My optimus 7 works fine after Mango update till these few days. The touch screen just stop working, I thought it's the hardware problem at first, but after I reboot it few times, it works again.
Then after working for one to two days, it happened again. No matter how many times I reboot it, just not working. So I leave it for a night and plan to bring it to repair center, it suddenly works again in the morning.
Then it works for another 2 days, I even try hard reset this time, still not work. And again, works fine after few hours. Now ..., it stop working. So annoying.
Guess I need to take it to repair or just a software problem???
Anyone can help? Thanks.

My cousin installed WP7 on his HD2 had it working fine for 4 days. Then 1 day after I changed the identity of the Phone so he could download apps from the market the touchscreen stopped functioning. It works after a hard reset but as soon as it goes to sleep it stops working has anyone else had this issue if so were u able to fix it.
i've had this phone for a few weeks and everything worked fine. I flashed chucky's rom, and ran CoreDroid Evo Supersonic from the SD card. it worked great. yesterday, the touchscreen stopped responding if i'd wake up the phone with the red button, but the others worked fine. Now, i have to try 10-20 times with any button for the touchscreen to work. The same thing happens in Windows Mobile. I just flashed to a different ROM, and the same problem occurs.
could this be a radio issue?
Well this is something that helped me, cant rly tell if my fix will work for you but try this. Drain your battery until the phone shut down on its own and then charge it fully. Do this few times and hope to god it help

Yes ofc it's a known problem, you can see many post about it. Touch screen wont wake up when you use end call button, its a hardware issue. Well the best solution to its to send it back for replacement, but I didn't have that option unfortunately.
but it won't wake up with any of the buttons i press, not just the end call button.
I got my A7 and flashed the 4/17 rom right away, used it stock for a couple of days then installed dexters mod1.42 and for a day or two it worked fine. Then the menu key stopped working. sometimes it would work for an hour and then stop working again. I deleted the dexter mod, wiped cache and did factory reset when the key worked and everything was fine.
Then I did the bestialbub a7-gapps zipmod and everything worked great for 4-5 days then the same problem, no menu key. are there any known apps that may cause this problem? I am waiting for the menu key to work again so I can try again, are there any settings or other mods that will get me the market but leave me close to stock.
steamtv support just had me do a reset and flash latest firmware and that doesnt help much.
Please, I love the A7 when it's working and need some help.

Does this happen when the back of the device is hotter than warmer? I've had this happen often when the days are warmer and hotter. That's the reason why because the heat affects parts of the wiring. The other solution is to use Button Savior (an app on the market).

The menu smart key comes and goes no matter the temp. It's not working now, sometimes it will work for a little while and then stop again. I can't wipe/reset without the memu key. I want to get it back to stock to see if it's a hardware problem then take it from there. Any suggestions anyone?

same here (I thought, I'm the only one encounter this kind of problem). My Aunt gave me A7 as present. after 2 days, all the smart keys malfunctioned. it works fine for 10 min after that it wont work anymore. I've installed button savior for remedy. I think ytain is right, A7 has problem when the back of the device becomes hot.

I had the same issues with some of the keys of the keyboard. but at first it started only happening when the battery was low but recently it was happening all the time.
This was making my life difficult as i write some sms to my friends and it's quite annoying.
I left my phone untouched and went to repair center of my provider to show what was happening. Put my phone there for repair and in the same day went there to pick up the phone good as new.
The issue is that the stripes connecting from the keyboard to the cellphone were a bit fragile and probably broke or it wasn't making any contact whatsoever. Now i have the phone working 100%. no problem.

Try this - reinstall battery, turn telephone on and leave it on opening screen for 2-4 minutes. I have problem with not responding touchscreen and I realised that after that time of continuous screen working it starts to work again. But only till I turn it off - then it is not responding again.
I got 2 LG G2 d800 and both started not connecting to wifi, it gets stuck on "turning on wifi", both happened on the same day so I don't think its a hardware problem probably an update of Google services, anyone has the same problem and maybe a solution?

I am experiencing the same problem since yesterday. It just says Turning Wi-Fi on... and it never turns on. It happened when I had my phone charging and noticed a facebook messenger update. The wifi has turned on and worked for a while (especially after some reboots) but then it got back to doing the same thing again. I have reset my phone but it doesn't let me do a hard reset using the power and volume down keys.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
sorry to say, but its broken (99%). i had the same problem. but my luck it was i guarantee time (short before end)

I have made it work for a few hours, somehow. I finally managed to figure out how to factory reset it. I did it a few times until the wifi was working completely.
I started downloading apps and it worked perfectly. Then I decided to try a reboot and the wifi when out again. The difference is that now I have a MAC address and before I didn't. It's still stuck but there's some progress, I guess.
I thought about rooting my phone, but I'm scared of ending up with a brink since I have never done it before.
