WM6.1 ROM (build 20275) is finally out for testing. The released ROM uses 12MB of pagepool. You would like the speed of this ROM. I had been making many Himalaya ROMs (see my signature). Though I had been making many Polaris ROMs also for my personal use, but this is my first public release. I am sure you all shall like it.
MAIN Feature:
This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. And most of all, the ROM has not been crippled against dumping by deleting IMGFS signatures. So feel free to dump and modify upto your taste. And share the knowledge with the community. We can improve more by sharing the knowledge than keeping it secret.

General Notes: (Please Read before updating)
- There is readme.rtf inside the package. Pl read ir carefully.
- Remove SD card before update!
- There is no Radio or extended rom... JUST OS!
- You MUST install HARD SPL before going over a custom ROM.
Installation:
Install HARD SPL
Put device in bootloader mode.

Sorry bro! it is WWE only at present. You can change the mui files and make it FRA.
I can change the language rom just with mui files? that method only works for apps not for the OS ?

I've flashed this ROM and I'm totally unable to type standard characters in "Notes" and in the Messaging Account Setup Wizard.
Sorry, but I will have to use another ROM. By the way, it comes with some tools that I find unnecessary.

Standard characters are coming fine in "Notes" on my polaris. see the thumbnail..
I will give this a shot. Just need to find that app list with most updated task manager and htc home!

ok 1 bug found is when your trying to change ringtones and notifications under settings>sounds and notifications, it wont allow any changes to any alert, infact if you try to ok out of the screen it even changes the ringtone from what was previously set by the install to the ring-WindowsMobile....???? and it will not allow you to exit that screen
i have uploaded your rom. so far there is a problem with writing sms text. numbers are working , but letters not. there is no phone keypad whilst in landscape mode, so i cant dial numbers at all. do you think you can fix it, and sent me link to fixed rom?

Shekhar, I don't know why it happens: each time I try to enter a character, sounds a beep (the one that sounds when you do something not allowed). I can enter spaces, carriage returns, accentuated chars, and symbols, but anyone from the latin alphabet.
This happens whatever the SIP is choosen.
I have never had a problem like this. Could it be because I flashed from the SD card? it's my first time.

This version include Mega manila, enhanced speed, bugs of vibration had been resolved.
Pressing for seconds on start menu bring ShowCase task manager.
Msgs are working in arabic and english writing using original opal keyboard.
Camera speed excellent, vedio speed good, java package updated, audio manage is working fine.
SIP enabled, press to most right middle of the keyboard icon for a while and it will bring u the SIP menu.
Also titanuim 7 within the rom now.
Google localization files had been removed for 2 reasons : Battery drain, also its always connected to gprs.

This rom is so close to the official.

In pictures and videos page, videos appears but unable to load, while through album they working fine.

I did not got your idea well, hence : Regional settings already have romania settings, unless you mean (Keyboard with romanian language, if this it will be easy), but if u mean whole translation, execuse me brother, then u have to give me sometime to find in other forums that localization for Romanian Language.

At Regional Settings - Region (meniu) there is no Romania to select. Or maybe you can cook Asia_WWE_1.27.707.1 exacly as you did with the arabic version.

It felt a bit bloated to me (too many programs), but that's something I could live with. However, my issue is that this rom have the exact same bug as XirXes roms, if I turn off wifi then reset the device, comm manager refuses to work.

Dear Pal,
I had edition 1.27.416.3, I am working with wifi most of time, and dont have any problem, comm manager is working great, try to do hard reset, then re configure the phone again, either i did not do it till this moment, but may be it needs that. Tell me: did u install any program that controls bluetooh or wife!
By the way: these editions are battery save more than official versions.

I didn't install anything, all I did was this:
When the device first booted after flashing and customization wifi was on, I turned it off and did a reset. When the device was back on, I tried opening comm manager and it didn't work.
Either way, I'm currently flashing this rom again. I'll try again and tell you what I find.
Perhaps you could include this cab or something similar in you next rom? My network settings (and many others) aren't included in the "HTC Connection Setup" version you're using.

Bro,

This cab is not compatible with Viva, or at least its not working, if u r using it, then remove it. Also kindly advise what other cabs not included in roms.

You're right, it's working okay this time. I'm not sure what happened the first time.
That cab worked just fine for me
Normally, the device says it couldn't find my network in the database, I installed that cab and my network was automatically recognized and configured. And it doesn't seem to affect anything else.
Still, now that my connection is set up, I'll remove it anyway.
And I'll need to get back to you later about missing apps, once I use the rom a bit longer. Although my first impression was that there were too many apps, but I'm a minimalist guy so what goes for me doesn't go for everyone.

Will prevent the SOD and will lead to a excellent optimized Rom flash. When the utility flash is 97% complete, press the down volume key to get boot screen. If you miss that. Then turn off the phone and press the volume key and reset button together to get boot screen.
* Now connect your phone with USB to computer and flash Sillian OS using custom ROM update utility..and enjoy...
* You need to install a compatible "radio" firmware that works with this ROM. The radios that work with this ROM all have ".50" in their name.

* Sillian OS is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner. This firmware uses the same stock system that came with your device. It is derived from the core system 21915.

Yes sir, the base of slider and the digital clock is yours...Thank you and full credit goes to you for those two....I did modifications to some icons in the slider though, when you click on an icon they are not colored like in your slider but black and white....Given you credit on first post for digital clock on home screen and for slider icons......

Dear all,
Sorry to tell you but this rom project is retired as Windows Mobile is dead and I recently moved to another device.
It has been fun here and thank you for all the support (especially my friends in beta team) but it's time to move on.
It finally happened, I bought a beautifull HTC One X, so I moved to Android OS.
I hope to see you again on the other side.

Translated and ported 90 % applications from Chinees HTC Oboe 1.18 stock rom.
Other sources used are HTC Photon and HTC Rhodium stock roms and offcource Leo ;-)
Most Applications are supported by landscape inclusive the dialer.
The dialer is unique and you even won't find full rotation support on HD2 stock roms.
All HD2 stock roms the dialer lags on incoming call and rotate back to landscape automatic.
This is pretty anoying if you have navigation running in the car.
The dialer included in rom is patched and you can call and receive your calls perfect in landscape.
I like to give a special thanks to Cracing and Ultrashot and all other people HERE for the help on fixing the dialer.

A few need to knows:
If you use the roms we highly appriciate your feedback and thank you, it keeps us going.
Before you decide to report a bug, keep in mind that the more you tell about your configuration (think about software, software version, tweaks, radio etc)
the faster we are able to analyse and help you.
The roms contain the latest applications and drivers, before installing a application please check the developers website of the software you are using if no updates are available.
Installing a hotfix from HTC isn't necassary as we keep everything up to date, if a hotfix is needed we will tell you.
If you like to install applications you don't know it's better to do it one by one and test for a short period if the application doesn't create errors.
The rom comes with most features you need preïnstalled, right after flashing we recommend you to use the rom for a day or two and explore the features before you install any application.
This will give you a clear view about which applications are present and if everything is working as it should.
HSPL 3.03 doesn't support the 576 MB ram tweak enabled in rom, so please use the recommended HSPL SPL 2.08 if you want to benefit whole memory.

This source is original Chinees and manual translated by me into the other languages.
Other sources I use are coming from latest HD2 HTC 3.14 stock roms available in more languages.
Sys builds after 23148 like 23157, 23158, 23160, 23161 I can't find anywhere on the internet and I have my doubts if they are authentic.

ROMFLASH INSTRUCTIONS:
Please remember that flashing a rom removes all data from memory and set your phone to 'factory' default.
Before you start you must make sure that you have a backup of your phone data like contacts/agenda/photos/bookmarks/ etc.

All the roms I've packed with 7zip , you need to install this program first on your pc in order to unpack the rom.
In the folder you unpacked are 2 files:
* CustomRUU.exe
* RUU_Signed_0409.nbh (depending on the language you choose for download)
Important: in order to flash the rom to your device you must use HSPL3 and flash SPL 2.08 HSPL first.
More info and download you can find > HERE < thanks to by Bepe and Cotulla from DarkForces Team @ XDA-Developers.
You can find earlier HSPL2 with more instructions how to flash HERE at XDA-Developers
After you flashed first 2.08 HSPL as suggested above you can place the device in bootloader.
To do this, switch off the device and press volume down button plus the call ignore hardware button at the same time.
You will see a four coloured screen and at the top it must say following:
SPL-2.08.HSPL

* If you don't see this info you did something wrong and you must go back to first step about HSPL described above and try again.
If you're sure this is ok you can connect your device to pc and run
CustomRUU.exe
Follow the instructions on screen.
When the flash is started don't touch the device and let it finish.
If you are a romflash aholic (flash many roms ) I suggest a hardreset one more time after flash is done.
Is the rom still not performing good and do you have ORD (obsessive rom flashing disorder)?
Then we recommend you to use Advanced ROM Update Utility by Barin for Leo HD2 HERE
Enjoy the roms.

i will say Thank You from the CHT Team side that we was able to help out and bring in things that helps to perform the CHT Suite for now and the future. After so many tests with this excelent Rom, i have learned a lot of cooking. Not all, because you are the Chef de la Platinum creám.
I will also say Thank You to your Team for this excelent work together. I hope we can do this once again.
CHT things: the Rom version with the RSS Reader on the Home Tab is the right one for CHT. Because we need this stuff for the newest widget what will be come in the next few days. This RSS Reader is fasdter then all the others i have tested the last few month, so let us hope that the widget will be a runner .

Believe me, waiting is worth it. The test ROM was great, performed super. Very fast, stable and operational. I fell in love with it from the very first test
@Leo and Beta Team Members, it was a pleassure and honour working with all of you on this outstanding ROMs. I really enjoyed beeing a member of the Team and would like to thank you all for the things you taught and showed me. It´s been very rewarding to see how this ROM has "evolved" from scratch - all the hard work and tweaking that went into it, and also how the "chef" (Leo) took into consideration all the reports and even sometimes our "silly" suggestions
For me, this has been a wonderfull example of the xda spirit and also the great people and their attitudes involved in the process. Hughe THUMBS UP for all of you...
This ROM is simply awesome - the "perfect" stock-like ROM, with a tremendous potetial for personalizing since it´s very reliable and so full of possibilities. Hi Ber,
it is not alone my work. The first honor goes to slabbi. I have only fixed the whole stuff for a better and faster working process (if/else/end).
And yes there will be tool shortly, to change the colors and possible also the graphics (day in month view) around the calendar tab. I have made my first tests, but with all this calling around skype, there was not enough time to have it ready together with the rom .

Kitchen isn't available yet (read first post). I just can't upload everything in one moment. Simple maths:
2 devices
3 langs
2 WM builds
4 manila variations (No manila, TF3D 2.1, Sense 2.1, Sense 2.5)
I will not upload Manila variations for Leo.
So, 2 * 3 * 2 * 4 - 1 * 3 * 2 * 2 = 48 - 12 = 36 roms. Plus kitchen. Pretty hugh amount for my internet speed I should say

I am very curious about that, maybe I can rescue my forgotten mega
I have been developing in oskitchen for about a year now and development on it seems to have stopped! I had a look at osBuilder and it seems be a bit mad! I might make the desision to move accross to it on my next build!
Welcome ultrashot on the HD2 thread. Finally! I have been using your rom when I still have my x1 and I can say it was the best rom ever. I know you can also bring it here on the HD2 thread.
added a very little localization fix for WWE and RUS roms.
Kitchen is ready. Use the same links to download it.
Summary:
Two the most stable OS releases: WM6.5 21913 and 6.5.3 21690 with all fixes for compatibility.
Two devices: Kovsky (SE X1) and Leo (HD2).
Three manila versions: TF3D 2.1, Manila 2.1, Manila 2.5 - select any or none of them.
Customized & unique driver set.
The best virtual memory layout (for both devices!).
All existing performance tweaks incorporated. Better to say - all my latest tweaks and advices were tested in this kitchen first
Don't forget to check terms of use in readme.

ok, thanks, I just notice there are a lot of apps removed, like compass, google maps etc. are you putting those back once you update your roms?
