Yea called Gameloft they said it prob wont be posted in the market due to .. they want ppl to rebuy each game on each android device they own now.. I said eff that so I emailed a lady at Gameloft and like before she asked for proof of purchase and sent me a link to the a500 .apk
So if you bought the game on a phone DO NOT REBUY IT FROM THEIR WEBSITE JUST EMAIL GL FOR A LINK so stupid!
Ill post back on how the game plays and or if it even installs ltr when I get home

I just sent an email to Gameloft with my proof of purchase in hopes they send me the updated .apk as well. I purchased the game when it was only .99 cents so there is no way im re purchasing it.
They will and it plays nice some framrate problems but I deff like playing it better on my a500 over my inspire4g

Just got a reply email from them this morning with a link to download the apk, game is really fun! I had originally purchased it from the android market when it was on sale for only .99 cents but it wasn't compatable with my DX or my a500 lol, i didnt bother getting a refund because I knew an update would pop up sooner or later .
what do u do to get the ps3 controller working with this game
You have to use the sixaxis pair tool app to connect the ps3 controller to the iconia. It's not free, but it works very well.

it wont even start the download at all it checks for what ever then just stops and says not compatible ... or not original and gameloft has no idea whats going on ive tried 2 differnt pads...
Did u download the APK on your tab or downloaded on ur desktop 1st and copied it to your tab? u need to download it directly from your tab it should work then..
Guo from tab from gameloft its a link that they sent me after I told them about my problem.. if I send someone proof I bought this game will someone try and send me a .apk of a working version .. I don't know what else to do.. I've tried to unroot and revert to stock 3.1/factory reset.. and I've tried every ROM available LOL its driving me crazy I can't play the best racing game for android....

YES I GOT IT TO DOWNLOAD WITH NO PROBLEMS i installed a new thor rom based off revolver asus rom and put tap into airplane mode the rom has thor kernel 3.7 and android 3.2.1 so i dont know if the rom helped but its freaking working! Thanks for any help you guys gave me!

dude i had the same trouble all i did was contact gameloft through there dev email on market and they gave me a new apk download that runs the full install install works fine for me

Every time I try to download the ~750 mg file, it says I do not have enough memory on my sd card even though I have about 16gb free. I cannot get past this. This is a bummer.

You do realize it loads on Acer's internal memory sdcard, not on your microsd (external_sd)?
Has anyone got this working for wiimote app or sixaxis app I can't play multiplayer with out dieing every 1.5 milisecond... its pissing me off cuz people use the controllers and the rest get fugged up big time...

Setup a touch profile in sixaxis, it works like a charm . Theres a thread in this section with a layout already created, but I made my own thats basically the same as cod/bf.
@Jon I'm think of doing the sixaxis app plus buying a ps3 controller but before I do is it a difficult process or do I just connect controller n go to button mapping and is their a certain ps3 controller or can I get a cheaper Gamestop one?

Its really easy to setup the controller, there's only a few steps. But the touch mapping is a little more tiredsome. You can just download the posted layout and modify it youre liking. Im not sure if an aftermarket controller would work since Ive never tried, but it SHOULD work. Maybe google could give you a definate answer .

Dont buy from them directly, go through the market, its so much easier and less hassle
Im fed up waiting for any decent games from sony, I love the play as a phone so will be keeping it to use as a decent android phone but I don't think we will see anything from sony now. We have been led on from the start, what a shame. They proved they could do it with a few titles but nothing since crash really. Feel totally ripped off. Opportunity wasted.

I dont even bother with it anymore, i use my phone as a phone, and on occasion, play a quick game here or there, but half of the games i play anymore are regular old android games from the market, hell, i dont remember when the last time i used the game pad was!

I sort of mocked it in my comment on the artricle, probably should not have. Guess we xperia play users are just spoiled. But I agree it would make you look like a idiot carrying around that and a PS3 controller. But I guess if that all you got its certainly better then touchscreen gaming... yuck
this attachment is based on the idea that you can root your phone and your phone is compatible with a $2 app that GameKlip doesn't even own. That dependability on other things keeps this niche accessory where it is.
I'll stick with my own devices that provide OEM support for gamepad (Tablet S has native Dual Shock 3 support, no root needed)

Guys, Don't forget Sixaxis App. In Sixaxis you can map "ALL OF THE ANDROID GAMES". I have both of. (Xplay, S3) My Ps3 controller always with me.I don't use my Play anymore. In the school my bag is always with me, In home I can play every place in my house. So why should I keep my Play ?
Maybe you should bash the Play and prop up the S3 in the S3 forums instead? Have fun with your stupid clip and purse to put it all in.
I hope Sony realise all these accessories show they should release an Xperia Play 2 next year!

Dead Trigger, Black Ops, and Asphalt 7 are the latest games, they all run great on the Play. They all came out within the past 3 weeks.

Asphalt 7 runs great on my phone. I am on stock debloated and V6 supercharger and OC to 1.2ghz. Maybe a few more changes but thats the brunt of it
I will not use supercharger but i will use ram manager pro. What do you guys think ?
