I'm pretty sure it does too. I suppose you could easily edit the build.prop to show the Android version as 2.3.1

Yep you can definitely edit the build.prop to show this. Just look at my Android 3.0 DHD.

Likewise, but I find my electric razor's 'lil brush does wonders for removing the dust from nooks and crannys.

You could indeed, but when your a member of team cyanogen which kali is, and responsible for maintaining the desire and Desire HD builds would you? (original source http://twitter.com/#!/Kalozzo/status/16522866405154818)

That screenshot isn't from Kali.
Ok, I take it back, just done a little more digging.

Will this be available as an automatic system update or only as a custom ROM?

here is a link to a video of the review of the HTC Evo 3D and i couldnt help but notice how badass the new sense UI was with the endless cube screen switch animation, and the lockscreen and even some of the widgets.
IS THERE ANY WAY WE CAN PORT THIS UI OVER?!?!?!?

Yes, but i don't think many people are behind porting sense or willing to do it.
I know they guy who is working on MIUI is also working on sense.
This shouldv'e been in General IB4TM

I have just 3 things to say:
1. There is a Sense UI port under way if you had bothered to search.
2. This definitely doesn't belong in development.
3. Typing in all caps is incredibly annoying.

For one, the Sense UI has to be available to port first...the one from the EVO 3D isn't leaked yet

There will probably never be a official Sense 3.0 for the DHD, HTC has announced that a couple of times. However our devs here at the xda forum are infact working on a port to the DHD from a HTC Sensation leak. If you'd open your eyes you might notice that it's on the front page of xda and that there's a couple of threads about it in the development section.

So this Rom that been leaked, is it sense 3.0 I'm new to this nodding so that why the questions

Just a little humor Doing some researching before you post and even more if you start a new thread is highly appreciated. In this case the answer was on the frontpage of xda so I can't understand how one can miss it (and I even gave him a direct link)

That's amazing news. Can't wait to try it when it gets ported or a custom ROM gets released. Can't believe HTC wouldn't give us an update to sense 3.0, it's annoying with this being virtually a flagship device

[INFO][DEV][PORT] HTC Sense 4.0 by Coentje44 and QuBe2

Hey guys,
We have been working to port Sense 4.0 since the first RUU came out and in this thread we will show you the progress we make + photo's etc just to keep you updated.
How are we doing this?
-Use the latest HTC One X RUU as Rom base
-Latest CM9 nightly build for libraries, vendors etc..
-Modified CM9 kernel with HTC parts (bootclasspaths,mounts, etc), I compile a new kernel daily.
-Use our brains alot
So One X has a resolution of 1280x720 so we need to resize some apps but that's not so hard.
I will post in this thread daily with answers and that kind of shizzle.

This is so awesome! Is it possible for your team to write a guide on what exactly you did, or at least a deeper overview? The information on porting Sense/TouchWiz is dangerously sparse on the internet, so it doesn't really happen often.

@Coentje44 nice thing up there... But, its kinda funny... Why didnt you guys used One S RUU? One S has the same res as us... HDPI! lol

Coentje44, QuBe2 and I are working on a port to Galaxy S. We've tried the One S and that one won't boot, so please don't ask for it anymore. We'll post news when we have some.

Good customizable and stable sense rom

Hey ,
Now im running energy rom but i hate the theme it has wich cannot be altered somehow.
What is in your opinion the "best" sense 3.5 or 4.0 rom ? For a daily use.

The rom with sense 4 isn't stable and has many things not working. As for sense 3.5, it lags
I recommend androplus ultimate. Look in NAND section.
It has sense 2.0 but u can theme it like sense 3.5 even with the sense 3.5 lockscreen.

I too briefly used the Androplus ROM and found it to be a quality sense-based ROM. It sounds like it is what you are looking for based on your description. Good luck, I am certain you will find a solution in the NAND dev section that will make your leo fight...try them all!

I use TBD Sundawg's SENSE 3.5+ HTC ONE X TWEAKS TMO for daily use. Have tried the rest but this rom has caught me by surprise. Fast and great battery life.
