Don't envy us too much. To get this deal you usually have to camp out in the cold most of the night and wait in a huge line for tickets to be handed out (# tickets = # items in stock) and then hope you are close enough in line to get a ticket for the item you want. I used to work at Best Buy back when I was much younger and these "Black Friday" deal days were fricken insane. People dang near killing each other for a few bucks (and in some cases actually killing each other by trampling people to death, etc).
Personally I will probably never get a "door buster" deal because I value my time and health. Getting the flu and freezing my arse off for X hours in the cold just isn't worth it.

Price is right but I wouldn't bother if I'd be a meat popsickle AND they would be sold out by the time I got there, lol. I don't hit BestBuy with sales in mind so much as check the local stock before ordering somewhere online.

um, can you buy it now or within whatever the refund period is for best buy and then walk in on black friday and get a price adjustment or just return it and rebuy it?
250 bucks less than prime is awfully tempting but i'm still going to go with the prime.

Nope. Not unless they changed the rules. The price is only valid on the products in the store that are sold as this door buster promotion. (granted my knowledge comes from some 15 years ago)

So I'm guessing that selling my rootable TF for 300 is out of the question now?

I am always amazed at how much people sell and buy used stuff for, especially electronics. But really this is a pretty stellar sale and far from a normal price so I wouldn't be surprised if you could get 300 for it.

Pfht no, you can easily sell it for $300. Most of the general population is not going to be able to get this thing for that price. They will have like 10 per store. This is not a "week long sale item."

$200 42" tv looks good.
But I agree with everyone else. I drove by a best buy a couple years ago on A MONDAY and there were already about 20 people camped out with tents and the whole deal. Yes a monday lol, so if 4 days is worth saving $150 then so be it. It os for some I guess but not for me.

Keyboard dock's going to be $99 as well.

The Transformer at Best Buy has a different model number made just for them to hit that $249 price point for black friday "TF101-X1". Its also a different sku than the regular 16GB model on their website. The regular model numbers are TF101-A1 "16GB" and TF101B1"32GB". There is no telling what they had Asus take out to hit that price, regular glass instead of Gorilla glass maybe who knows. And, they don't have to disclose that because in the instructions of just about every device it stipulates that features or functions are subject to change without prior notice. I'd be a little leery on this one.

I doubt there's actually any difference. It wouldn't make sense to produce a different model for this, especially when there's a new model coming out soon. What retailers sometimes do is have the model numbers for their Black Friday deals tweaked to make it hard to go elsewhere and price match, or to ask for a price match on prior purchases. It's *possible* there could be actual differences, but I would be surprised.

I just asked my dad who works at bestbuy n he said basically what the guy said above me. Now if u saw this at wally as a everyday low price then you know things would be changed or taken out.

I bought my TF101 in Germany while I was traveling around europe, I was shocked when I saw the price, it's really hefty overpriced if compared to USA.

I can't wait until the prime comes out so I can sell this lovely piece of machinery. My question is... I am moving to S. Korea in February should I wonder if it will be cheaper in taiwan, I could just take a day trip there!

I am currently in the market to buy an Android tablet, and of course, this deal caught my attention the second I saw it.
I'm just having two issues making my mind up whether I should buy it or not:
- As we all now, the Prime is coming out sometime in December. I'm just wondering if the TF101 will feel old/slow compared to the newer Tegra 3 devices. Basically, I feel like I'm jumping on ship and everyone else is moving on to the next thing while me and my TF101 are getting left behind.
- The no built in 3G data is a huge deal for me, I would like to have everything sync on it while I'm on the go plus use it to stream music/video while out. Tethering using my phone is an option, but I feel like it would be to much of a drain to constantly be using it. I guess I could use a 3G USB stick, as that seems as the only other solution, do I need the dock to use the 3G stick?
Anyways, also curious to hear other people's opinions who are interested in this great deal.

i'm in the same boat you are. but this price is too good to pass up $250 + $99 for the dock. i'm going to try to just get the TF1 from best buy (unless its all sold out (which is very likely)) then resell the tablet for $325 - $350 and the dock for $50 - $75 and then use that $ to get the transformer prime.

Looks like you can't even use wifi without paying for a month of data from Verizon.
Greedy corporations putting their shareholders above their customers. I was planning on getting this device but I can't justify spending $800. The same goes to ATT charging $500 for the dock for the atrix. Shame!!!

Terrible.
I was planning on getting a Xoom, but now I'm going to wait and see if T-Mo's Honeycomb LG tablet is a better deal... I have a feeling it will be, even with the gimmicky 3D functionality.
The xoom looks freaking amazing. I wish it weren't so stinking expensive now if someone could port honeycomb to netbooks.... that would be sick.

Was looking forward to selling my iPad and buying this awesome Xoom tablet. Not for $800 I'm not. How can they justify a price this high? I mean its not THAT different hardware wise from the dumpy Viewsonic G-Tablet. It has better specs overall, but not over double the price better.
I was sooooo excited for this, now I am loathing Motorola for having such a poor plan for the pricing of their products.
G-Slate here I come (possibly).
Although I'm upset about the pricing, I'm more upset about Verizon requiring a month of cellular data to use wifi. That's just greedy.
That said, to put it in perspective, the Xoom is only nominally more expensive than the equivalent iPad but with better hardware (ffc, Tegra2, higher resolution, etc):

700 would have been a much smarter move on their part in all honesty...
I will be very interested in seeing how much the wifi version costs and when it even comes out for that matter.
No way will I pay that much.. if they are requiring you to sign up with Verizon you should be getting some nice subsidizing...
Wait....what...huh..you have to pay to use wifi? How can u charge me to use my home wifi. Where does it say that

It looks like the data is month to month, so you aren't signing a contract, meaning no subsidized price. I mean, you could buy it at $799 and pay $20 for 1 month of data to activate wifi, but what if you have to factory reset your device? I bet there will be a hack to unlock wifi in a week anyway...

Directly under the picture of the Xoom.
It says under the picture that for wifi to be activated you have to sign on for at least a month for a data plan of at least 1gb.

Cheap blow from Verizon....I had this on lock down...now I can't get it even on principle....that hurts
I bet they won't even let you leave the store with it unless you pay for 1 month of data.
Yeah, that is some BS. Really. I was going to get this instead of a laptop, because it ran Android and had similar specs to lower/midrange laptops. Now I'm most likely not. Moto is starting to look a lot like Apple, thankfully we still have HTC, who actually gives a crap more or less (but could be faster on updating stuff).

Severely disappointed, motorola just lost a customer, not for just this but forthe recent pricing/billing plans for the Atrix 4g (with its laptop base/require tethering). As for the Xoom, I too can no longer justify buying this device... 1. My principles won't let me 2. Price.
@500-600: Perfect deal given the hardware specs, would lead to large sales (taking customers from the ipad/and ipad2 marked, myself included)
@600: I would say it is a pretty good deal. Although i don't know exact specifics, the price of the hardware prolly runs around the 400-500$ range (even the tegra 2 development kit runs for 250$ minus a screen,R&D, and a few other hardware differences)
@700: A bit pricey, and over priced. Wouldn't have been shocked on this price point since it is basically the unofficial flagship tablet of Android 3.0, and a true "first-generation" android tablet(which understandably comes at a slight premium and early adoption cost)
@800: Completely overpriced, dont care how "new" it is, Tegra 2 has been out for more than a year. Adding insult to injury... required 1 month data plan(which in itself is RIDICULOUS). NO Thank you, Motorola just ruined it, period.
I can only hope it was an intentional leak/doctored photo. Because of this, I thought i would never say this, being a huge open source supporter(and big google supporter), i think i will hold of and get an ipad 2. Knowing Apple, the Ipad 2 will have very similar specs, new features, cheaper price point (and most likely to adopt an even cheaper price point, maybe ~50$ cheaper than current generation?)
Disheartened....

you won't be alone. a ton of pricing complains on their xoom thread.
I think i've figured it out... moto uses really expensive plastic. Atrix dock is $500. i guess i'm stupid for thinking they could make a wifi only xoom for $500.
silly me ;P
The Galaxy Tab needed to be activated too unless you knew the up/down, up/down, etc/etc backdoor to skip activation.
There's probably a back door to the Xoom too.
Can't wait to see how Canadians get screwed over by this. I'm looking forward to see what others bring at MWC in the next week or so.

Speculation: No Xoom release this week

I am speculating here....
I don't think we will see a preorder of Xoom this weekend and possibly not an actual release next week . The fact that no announcements have been made from Motorola on release is why I think this. If Motorola wanted to get people excited about this, they would have announced something today. That didn't happen.
I think that Motorola/Google/Verizon (yes Google too because this is the flagship tablet release for Honeycomb) are looking at pricing based on the overwhelming outrage at the $800 price point and are trying to do something to make this a huge launch in favor of Honeycomb. This can be many things. But I think the bottom line, $800 for launch will turn into a flop for the first Android approved tablet and that will not look good. The sales from the first real Android Tablet launch will be dismal at this price point. They may also decide to delay launch until the WiFi only tablets are available and/or a decent subsidized price is offered from Verizon.

Some solid points here. I would further speculate that we will see some sort of Mail in Rebate for 100$. I base this on the rumor that Costco will have the device for 100$ less. The HTC EVO, IIRC, had 200$ subsidy and a 100$ Mail in Rebate which some retailers applied automatically. Though as I say this, I think this won't work as this device, being uncontracted, has no incentives for an in-store instant rebate.
I have been waiting for this device for a while now, and would hate to see it pushed. Your speculation about waiting for a wifi only device could be a good thing though, and at the end of the day I am a team player so I would grit my teeth for that. But only till the end of the month

I am as anxious as you are trust me, but if you look at the overall picture from a general consumer point of view, $800, most people will walk on by and not even consider purchasing it. Add to that, a mandatory $35 activation fee plus minimum $20 one month data and on top of that, required to even get WiFi to work. With taxes, you will spend almost $900 without even buying an accessory. That is insane! And rumors that you cannot initially use the external microSD card slot for more storage without an update AND wait for a 4G upgrade, which we do not know if that is even OTA, wow, that is quite a bit to swallow.

We will see. But I can tell you that it will be a big flop at the current price point and needed additional costs for activating WiFi (mandatory $35 Verizon activation fee and $20 one month data). If that is true just to use it as a WiFi device, that would be one of the biggest greediest launches I have ever seen.
well the rumored preorder day is sunday which technically is next week. not much of a speculation by my book.
@keitht
Beside that Costco ad (which may be a Costco thing), there isn't anything out there from Verizon or Best Buy that states activation is required. The leaked best buy playbook from a few days ago didnt even say it was required.
The words were "If customer activates..."
Read the exact details of that Best Buy memo... it doesn't say its mandatory.
As for that leaked Best Buy ad from 10 days ago... that said "activative required" or something... plainly either a draft or hoax because of the spelling issues. On top of that, a self titled MOTO tester here on XDA said they skipped activation in testing and WiFI was fine.
I bet a beer that activation isn't required. Sorry, but I call bogus on this.
Anyhow, the price point worked for the iPad. That was $749 for the 32gb 3G and the Xoom is alot more advanced.
These are all optional words, not mandatory words...

True... we don't know the facts and that is why I am "speculating". Don't get me wrong here as I am in the crowd who has my money aside for this. I am speaking of the majority and from what I understand, the $750 iPad is not the big seller for Apple. $800 as the only option for the Xoom initially is not going to sell like hotcakes especially for an unproven device. And if there are any added costs, that will make matters worse.
arent you just paying for the xoom when you buy it? Isnt the activation fee and data plan charged to your verizon account? isnt that why you can cancel it within 72 hours because you arent actually charged the until after the 72 hours? i cant remember because its been awhile since i actually bought a phone from a store but i think thats how it goes. anyways i doubt its going to pushed back. moto is just being hush hush. Google doesnt need moto to sell alot just enough and then when more honeycomb tablets come out google gets more products out there. Im more suprised google hasnt released the sdk yet so devs can get ready to make apps in tablet form.
In addition, Apple made a big deal about the launch date for their device. Motorola has not officially announced anything about release. How will people get excited about this release when they do not know when to line up outside the store?

Still not feeling warm and fuzzy about the release of something new to compete with iPad at $800+. If $800 is the only option for the next couple months, we will see a lot of negative press for Honeycomb and I don't think that will be good for Google.
Imagine the headlines after 2 months... Only 100,000 Honeycomb tablets sold. Google's entry into the tablet market a complete failure.

the pressure will most likely be on moto for selling it that high. Google wont be taking any heat unless there are some big bugs in honeycomb. From what i have learned watching apple, they arent perfect they send patches just like any other company. i dont think moto expects to beat apple outright, they just want to take some of their share of the market. Yea releasing the $800 model by itself doesnt seem right but i doubt wifi xoom is far behind seeing as we saw it pass through the fcc. Its probably better just to watch and see what happens.

yea i worded that wrong as not taking any heat but the benefit for google is that they dont have to worry about putting all their money on one OEM. If moto doesnt sell many xooms, they can go back to samsung or lg who are next in line. Samsung is one of companies who sold as much or more android phones as moto. Also 3D is a big thing lately so that means LG could see success. There's also the other companies who make more budget-friendly tablets like viewsonic. Google will probably take a small hit if inital xoom sales arent what is expected but they will be far from out of the game. The community is excited about honeycomb so there will be a demand for it. As for the average consumer, they will get to demo the xoom and see if its for them.
At least they got a bunch of hot chicks to attend the Xoom party:

Well, the bestbuy.com/xoom page has been updated a little.. it used to say 'page requested not found'.. and now it finds a lengthy URL path, but nothing on the page. My guess is they will open the page when the stores open at 10am ET. Everything's a guess though. We'll see in 1 day and 30 minutes. Or at midnight tonight with an 'in-store only' note.

I just talked to BestBuy and they said that the official release will be on the 24th for $799. I also asked about the WiFi only version but they didn't have any information on that. Does anyone know if they will be released close to each other?

the price of xoom is disappeared, so maybe they are changing the price.
you can see at here: http://www.store.motorola.com/b/2657025011
I think he is speculating/hoping that the prices are in the process of being changed, rendering purchase through the website temporarily unailable.
Considering that this is the release day for the ipad 2, the timing would be appropriate, but a better ploy would have been a big discount this morning, just before release of the ipad, to undercut Apple's sales.
Like Digital Man said, I think its a response to the iPad 2 launch. We'll see how big the drop is. Here's to hoping to drops more than $100 lol.
It is really weird. Its the only product in the whole store that is like this. And its on every page.

Probably out of stock, not a price drop. They would have too many returns and angry people this early in release.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
Drop it $100 and offer a rebate for people who purchased it already. I mean $100 x the few people who are buying it (article on here, not me sayng) isn't a big deal. A $200 price drop would start moving this off the shelf.
Its probably sold out. Same thing happened when I tried to order a black gel case with the Xoom.

Out of stock? Hmm how few of these things did they make? lol there isn't exactly outlandish demand... And wouldn't it say 'out of stock'? Idk just being hopeful for a drop in price I guess.
I noticed the same thing on Amazon a few hours ago... the zoom and all accessories are listed, but no price on the tablet. No chance every place is out at the same time without engadget making a front page thing out of it. It's gonna be a price cut. 200 off would be perfect. (I can dream...)
Bestbuy.com is still showing a price but it says "in store only" as it has all along. strangely, when you search for in store availability, it shows all stores in range but says "in store only" instead of "in stock" or "out of stock"
25% off coupon and $100 off coupon could have depleated their stock on hand.

More speculation incoming. This comes along with the news stories today that sales of the Xoom are "underwhelming" and analysts predicting large production cut backs and/or price drops.
Might not be a price change they are preparing for. Perhaps they are editing the site to include two hardware options: 3G and the WiFi only version.
Just speculation, however note there have been claims that Staples will have the WiFi only version as early as April 1, which is only a few weeks away, so it makes since that it will appear on the Motorola site soon.
drop the price so I can get my price match..lol

Would they really stop allowing people to buy the 3G version to make an edit for the WiFi version over 2 weeks before putting up the WiFi version for actual sale? makes no sense. You don't have to stop purchase of the 3G version to put up a new product in the WiFi version.

How about them holding stock to install 4G in their current inventory? That along with Flash official next week would allow them to market it as the only "Flash 4G tablet". They would need to hold back inventory during the stock upgrade, but still sell off what stores already have. They new shipments would show 4G and Flash, which also could require packaging upgrades for marketing purposes.
Go onto the Motorola site now, and the Xoom isn't even listed. Something is up. I'm glad I bought at Best Buy and have Silver Rewards. 45 days to return gives me plenty of time to see if there are price drops or hardware changes.

Apparently the Best Buy near my home does not have Galaxy Note.

I already bought the tablet from Amazon, but I still wanted to see it in person as there is a Best Buy on the way home if I go around just a bit. However, they apparently do not have it.
As I walked to the tablet section, I saw a booth labeled "Galaxy." It seemed to be newly made for Galaxy Note 10.1 because it had "Note the new way" written on the sides with a picture of Galaxy Note and it was not there when I visited last time.

So obviously thinking that Galaxy Note would be there, I walked up, only to be disappointed. There was a section specifically for Galaxy Note, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 was there instead.
So I asked a Best Buy person if there is Galaxy Note 10.1. She didn't seem to know what it was but did direct me to that Galaxy booth, knowing that Galaxy tablets are there. She quickly realized that there is only Galaxy Tab there, and told me that they do not have it.
So I guess not all Best Buy has it yet, even if there is a booth built specifically for it. I did decide to stick around a bit to look at other tablets. I did not see any of the newer tablets like Transformer Infinity or Iconia A700. Only older versions (like TF300 and A200) of them were there along other older tablets.
Managers probably didn't tell the employees they were in the back. Same situation happened at my local bestbuy. I didn't see any so I just played with the tab 2 instead. As I was, I watched a guy go ask the computer guy where the note 10.1 was, and was pointed to the Samsung booth so he went back and told the employee their stock inventory on line said they were available. The employee said he never heard of such a product. The employee made an excuse and said their system is down as he checked his computer. He then went in the back and got one for the customer.
Mine had them on display and in stock. God I hate Samsung's keyboard...

Mine had the same issue, the stand with no display. At first I went after work to check it out, they had the stock, but no display so I left. After tormenting myself watching videos of it online I printed out my reward coupons and headed back to purchase the white note, to add to my Nexus 7 & Acer A700...tablet addiction. I''ve always had a soft spot for Samsung products having a Galaxy Tab 10.1, a D8000 LED TV, a Samsung Galaxy S2....
So far I'm really digging this tablet. While the screen isn't as sharp as my Acer 1920x1200 screen it still looks great, nice colors and brightness. The killer feature is how it works with my TV. I can completely control it from the tablet, throw movies, pictures and music to it and the installed Peel program is useful too... I honestly didn't buy this for the pen but can see it being useful at times.
My only issue is debating returning this for the 32gb version. Bestbuy only has the 16gb models in stock.
I do have a 32gb micro card in there now but always like more storage.

I think we all have been there, done that, lol.
Saw on Fry's web site that they have in stock so I figure there's a good chance they'll have it on display. Drove to the local Fry's, walked to the tablet section and asked the sales associate if they had it on display. He was clueless so I just walked down the aisle of Android tablets until I spotted it. It was a dark grey 32GB with missing pen and confirmed by price tag for $559. Liked what I saw and would've bought it on the spot but since the Fry's sales associate wasn't helpful I went home and bought it on Amazon.
The one near me told me that they didnt have any. It was in the back, I had them go look.
I was surprised when I went in to my local BB. They of course weren't sure where they were, but when they found them, there was about 30 of them!
Anytime you go shopping at Bestbuy it becomes pretty obvious why the company is having a hard time financially - their staff has no idea what is going on half the time. I went into the tablet section a week ago and asked about the upcoming Note 10.1 (only the hottest most talked about tablet in 6 months) and all I got was blank stares.
Oh well.
They had one on display at the local BestBuy around here. Unfortunately, all they had was 16Gb and I'm interested in 32Gb.
Don't mean to hijack the thread but since we're on BestBuy subject... if I were to get the 32Gb from their online store, can that be returned to the store *if* I change my mind? I wonder if online purchases carry the same 30 days return policy or not. Thanks.
Down here in San Diego it's not available in 32gb form so I just got one coming from Fry's website.
Anyone seen cases on sale for them when they went? My HSPA+ Galaxy Note 10.1 is feeling rather naked.

I went on the day Note 10.1 was launched to my local Best Buy right when it opened, here's a re-cap:
Me: "Hey I am here to buy a Galaxy Note 10.1".
BestBuy Employee: "Um... I don't know it's out yet."
Me: "Oh, it's suppose to launch today on 16th. That's today, BestBuy all over U.S. is supposed to have it."
BestBuy Employee: "Oh... Hold on let me check...."
BestBuy Employee: "Oh... You are right, they are to be launched today, let me go look in the back..."
Me: "Efffing idiots."
Walked out with my Note 10.1, the first sale for them. Just make them go look in the back, they should have boxes full of Note 10.1.
Ya know, between all these Best Buy employees "not knowing anything"about the Note and all these unbelievable reviews by so called "professionals," if I was an overly cynical person, I'd almost think there's some kind of conspiracy to make sure this thing fails. If word came out that Apple paid all these guys off...I really wouldn't be very surprised.

We only have two stores that sell that tablets up here in the Ukiah, CA area, Walmart and Staples, and while Walmart is selling the Note 10.1 online, neither store sells them in store. The nearest Best Buy to me is in Santa Rosa, 70 miles south, no worries, Amazon ROCKS with better prices, no tax and $3.99 1 day shipping! Mine will be here on my porch in Redwood Valley this afternoon

As of today (Aug 20 - 2:30 PM eastern) Best Buy claims "Sold out online" for the 32GB version, so apparently you can't even order one from them.
Way to go BB!
On an amusing side note. At my local BB yesterday, the Samsung Rep was there to demo the tablet. He stood by me to answer my questions. I asked "where's the pen". I was told that they didn't have one available. It was Best Buy's policy not to leave it out. So I said, But your the Samsung Rep! Shouldn't you be standing her holding an S Pen. Its a pen-based tablet!"
He mumbled something about it being past his quitting time already so there wouldn't be any way to get one. I actually left the store unable to even try the S pen!!
Can't beat sales like that!
sorry to hijack the post.
I am in Seattle and there is no BB close to me.
Does anyone know where can I try one in store?

HTC One in the Philippines

Fellow Filipinos, let's discuss here our thoughts about the upcoming HTC One.
Anyone of you know when is the release here in our country?
And any of you already has their handset with them, please post here.
Ordered mine on handtec - color black. Still awaiting it's first stock expected next week.
I'm not sure about the availability of the handset in our country but last time I asked(before the delay happened) HTC said we're to expect it mid of April. But judging by the delays that happened it should be between mid of April to mid of May.
And yeah Doubt this thread would be active since HTC isn't that widespread in our country. They don't even have any stores here in Iloilo or even in the whole visayas and mindanao.
Best chances of getting it is through Kim Store lol!
I know a lot of people who use HTC here, and I'm located in mindanao

^^ I was talking about HTC stores Not 3rd party retailers hehe and that's why I mentioned kimstore in the end since they're usually the first 3rd party retailers here in our country that sells latest gadget earlier than official date. I heard they're exporting their products from singapore/hongkong to sell it here.

Yeah, HTC isn't really popular here in our country because of the lack of advertisement. You know people here believes what they see on advertisements rather than experiencing the gadget itself or rather reading reviews about it.

I might, depending on the price. If it's less than 30k then there's a huge chance I'll upgrade.

I think it'll be 30k flat or less. Since a lot of online shops are offering smart phones now on a lower price than mall stores.

So yep 29-30k PHP. If you decide not to get the urbeats addon it should only total to about 28k+ PHP. And yeah you could also get lesser charges on the shipping fee if you opt in for UK Royal mail but it's a little bit slower compared to fedex which would prolly take about 3-4days until it arrives here.

That being said, I might actually buy one right now! Hahaha, how much is your total including the shipping fee from Fedex?
Hi! It's already on the screenshot. 29,725.24 PHP no more no less Although I'm pretty sure it's gonna be alot more cheaper right now since the value of our currency is a little bit higher compared to the time I purchased the HTC One.
For me this is already a cheap deal. Having a free flip case + urbeats headphone which would total to like 4-5k+ PHP if I sell it on ebay. The sole reason why I opted in on getting the UK variant is because it has more wider range of LTE bands compared to the Asian variant and I'm not even sure if we will be getting the LTE variant here in our country.

That's a good deal! More tempted to buy one now *drools* What color did you get anyway?
I chose the color black. I preferred it because with the silver one the sides(yellowish stained white), volume rocker(grey) & power button color(black) doesn't seem to match the overall color of the handset. Whereas the black has a black power button & a black volume rocker so for me it's alot more cleaner & sleeker. Anyways that's just personal preferences eversince the nokia 6600 days I always opted the black over any other colors when it comes to gadgets anyway.
And yeah of course it would match the color of the otterbox I ordered lol!

I hope the black 64gb would arrive here in the Phils. I was almost convinced to upgrade to the Butterfly but when I saw the One, I think I will hold my upgrade, though the black 64gb variant is yet to be seen as of now. I'll just wait for local units, since my One S is still less than a year old.
I'm glad to see that there are still filipinos who aren't blinded by nonsense gimmicks and plastics and rather choose the One.

By the way I ordered mine on e-bay. Making an order on the official site would cost me more with the shipping fee since they're using fedex too. So what I did was ordered from ebay instead and have it shipped through USPS.
I saved like 1.5k+ and yeah I wouldn't spend that much shipping fee just a for a protector case lol!. And yep Commuter and Defender is already available.

Wait for the developer edition if you're willing to purchase outside our country I heard it's already coming in a few weeks from US.
You can use this service to purchase the developer edition there since it requires a valid US shipping address.
