Galaxy Tab Newton Rings - Galaxy Tab General

I wanna buy a Galaxy Tab 10.1 or 8.9. Is the Problem still alive.
Is there a problem with the Galaxy Tab 8.9 too? Does have the Galaxy Tab 10.1N (7501) the same problem?
Please help.
Thanks

This is not the forum for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or 8.9. That forum is here. Please post your question in that forum and check where you are posting in future.

I could have sworn there was a thread here for the 7.7 Tab....

But I can't find it.
From what I've managed to read....
The 7.7 will have the same CPU as the Galaxy S2 but running at 1.4Ghz, will have a 1280x800 screen and will be able to make Voice Calls (well the non US version will be able to at least).
Does anyone have any hard info/rumours on pricing and release dates yet....I'm not sure whether to wait for the 7.7 or get a GNote and some glasses!!

To find old threads like the Galaxy Tab 7.7 thread which features all the specs and details known to date, try using the forum search.
EDIT: Found it here on page 3 of the search.
I did, the search didn't find the thread.
Weird, I just searched galaxy tab 7.7 from the Search this forum button (just in Galaxy Tab General) and got pages and pages of results. Bizarre.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Phone App

Hi all,
I don't think anyone has mentioned this but when I was at Mobile World Congress a few weeks back I had a look at the new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and was very underwhelmed by it all......well apart from one thing! The 3G version now has a phone app built in and I asked the sales rep on the day was it hardware based solely or software based? He was unable to confirm which it was but I am wondering if it's software do you think there is a change of it being ported to the original 3G Galaxy Tab 10.1? You can clearly see the shortcut for the app in the attached picture (lower left). Now I know it would not be ideal for having a phone conversation on but it's still interesting all the same!
Cheers,
M
PS: A quick Google on this does not throw up much at all which is strange that none of the tech sites have picked up on it.

That's because it's not a "galaxy tab 2 10.1." It's called the "galaxy note 10.1." You might edit your title so you don't confuse other people who also didn't do the research.
there are 2 new galaxy tab. galaxy note 10.1 and galaxy tab 2 also 10.1. if somebody get tab2 firmware we can try.

Answer from Samsung:
Samsung Mobile Canada ‎Jonathan Garisto It is definitely on its way for your Tab! Thanks for being patient!
again, no date provided as of yet.
There is already a thread for exactly this, you should add the news there so we don't have multiple threads with the same info. but yeah, the other one does need some cleaning up.

So basically, you wanted to start a thread, in a forum (which is designed to hold discussion) then tell us we can't discuss anything in it? I think you might have this place confused with an RSS feed.

If it gets too far out-of-hand, I'll lock it.
A small amount of cleaning up is ok but I'm not going to waste my time on a lost cause.
Frankly, you'd be far better off using the wiki for stuff like this.

You have the 2012 version of the Note 10.1. It has nothing in common with the device this forum's dedicated to - the Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Here's your forum...

Hey Barry, I really thank you for replying so quickly. I was totally under the impression that I had bought the newest version. I took that tablet back, and went to BestBuy and bought the tablet I thought I had (minus the 4G Lte). Thanks bro:good:
