[Q] Little issue. [Batery] - Milestone 2 General

Hello there guys, i just got my MS2 a week ago.
I got the latest MIUI 1.10.8 installed on it, altho, i got a little issue.
Sometimes, within no apparent reason, my phone stops showing the battery %, temperature and CPU clock.
Does someone knows what it can be? I know thats not software, since everytime i turn off the phone>remove battery>plug any usb powered>put battery on>turn on, it goes back working normally.Any help would be awesome.
And, i saw many brazillians here. As well. Hello everyone, i'm from there too .

I had similar problem on this rom. I had to go back to previous version.

Thanks ncc for the feedback but, i found out what it is.
Is not the phone or w/e, its the battery, i got a "free" damaged battery xD
Almost bought another one, its coming on the next days.

[June 26][Q]Freezing all the time. Could it be hardware?

Hi,
I've looked through as many posts as possible, and although there's many with similar problems, I've not found the same as mine.
I've had my HD2 for about 8 months and no problems at all. It came with a pre installed Energy ROM and I also was running SPB Mobile Shell etc. Anyway, I recently dropped it on a plane journey to the US, so it never fell far and the headphones were plugged in so it landed on it's head with a minor shunt but was still working 100%. Then I found that when I was using WinMo it would keep freezing up however I had Android on the SD card so I could still use that without freezing. Now I'm back in the UK, I keep getting random black screens, no response or lights from the buttons and no light comes on if I connect to mains/USB. If anyone calls me, they get the ringing tone but again nothing from my phone.
I backed up my contacts etc, did a hard reset and I get the same problem. So I thought perhaps it's the OS so I tried flashing another energy ROM and the same problem again, black screen. I thought then since Android worked, then I'll use that in the mean time, but it happened with that too.
Could the slight fall have killed something inside? When it's on, there's no problem at all, it only seems to die when sleeping. So is there anything else that I can do with it or would it be best to see if it needs serviced.
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hi
Has anyone experienced that the tablet switches off constantly with out any any specific reason?
I could easily surf or read an email without switching off.. but then i would watch a movie and it switch off instantly or the other way around and its not even shutting down.. it just goes from powered on, to completely switched off.. It does not get hot and it does charge perfectly and the battery level does not drop/discharge radically.. it has never been dropped or manhandled. and it started doing last week
I'm on stock 3.2 PDA:KMP CSC:KMP (XAB), not rooted..
Any ideas, suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I used to own a Galaxy Tab plus 7.0, which experienced this known problem of random reboot and/or sleep of death. You could google that to find out more.
I've since returned it for a refund. Then I picked up this used P7500 a month ago. It has not experienced not even one reboot. Sure, apps do crash from time to time, but the OS never completely froze.
How long have you owned your unit? If relatively new, I would returned it. If for a while, and only recently you experienced the problem, then I would do a factory wipe, or at least re-trace your steps and uninstall the last few apps. Also, ask yourself whether the problem is already related to certain apps. If so, get rid of those apps.
hi
Did a complete wipe.. so now its close as possible to factory default..
Could it be a battery calibration error? it works plugged in to either pc or wall socket.. works 10min after but then switches of randomly
Thanks for all the help/suggestions so far really appreciate it!
I know some mentioned the option of returning it.. But its bought in the US and im located in Denmark!

[Q] Issues and questions about 5360B

Hello XDA users
I would like to know if is possible to any of you answer some questions about this device:
1) I was using the stock ROM some months, and i noticed that some times it just freeze. i mean, the phone would not give any kind of response unless i take off the battery or hold the power on button a while, then press again and turn on this time. I really hoped that this issue was from the ROM, but now exactly the same happened today using the JELLYBLAST v3. Is there some explanation for this behavior? or is just what i get for such a low price smartphone?
I didnt saw that happening yet, and the battery was not totally out, i remember that i saw at least 50% charged the last time it happened.
2) Why i cant connect to a bluetooth HID device? the stock rom and the JELLYBLAST said the same: that cant connect. I saw somewhere that this is possible with Cyanogen, but how come? i really searched at the store for a app that could do that for me, but not a single one worked (from the ones that i found, research made 3 months ago).
I wanted to make use of my bluetooth keyboard from Palm.
Thanks.:good:

[Q] Help! L5 keeps rebooting unless it's pn usb or charger

Hi folks, I have followed the forum for a long time, read countless threads and posts regarding all kinds of things, but recently I have come across a problem which I couldn't find any solution and then decided to post this.
A couple of days ago I was using my L5 E612 regularly and then it rebooted. I didn't pay it much thought, cause we all know android does that once in a while. The problem was when it kept rebooting. The phone reached the lockscreen, was on for like 1,2 seconds and then rebooting again.
I tried everything you can think of on different roms, kernel, hard reset, stock rom, and last try was replacing the battery, which didn't work as well. The phone only works when I plug it on the charger or the usb. If I leave it charging for hours, at night I can use it until battery reaches around 70%, when it reboots again and I have to charge it.
Hope you can help me!!
Thx
Probably should've mentioned, I am currently on cm11 with non-nfc oc kernel. Phone is rooted, cwm 6.0.4.8. The problem keeps happening despite the rom, gapps or apps installed.
Hey. It seems that you have hardware problem. Looks like a shortfuse to me, maybe some dust/water on the usb connector or mainboard? I would give it to service to check.
My E610 reboots sometimes when it is heated or when I keep it in tight pockets...

Sorry for my english.
That's my current thought on the subject, already searching for a place to get it fixed. I don't believe it's on the usb, cause that's the only time it actually works. I'd guess the mainboard is the problem

Battery drains like whatever...

I've tried two different ROMs but the problem with battery seems to be in two of the latest Roms one is near 2.5.4 (the latest one if I quoted wrong) and second one is X-note v4 and now v7 these are ones that happen to have battery draining problem.
It happens whenever i use camera and then close or get out of it and after an hour or so whenever i check all ic is my battery is dead. Is there some fix for this problem or are we stuck with it forever?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bump
It's a 4.4.2 firmware problem. This qq camera daemon makes phone hot and drains battery like hell. Sonetimes i have same problem: the only temporaly fix for me is to pull the battery out of phone for a few mins
I'm looking for proper fix is there any fix that can take care of this forever? You need not to take battery just restart your phone or max shutdown that will do the job till next time.. wonder what is causing all this and how can it be few of us only? Whilst the firmware is out in millions of phones in various varieties of phones...
We really need this fix if anyone has fixed this issue please share so others like us can benefit...
Thanks
Still looking for fix...
