Com Rom GB community feedback

Hey guys..first of all NO ETA FOR GINGERBREAD COM ROM
ok just had to say it
that being said, (since it is a *community* rom after all)...i would like to get some feedback before some of this stuff is worked on.
I'm attaching a poll about what default theme you would like to see in the rom...i realize many go on and use custom themes, but probably half or more of users just keep whatever theme is on there.
a) use the aosp gb theme from previous version of com rom
b) just clean up the existing ec09 theme (get rid of blue text, change aquas to a more solid blue...think a touch of blue eb01 theme from bendbowden for color scheme on pressed images)
c) keep status bar and pulldown but switch out to matching green images for so its not half green half touchwiz blue like in default
d) other, please specify
other community interaction questions will be posted as they come up

Been using comm rom since it started & really like the feel & layout. My vote is to stay with it.

I voted for the first option but whatever comes thru I know it will be good. I'm not even going to try the initial leaks I'm waiting for the CR

Since I had a GB theme on superclean, and love the stock GB look, I'll 11th it! ( I was the 11th vote, lol)

Just Playin... I vote to keep it UKB style.

Vote for other = 1 vote for using nitsuj17's Sense theme as default.
Damn that theme is nice. =)

Just when I'm about to make the jump to CM7 we get ComRom 2.1 with talk of GB goodness to come! Now I'm still itching to pull the trigger and give CM7 a try but I'm thinking of just waiting....what to do?!?
btw....its great having these "horrible" decisions to make. Thanks a bunch guys!

Why not try something unique, like, say, a indigo blue or purple version of the GB theme? The standard GB theme has been done many times over - even Nitsuj created a GB theme back in the Superclean days

yeah since so many folks dont install custom themes, i want to keep the *stock* com rom theme as universal as possible for folks
gb is the most popular stock aosp theme, so thats why i originally went with it...and wanted feedback on whether to stick with it
so we will see how the voting goes

Why don't we show our leak source a little love and make up a nice Motoblur theme for it!
Ok, maybe not, I vote for the original UKB style.

I say make the default theme Matted Blues. But that's just my 2¢

for me the best themes are MIUI by Zdunex, White S, Atheme and ICS. I can't add a ss because my phone was conficated in my school. in Polish high school is a ban on the using phone. :/

I know that im Polish is well, but i moved to Ireland 2,5 yrs ago
stock rom - not rooted , cuz i brick it and need to do everything again..

Try LunarUi. The best theme. Find it on Market

What really looks nice IMO is Acheps ICSunday theme with M22 3D icons (can be found on the market) it looks like this:

For me best looking theme is SE original Theme.

I've been playing....

Just thought I'd share what I've been playing with today...I made a 3D Solidworks model of the android man so I can now make him get up to all sorts basically...Here's a couple of images of him....If anyone would like to see him doing anything let me know and I'll see what I can do lol....

OK the IPhone Killer Android Dude has been added to OP, gave him a little light beneath his head so it almost looks like a sadistic grin now lol....Star wars is going to take a little longer but I'll Darth him up asap....

Nice job buddy, could you make him a bit shorter only he looks a bit tall, unless its just me ,but liking the one with the gun,and cant wait to see the starwars one.

If any developer is interested in our project can contact us to join in. We won't invite anyone and force him to join. Every developer interested is welcomed!

You guys are doing a great job! It's unbelievable how fast you draw out the bugs! Like anyone else, I can't wait for the next version to be uploaded ^^.
Ps. May I suggest Apex as standard launcher?
I think it's way more stable, faster and looking like Jelly Bean's stock launcher than the Xperia Home.

I'd recommend adding the line "P.S. We are never going to support stock kernel on this rom because (insert logical answer here)" because
1. People keep spamming the thread about stock kernel support
2. If you just say you're not supporting it, they will always demand an answer as to why

For me Trebuchet is the best. Apex have much more redraw

Yes, but it would seem more logical to me if there's a more "stockish" launcher as standard, which people can later switch to Xperia Home.. But yea, your choice ^^

Is there any way to get Google Now working? I had it working on ICS by installing the signed apk (but no voice search, only text), why won't it work on JB?

great romm really fast so far! also i found an easter egg in settings -> about phone -> mod version. If you touch it several times something nice comes up check it urselves

Ligux Rom

it is not my work... i found the ligux rom a while ago when someone posted a remake of it on xda , and saw a really nice theme and a really fast system .
so here is the website. WITH the todays 4.1.2 release .
in case someone is interested ... i say give it a try !

Hah... you really are waiting for the dude to test them out ))
flashed it with matrix ... and its solid. Except for the ligux weather that is only Chinese... the dialer ui is changed... the sms one too . Really enjoyable .
Ps. Oh yeah..and the apps are odexed

No option to center clock and transparent for statusbar dude?

Oh yeah and the website is in Chinese too...and Google translate is just hilarious when I tried reading it there. Especially in the forums.

So I checked myself, download that big zip to check for theme APK, and it's not in. So the apps are themed separately sadly.

Yeah...that's what i was trying to figure out ....but its still nice looking . And it has the status bar brightness slider. And its pretty smooth.
