auto-updated apk, not downloaded from other sources]
x Light: Removed 1-3 apks from Google Apps
DOWNLOADS - v2 [I've re-uploaded all versions on 06/July]
None
None and Tweaked
Light
Heavy
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
SUGGESTIONS [in general] [what kind of stuff I like]
- Homescreen [preview]: Fancy widgets app [free and pro] + Trebuchet launcher
- Theme: Flow
- Wallpaper
- Fluxi's kernel
- Google Chrome as browser
- MX Player for videos
- Friendcaster for Facebook
- If you didn't choose the heavy version of my patch, you may have the Advanced menu on the Settings. I recommend you to set the "Scenario" to "Camera". I think it's more friendly then the default "UI" mode.
- Learn more about "Advanced freeze" on ROM Toolbox. Cool app, I use it mostly to freeze some activities/services/receivers from some apps. [Like Maps, I can freeze activities to remove "places/latitude/navigator"]
Finally, i can now automate the procedure of cm9 nightly installations. Thanks alot!

Hehe. No problem. I'm trying to get my i9300, but I think I will stay on i9100 for a while. Where did you buy yours?
Well, someone have any ideas for me? I want to continue doing this... But with 1000 views of the thread and only 50 downloads total I don't see any point on keep working on it...
You need to give it more than a couple of days. Don't give up before you have started.
Good work by the way.
Thank you so much for the patches. I've always had trouble installing the thunderbolt scripts hehe and this just makes it all the easier.
So thank you and keep it up!!!

Thanks guys. If something is missing please tell me. I made this patch to make your CM9 update quicker, so you don't wipe data after cleaning stuff, and let things perfectly clean by wipping caches and crappy files. As soon as I can, I will transform this in something like a semi-ROM, by modding the original CM9, with apps, more tweaks
Congratulations marcelocord. I follow your posts for some time ago. Your information is of great importance to me. The patch will help many people. Thank you.

Used the none & tweaked version for now. Want to see if the Thunderbolt scripts have any effects!
Just letting yo know this works on the i9100G version as well. Just tested it without any errors
Great work mate!
Keep it going!

It will. Don't know if it's placebo but my phone is smoother. Zipalign, sqliteoptimize, use CFS script and remount script.
PS: Siyah already have the main script and remount, so if you are using Siyah, you may see no changes.
Im Using Fluxi

I don't know the mounting paths of the G version, but if it's the same as the international version, it will work.

So you are going to see some changes. Take some time to read the official thread,
Have done. Used the script manager as the installation instructions say to.
We have hit 134 downloads in total. Please, download, install and feedback [if possible also press thanks button, hehehe]
I have to admit something here. I dont know if it's the new fluxi kernel I have installed or it's your patch but closing of the app drawer during fast scrolling gives much higher FPS. So it's great man.
If you could include the google search in your heavy patch I would die happy...
Thanks so much for your work man.

Just extract the QuickSearchBox.apk from Google Apps and install as a user app And this higher FPS could be either fluxi's kernel, or thunderbolt! scripts [or both]
