I was on KI4 and I didn't loose anything when I flashed this.
This Rom has a lot of French apps preinstalled, but they can all be safely uninstalled.

How long should the ODIN download take? I've been watching it for well over 1/2 hour and am getting concerned.
EDIT: OK -- problem solved. But I'm not very happy with the Orange logo and all the French apps that I can't seem to erase -- going back to my Overcome 1.2
Can i flash by odin?

Once you reroot the HC 3.2 ROM, you can remove the Orange Apps.
Flash over XKI5 Asian ROM. All my downloaded apps and data is working fine without wipe.

For removing Orange apps, just unistall them with Titanium backup for instance.
For the logo, there are 3 files to remove using Root Explorer :
In folder \System\Media\ - remove bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg
In folder \System\Media\Video\Shutdown\ - remove shutdown.qmg
In folder \System\Etc\ - remove PowerOn.ogg
Or to remove apps, just need Root and RootExplorer
Orange apps are located in /System/App folder

Guys, I need help here, I was checking a "return to stock firmware" guide to make sure I can return to my stock JPF before trying Darky's ROM.
I downloaded my JPF ROM (Arabic) from several sources and it only contains the ROM and the modem, no CSC file, and as I understand I will need this file when flashing the stock firmware again, but I searched everywhere and I can't find it.
Please tell me what to do.
You can find a CWM Flashable .zip file of JPF CSC in my ROM Thread, ADDONS SECTION!

- Go to recovery make a backup
- Flash the CSC
- Reboot into recovery again and restore backup
Is this correct? Would you know by any chance where could I get the file that I can flash through ODIN when I am restoring the ROM?

You could just use darkys OdIN Rom, there is no need to flash back to original fw, no-one has stock fw on his sgs, even a girl I know has JPY

I need to be able to get back to my stock ROM in case I face any issues with Darky's ROM because it works without a hitch, has good battery life and more importantly it has Arabic interface and Arabic Swype keyboards.
And by the way, the girl comment is not really smart. :/

If you already have root, this update will work ... but under CWM will not work.

Is the Stock Recovery from KPN or any other 2.3.3 that much different from the KPO one ? Would it perhaps even be possible to flash this Stock Recovery on any 2.3.3 ?
Edit: Well i took my chances and just flashed the Stock Recovery on my 2.3.3 KPN. It worked. So if you you need a Stock Recovery you can use this one.

This rom was made by Mvhla who is a chinese rom maker. This rom was first released at 52samsung.com. The newest version is 8.91
This rom has multi-windows cracked/playstore added/3 languages only.
This rom has an issue that changing battery might lead to bootloop. Powering off the note correctly and waiting a minute before replacing the battery everytime would solve this issue.
The intallation is in chinese.
BTW, Hongkong has a new leak.

With this new rom rooting are lost, Philz patches do not work and neither did the "exploit" have corrected the problems of the Exynos, surely there replace the package "code tar.md5 ......." (odin) the "boot.bin" rooting able to use this rom., I'm back to rooting for xxlsa again.

Okay i managed to install an OS. Unfortunatley it' from a Provider wich comes with many crap... On Sammobile i only found stuff from providers for germany... Does anyopne have a flashable "clean" rom?

Is there a way to flash any kind of working 5.0.2 ROM on my A300FU without ODIN? Somehow I managed to erase the OS without backing it up first.. (I know.. i know...)

No problem if it's for France, the drivers are the same... Try to wipe data and cache from recovery first, and then reboot in download an reflash.
On wednesay i'll be back home with access to pc and send u Croatia version if still needed.
