When I record video and then play it back, it only plays like 3 seconds of it.
Then when I fast forward, it only plays the audio and not the video??
How do I fix this?

recently i've flashed MIUI GALLERY, MIUI CAMERA, MIUI MUSIC and then i realise i cannot play any videos.
i've tried to install other video player from the market but still force closed when im trying to play a video.

I could not get video to work when i 1st updated to cm7
Then i realized i was retarded, and their was a button on the screen that said HQ
pressed that and it changed mode
Cant say for sure but it seems to be higher quality after getting it running ,, maybe a better codec . but my screen rely seems to shine
Try software decoding and initially try playing some small files.
Recently purchased nexus 10, and videos from gopro3 1080p are not playing smoothly. Tried mx player, vlc beta and bs player all with hw+ decoder wont work. Upgraded to 4.3. Any solution how to get the videos to play smoothly? appreciate the help guys!
P.s.
In sw mode, theres minimal log, but video plays in slow motion.
Got the same problem. does anyone have an answer to that? I went through 15 diferent players - all the same....

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I just got a nexus 10 and gopro. Any new ideas?

I have a problem with playing 4k videos on my Galaxy S5, SM-G900F. Whenever I record something with 4k quality and play it, it's fine. But when I download a short 4k video and play it, it either stutters or plays it @ 1 FPS. That is, it shows a frame for a second and it disappears for a second and so on... Also it happens to have no sound at all.
What gives? Has anyone else had this problem too?

Just because it does not fully support all 4k video formats (codec).
Maybe the newer firmware will support more formats.

OK. Maybe I should try finding different codecs. I think players like BS Player and MX Player support custom codecs. If anyone knows of any good 4k codecs for Android I'd be grateful.

I have strange problem with my samsung s8... From today evening my instagram app and youtube app only playing audio and not video... When i play some video clips it freeze and just audio going on... VIDEO ONLY WORKING when I play video file from my phone with my VLC Player... I hope you will help me to resolve this.. thanks
