[Custom Radio ROM]RUU_Schubert_Radio_5.66.09.21a_22.48.50.21_custom by ansar

YES!!!
I successfully created my 1st custom Radio ROM for the HD7 Windows Phone with the new HSPL by cotulla

This Radio ROM does retain in you windows phone:
- HSPL
- chevron unlock
- mangob2 update capability and
- all other already existed ROM elements
Note: after Radio ROM flashing as always a hard reset is performed

The provided Radio ROM can be flashed to all RSPL / HSPL supported operators:
- hTC_Asia / hTC_Asia_SEA / hTC_Europe / O2_DE / O2_UK / TIM / TMOUS
///////////////////////////////////////////////
The provided Radio ROM cannot be flashed to the not yet supported by RSPL/HSPL operators:
- Cingular_US [PD2915000] / BellMobility [PD2913000] / TELSTRA [PD2912000]

- More Radio ROMs will be created for all RSPL/HSPL supported devices / operators

Radio ROM installation instructions
To install the Radio ROM follow these steps
If not already installed RSPL and HSPL
- install RSPL and select your ROM version X.YY
- install HSPL
- unzip the downloaded zip file and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe

- unzip the downloaded zip file and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe

For all supported by HSPL
Remeber with this all elements are preserved i.e. HSPL and ROM
Only Radio is replaced

I have a Singapore hd7. I updated to the latest HTC firmware where the radio says 5.65.
Now this rom say 5.66. What's up with this?

The July HTC firmware update is 5.65 for asia.
So is this a newer radio??

yes u can use that...i have used it before, preserves data on y rphone.
its actually the same as updating in zune , whena firmware only updates the radio software.

what makes this a better rom

Thanks for this rom, i just installed it. Your rom runs almost perfectly, but unfortunately i can not change wallpaper. What could be the problem?

So if I flash this rom, I'll gain a gray theme a d absolutely nothing else, since I already have the dft 7720 , right?

I am aware of that but taking into account that this is based on an european ROM, hence the question.
I want to move away from TMOUS and have a European based ROM.
Some previous reports mentioned that one could not install european ROMs on TMOUS terminals...
I want to know if this ROM will solve that issue.

Hi,
No, you must not flash this one, is for hTC_Europe operator devices
Actually can do but i did not test it yet
There are reports that bootloader can be corrupted
You can wait, cause today my custom TMOUS equivalent will be issued
I will test this TMOUS also in a hTC_Europe device to see if is ok

Many thanks! Its great ROM, but I'd like to have it customized (especially with additional language (polish)), like described in that thread (for XBmod ROM):

Unfortunately, runing the Update Cab Sender gives me en error saying:
"Error:Update device d63e74c9 - e074cb89 - 359048c8 - e6a9dddd Complete with error code: 800B010A, error message: A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority."
Any idea ?

I just tried to download the Titan rom and when i get to rapidshare it is missing. Thanks for the hard work you do for us!

Just a question what is your spl? I understand you need rspl or hspl to flash but all this talk of spl 5.0 I'm curious what your spl is after. Sorry, I've have mine at hspl and flashed a few different roms. I never looked after I flashed. I assumed it stayed at hspl 3.1.
I had to change back to stock since somehow I lost music search in marketplace. Now I see a registry fix for it. So I'm going to flash this rom. Ado I'm waiting for my 32gb card....do it all at once.

ansar removed the spl from this rom, so that it will not update to spl 5.XX.
Your phone will keep the spl after flash this rom.

I have just read a few pages...As far as I understand deplying a XAP should be an issue (as you wrote...)
I am on W7 X64. Neither MultiXAPInstall nor Tom XAP Installer works.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
I wrote that deployed apps work in this Mango 7720 ROM with the new hTC drivers of 5.10.401 as:
TouchXplorer, Registry Editor etc
I always use application deployment from MS 2010 Visual Studio for xap deployment to the phone
It works always and is official

I have found a bug. There is no camera settings for Czech language... It is not very difficult to load it But FYI
And what about camera settings from 2nd gen phones? It is not included? Just asking...
Finally what is the difference between usual Mozart ROM and this based on Titan ROM (because I have no VoIP after installing this ROM)

Camera settings is in Czech also. But in resolution is missing 8MPx.
When I downloaded Tango from HTC and run, I had error message: "Video calls not supported for your device" (it is only my translation, may be it is not exact)
From your point of view. Is any chance to bring new camera features from 2nd gen devices to 1st gen devices? I am just interested

For Tango a video calling facility/contract with your provider is probably needed
Panorama and other Titan OEM plus XIP facilities are in test, we will see if can be ported

Hi thank's for this new Rom to my Mozart but I have a problem, my mozart always stay to 0% !

It is in testing It sounds good
Another note about this ROM: My battery loves this ROM With other ROMs it goes down very quickly, but this looks very good...
EDIT: Regarding Tango: I have discussed with a friend who has Titan. There is no need to have something special from provider in the CZE... So probably this is not the problem...

What about Tango? It is OK also?

There are 2 Tango apps in the marketplace. I do not have this rom, just stock rom and i have successfully installed Tango from TangoMe in my Mozart. Hope this helps.

I know this. App from TangoMe is functional... But Ansar said that HTC Tango should be functional.

What happened to ansar unlock for Mozart is it still wip? Or will this rom be better, also for this rom is it possible to update later through Zune or is it complete re flash each update?

Which Tango are you using? Uninstall the one you are using, then from the market install the NON HTC one and see if that works. I don't use Tango myself but the HTC one didn't work for me, but the other went straight into setup.

I have a problem though. With your older ROMs, if I try to deploy custom apps from Visual Studio to the phone, it works smoothly, but as soon as I activate Wifi Tethering, the phone seems to lock itself. I'm a developper so I try to unlock it with the dev registration but that doesn't work. The only solution is to hard-reset the phone.
Do you know what's happening?

Ok...sorry...i didn't see we have to "update" camera settings with our own language to make it work...it's a bit strange i thought french cam settings was built in your rom...
After many tries it seems impossible to add my language in /Windows/ ...that's sad.
btw...your rom still working perfectly...thanks
i'll turn my phone to english to shot panoramas...
