This is a post for my friend Jonathan, he has made an awesome app that will scramble your friends brains. It's free and on the market place. He doesn't tell u how to do the trick, but with a little practice and a guess he will email u the directions. See his email below.
Hey guys, this is my first android app. It's called magic poker flip, which is a poker magic property app. You can use it to flip out others selected card by touching the screen. Show it on a party will be cool. You may watch my video here.
Now the android version is on android market as a free app. It's now v2.0, and tested well on 2.1 & 2.2. Not sure about 1.6 & 2.0, but seems can't work on 1.5. The secret of the trick is hidden inside the app, maybe you can guess by yourself how the trick works or try to find the solution somewhere in the app.

It's two month after my app was published, and tomorrow will be my 21st birthday, so I think it's time to reveal the secret to all you guys, no matter you've solved it or still stuck in it or planning to download it.
The solution of the trick is hidden in 'tutorial', you can enter and reverse your phone to check it if you can't figure it out.
Here I want to thank all the guys who sent my email or PM, your encouragements are my motivation to go further.
For the WM users, really sorry for the delay of your version. I promise it will be OK at early September, at which time I may finish my school project.

yes, you can play it with your friend after you get the right solution to the app, like i did in the video.

By the way, this app is really awesome. Smart technique.
Final EDIT: I've solved it! This magic app is by far the most innovative and well thought off that I have seen. (unlike some iphone magic apps that I've tried)

Why is it he uses the computer to pick a card? I don't really get it.
I've tried pointing so the camera can see the card and I've tried saying what the card is, the app just gives a random card :?

When he finishes his exams, he is going to work on a WM version, but has quite a bit of coding to do. Wish him luck on his exams and I'm sure we'll see Magic Poker and others like it this summer. It shows up on my market with an install button, strange.

Same here just downloaded and installed with no problems.
Google it and says it works on android 2.1 and higher so as long as your not on 1.5 you should be fine.

Wth?! It won't come up in my market or with the link(not compatible ), could it be my rom? I'm using an aospMod rom 0.9.9.1 froyo . Never had this issue. Anyone mind attaching the file so I can install.

Well unfortunately, it didnt work to push it, ended up changing rom to aospCMod 2.3 which is insane. Thanks all
Tiger Mame 1.4.3 got released a few days ago and the dev finally added save and load states.
They worked perfect for me. Been waiting soooo long. Very handy for a quick blast at work, save game, continue where left off from.
Anyway lots of people complained they wasn't working.
Now dev has updated to 1.4.4 and taken save states away again. I was in the middle of a game of the punisher and can't load my game !!!!!!!!!!
So I can't find 1.4.3 anywhere. Does anyone have a copy so I can downgrade please?

Both just link to the newest market version. Darn it.
It had only been out for 3 days and i was getting ready for a marathon lunchtime sessions of all the cps2 games for the next couple of weeks. The emulator is useless to me without save abilities.
The CPS2 side scrolling beat em ups are some of the finest games ever made. AvP, Cad vs Dino, Punisher, just plain awesome games.
I find it kind of ironic that someone says they need save states to play arcade games, but okay.

hehe yea.
I play during my lunch time at work though. I like completing games like AvP and Punisher etc.
Its annoying when you just have a 5 minute or 10 minute blast and then want to save but cant.
I get your point, but save states mean you can enjoy and complete the game at your own leisure instead of being forced to play all the way through in one sitting.

Why not take our Plays down to the local arcade for the complete experience? Also, try jamming a 20p in the simslot, it might just work.

Saves are needed for me also, i can only do 2 or 3 lvs on viewpoint before its time to work again
Exactly the same thing. I've 5 or 10 min max two times in my journey, savestates are very important for me too.

Heck, I would be happy if the dev would fix the scaling for Honeycomb devices, since small tiny window on the A500, Transformer and Xoom. It does not change scaling with any option- same small window, but operates fine on the gTablet and higher res Galaxy Tab (older version) using Froyo.

I rooted and now save states work for me on this emulator.

Unfortunately this is not true.
The save state feature has stopped working. Getting the same errors as before (rom rebooting).
Such a shame because this is a great emulator.
I have tried nearly every NeoGeo & CPS2 rom, and the only one that didn't work was Metal Slug 3. I got sound problems on some CPS1 roms like Final Fight. But seriously, everything I tried on NeoGeo & CPS2 worked!
...just need those save states, Tiger King.

how did u get those roms to work?? avp and punisher..I kan only play the final fight wit ****y sound. I have the bios but idk they wont work can u help me??
Did any1 got Captain America and the avengers working?
Its one of my favorite games and it wont even appear in the ROM list! Its in ZIP format along with other ROMS.
And if anyone knows a friend with one, they should donate an apk to the rest of the android community if possible.

Lol how to do it? The interface blows chunky butts on that tab. Let me know and ill have it asap. The vizio 8 is a glorified PDA. The interface totally does not make sense. No real home screen. It has a persistant app drawer. First thing i did was load Adw and the system dueced. Can't even load a static wallpaper. Surprisingly it has some zip when not on the ghetto app drawer/homescreen.
Anyway shoot me directions and give me a day or 2 and its all yours.

This app works out great on ICS. Nothing to report. Just my opinion: It gets boring after sometime... sry if it hurt you.

The post may be referring to PlayStore compatibility.
Unfortunately I receive an incompatible message on HTC Sensation. (Android 4.0.4).

I've just installed this on SGS2 with no problems at all using a 212 dpi screen resolution. (Hdpi).
Great start! There's a lot of Minecraft fans out there, so the potential is huge.

i was about to ask what dpi was your sensation. i'll look into it soon! hopfully i can some out with a new update to fix that

Its fine on my S2.
My sensation has a screen resolution of 540×960.
It could well be that the Rom at the time may of needed a Market Fix.
Bear with me, I'll try with another Rom that's now installed.

OK yes it's fine.
I was running a CM9 nightly at the time, but now it's downloaded just fine with another build.
For reference I've downloaded it twice at different resolutions, 240 ,212 with no issues.
On a side note, check out this game:

hey i'm looking into this now. hopefully i can figure why it's incompatible.
i'm upto version 1.0.5 on my release and this time i fixed a lot of texturing stuff and added new features. enjoy!
i should have emptied a section for myself to post updates.. i guess it's too late now

Dosent work that great hard to explain what it does but the char. moves with the slightest touch of the screen. the char. turns completely around. Also every time i complete that pesky leadbolt ad the selection "added pose mode" still disabled. guess you only care about money

haha, it's not that i only care about money. but money helps. to keep this application free i implemented ads, i rather not make this only paid.
this is also the first time i'm using lead bolt. i also filed some complains about not completing even tho the user has completed the ad. i'm looking into using something else that is more reliable. they did email me back that it takes a few days for the ads to fully implement into my application. don't know what that means but the app only has been out for 4 days.

Or use any simple ad service and create your own unlock content after clicking an ad. i made a crappy one before but ditched it... got alot of hate mail and comments
I went to install this, but then realized: why does it need the following permissions?
- Coarse (network-based) location
- Fine (GPS) location
- Read phone state and identity
This looks like a fine app, and I would like try it out and help with its development. However, I do not want my privacy invaded. It's a live wallpaper. It shouldn't need these permissions. The only reason why I think you would need these permissions is if the ad-providing plugin required them, in which case I'll skip on this app. Please remove these permissions.

yup your right, it is from the ads. the only permission i need for my lwp is internet to access the skin.
i am looking into using another provider. i'll be posting my results once i have found something suitable and reliable.
