Hi, I just recently flash my Atrix from stock 2.3.4 to CM7. Everything runs OK except for flash player. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is there a way to fix it?
Update to flash player 11 in the market and that should help. I use CM7 daily and have no issues with flash player
I just did, but the problem persists, I seems like it only work with 360P or lower resolution. Anything above 360P and it becomes a mess. You should try a Youtube video with 480P resolution

This is a known issue with cm7 itself, not just the atrix version,

So, I'm stuck on 360P resolution if I want to view flash content? I know this bother most of you, but is there a fix coming anytime soon?
i dont know about a fix, but ya it bothers me..
I don't have any issues either. I also use adobe air with that. That seams to help out the flash player a ton.

I had these problems, HD videos would hang on first frame or would be a mess of colours, there was an update, now it's better

Look it up in the market. Adobe air is an app that the phone uses when it needs it.

I was trying to play a MKV file that was 480p and all i got was continuous pixelation and lag. Does this phone not support 480p or does the player not support it?
Where can I download this, it doesn't show up in the market and the website points me to the market...

Hi why I cant play new video from YouTube player. I also install the last version from Market but I have the same problem. Someone have this problem?
Never had that problem, can you not play your youtube videos from browser as a temp fix until you can sort this problem also what rom are you on?

Turning off the HQ only works on the mobile web version of YouTube.

If you rent a movie though the market on your Rooted Moto Xoom and try to play it in the Google movies app you will get an error 49 (rooted device not allowed).
But if you go to www.youtube.com in the browser and login you can then play your movie.
I have done this process on my Rooted WIFI Xoom with 3.2. (Desktop UA string). Just thought I would share...
This will only work if you are connected to a network. So if you can tether or if you have a Verizon Xoom you should be good to go mobile. Or you can always use WIFI.

just tried on my wifi xoom 3.1 with unlocked bootloader using the Bourne ultimatum (favorite movie) and it worked perfectly without a hitch.
this workaround will be useful until someone can figure out how to watch them in the movies app.

well I thought I bought the HD rental lol. but I only had 360p and 480p options. either way it still looked fine.

Then thats a SD video. HD will go to 720
yeah i thought for sure i spent the extra dollar for hd but it was definitely sd. oh well

hmm... maybe if you did you tube sees the screen size in the browser and limits to 480...
im a newbie, so I apologize for the hand holding but can you please explain exactly how to view a Google video through the YouTube browser? I ordered a movie on Google videos and signed into YouTube, but where do I go from there? Thanks
if you type in"about:debug" (without quotes) in the browsers address bar you will get more settings. go to settings>debug>uastring and change it to desktop. then reload youtube and on the homepage there should be something like "don't forget to watch your movie" and that's it.

Perhaps you didn't get the memo but flash isn't compatible with jelly bean. Or at least I think its not.

Tried several apks got them working but kept crashing dolphin every time I would try going fullscreen

I restored a previous backup. Ditto with the fullscreen crashing, both in Dolphin HD and Opera Mobile browsers.
Kind of bummed too, since one of the main purposes of finding a reason to buy the N7 in the first place was to be able to watch anime on it. Usually 5 out of 6 alternate video links are flash, and the html5 won't full screen..
Is there an addon or app that can be installed that would take over the inline streamed feed?
is there anyway to watch noobroom.com videos on nexus 7 ?

I loaded up 'the Raven' on Mozilla and looks like it let me go to the full screen without crashing, if the other videos are using the same embedded then it should work no problem but if not then use my 'trick' for those

Loaded Slimbean on my S4 yesterday. I love it by they way, real clean look.
I can't watch videos though, specifically avi files, both locally and streaming from my NAS. Youtube works, recorded video works (minus sound), but not the rest of the content that I could play on my stock rom.
Did some googling, and I found some references to the DPI settings, so I tried setting that to stock (480), but that didn't help.
Any suggestions?
Could be some bloat that was removed, is that a tw rom or aokp?

Loaded slimbean build 6. Still have the issue playing videos with the native video player and es file manager. I really like this rim but no video is a deal breaker.

Thanks, I did the same thing, loaded MX Player and all is right in the world now. BT is acting funny, but thats for another time I guess
