Here's what could maybe help you
take ur battery out put it back in press the red soft reset button to switch it on
hold down the volume key while it switches on it'll get you to the tricolour boot loader
flash the wm6.5 RUU
after that all done ! u could maybe use roms from your sd card
but i believe that you are wanting to flash a NAND rom right ?

dude i know how to flash a rom...
i had once opened my phone and accidently broke the cable that connect the front hardware keys...so they are not working...
so was wondering if clk could flash a rom without using any of the keys using fastboot

Fastboot is initiated in default if cwm is not installed.
But the question is, how to go into cwm if the "Home" button is not working ?

Exactly...fastboot is default...i will be able to intall cwm without any hardware keys...but wont be able to do anything from there....if once im able to install a rom then i can install rom manager and change roms...and probaly even install cwm from there....but to flash the first rom is the question....
will i be able to flash a rom using fastboot without cwm??? using a adb or someting..??

Atleast if someone could tell me if we can flash a rom using the clk fastboot directly without using the clockwork recovery

Idk about whether the HD2 will work with this or not, but a quick google search showed this up:
http://www.firstdroid.com/tutorials...pphire-guias/how-to-load-a-rom-with-fastboot/
As an HD2 owner, you are to start from step7 immediately.
Again, I doubt this will work.

... But I think original problem was how to get fastboot mode without HW keys? After that flashing a rom is possible.

HI,
Is there a way to flash the new roms without the Volume rocker working. My phone was all good till i dropped it and the volume rocker has stopped working.
I ask tot he super minds...Is there a way to flash a rom if ones volume rocker is not working?
I looked at the ROM thread for WP7 and at one point you have to chose USB flasher via the volume key. If thats true and there is no other way then i cant instal WP7 ever..
************sigh**********
PLS help
EDIT:--- Now i am dead... installed radio....installed magldr and now cant select usb flasher mode. Damn.
Pls help
i dont think there is a way without volume down key...
How can i boot directly into boot loader without volume key??
has to be a workaround with all the smart ppl here.
XDA rulezzzzz....someone help me
if you don't have volume keys, you won't be able to change the volume in win phone :L
LOL
will do it via system sounds.....
BUT PLSSSS someone help me instal WP& without the volume rocker working

Installed magldr and now ant choose the USB flasher mood.
Pls someone help me to get back or get forward...
or am i bricked?
Really worried
You need Enter boot software.
My friend Spike advised it to me long time ago so all credits go to him for finding it.
http://www.google.nl/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=htc+enter+boot+cab
Edit, but if you try WP7 you need to realise Enter boot won't work there so you can't go back.
Better to fix the volume keys.

Thanks for that.
The only problem is that he's already installed magldr and AFAIK there's no way to get back to WM to run the cab, unless you know of a way back that doesn't involve using the vol keys?
You need an electronics dude (like me) or some experience on how-to de-assemble at least phones anyway if you succeed on de-assembling the phone all you have to do is using a tiny pin plug it inside the volume controls you should be able to press the pcb push button and not the outside plugin
If you cant do all of this ask a friend of yours (electronics) or take to phone shop hell do it for you in exactly 30 secs
no way ...
There no way to flash WP7 without volume key ... Many rom or tool offer you
the possibility to enter directly in bootloader but after flashed MagLdr you will be stuck because you will be unable to enter in MagLdr and unable to scroll down to choice 5 (usb flash). i know it because i have the same problem ....

[Q] Volume Buttons Rooting Problem

Hi,
I know I'm new but hear me out
I own an HTC Wildfire and I'm trying to root it so I can update to either Froyo or Gingerbread, but the problem is I'm unable to use the Unrevoked method because my volume buttons are broken and they are required to make selections on the boot loader screen. Could someone tell me if there is any way in which I can root my phone and load a custom ROM onto it without needing the volume buttons to work? I can't seem to be able to fix them so I have no other alternative
Many thanks in advance!
Jack.
I am really not aware of any alternative. The Volume and the Power Key is required on the HBOOT Menu, because, apart from these 2 keys, no other keystroke is recognized on that menu.
Try trackpad and power.

Hmm.. wildfire hasn't been out for too long maybe you're under warranty and can get it fixed.
I think when I rooted my wildfire all I need was the Android driver and do the volume and power then connected to the pc to get the usb recovery and unrevoked did the rest.
Edit: have tried the trackpad and power and it does work taking you to fastboot and bootloader is available from there. So you're saved. Credit to previous post ^.

My problem isn't that I can't get onto the bootloader menu, it automatically loads when I plug it in with unrevoked. My problem is that I can't select recovery when the bootloader menu actually loads because I'm unable to use the volume keys in order to scroll down to it. So unless I'm missing something that you've told me, that doesn't solve my problem :\
EDIT: Okay, my phone is rooted now, the problem now is that I cannot select recovery in order to flash a custom ROM because I cannot scroll down to it. Any advice?
Get ROM Manager and use it's "Restart in Recovery" Feature?
You dont need the volume buttons in the recovery.you can use the track pad in the recovery. But the volume keys are needed in the hboot menu to select recovery l. I think there is no alternative. If your phone is still under warranty I recommend you flash a ruu. And give it for repair. Dont forget to tell them not to update your phone to froyo. I think you know the reason
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I got ROM manager and I'm now running Cyanogen 6.1.0, I'm just having problems with the market app now. I've installed Gapps and whenever I open the market it just closes straight away. I'll try and fix it myself but if anyone can offer help than that'd be cool!
Check Sympnotic's Patched Market Thread, Try Removing the Market using the Market Remover and install again.

Check if your volume keys are working in clockworkmod, and if they are, flash a ROM of your choice.

If your volume keys do not work, download the image of a touchscreen-based recovery and flash it using flash_image in ADB or Terminal. (flash_image recovery <file-name>
You can reboot to recovery if your ROM supports that as an option in the reboot menu, or through adb command (reboot recovery)
can u suggest a touch screen recovery program ?

Look in the NAND section for clockworkmod based touch recovery. I remember seeing someone releasing it a while back.

Did you do anything to the phone that might of caused it to stop working? On mine i opened it and saw that the button on the ribbon that's pressed by the key was moved and it wasn't pressing it (Had to put a tiny piece of foil and tape). When you press it do you feel it kind of click or it doesn't feel like its pressing the button?
the buttons seems to be pressing down ok im just looking everywhere to try a find a solution

To master reset you have to go into recovery

you are pretty much stuck right where you are, unless you just happen to be running cLK with a touch recovery, and if you aren't already running cLK and touch recovery, you can't get them, because you need the volume buttons to install them.
Isnt there a PC program that i can use to install Andorid from the computer or any app that can map volume buttons to some of the hardware buttons on HD2?

There's always SD Android. I don't think it's possible to do much without working volume buttons.
Can i use both NAND and SD Andorid? How will choose which one to boot first?
Wait, sorry I didn't read the OP properly, you're already on NAND Android right? If so, then you're stuck on that ROM, SD Android requires power buttons when in MAGLDR.
use hd2 toolkit install clk and then over the hd2 toolkit touch recovery. use backbutton to boot into recovery.

oh sorry you need the volume buttons...
if you have something for trade we can trade http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860554.

Try this, see if it may help. What happens when you boot your device, or when you go to bootloader?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/nexus-4-bootloader-collection-t2105983
You can flash stock android but you would have to go to bootloader and flash stock image available from:

Are you sure about your buttons is working? (I'm saying it because my volume buttons broken and I didn't noted it, thought was a rom problem and was trying to go to the bootloader).
Also you can try to recognize it in adb or fastboot and boot into a recovery mode or bootloader.

Hou Can I Try to recognize it in adb or fastbook?
It is with TWRP
Connect the phone to a win7 computer. Does a device appear in device manager with the qhusb_bulk or something like that? If it does, the phone is hard bricked.
To get into fastboot, press volume up, volume down, and power button.
