Plz Help can't find anything on Internet about my problem

I really hope there is somebody with insight about my problem with my Samsung Omnia b7610.
A while a go I wanted to flash my Omnia (original version 6.5 from Samsung site)
It wend wrong...
When I now turn on my phone and connect it to PC, I only see the Battery charging. When I turn the phone on I only see the SAMSUNG logo.
I remember that before I could see a picture of a phone connecting to a pc. But that picture doesnt come anymore. So I Cant flash the phone anymore.
Hard reset doesnt work.
I tried Octans. Detect device doesnt work.
I use Win7 installed drivers and I can see in System Management that under phones Samsung MIT's USB sync is installed. That's all the phone can do right now.
I hope somebody can help me. Is there for example a way to get into a bootloader menu like the HD2 phone?
Thnx,

Try this flash tutorial for windows 7 x32
I used it for my flashings and it works.
One thing that you should verify is on the OCTANS or OCTANS MINI exe, the compatibility should be for Win XP.
After that if you have the drivers already installed, the phone should be detected after pressing "detect"
JUST PLUG THE PHONE AFTER PRESSING DETECT
if you don't do it it will start charging and does nothing
Thanks for reaction but...

Tried this, and I also tried it on a XP machine now...
I think the problem is that I only see the Samsung logo on startup. I can remember that first I saw a picture of a phone connecting to a pc. It just stops at the Samsung logo...
Thanx for reply...
just get octans 2.14 download any rom from modaco
1 take battery out put it back
2 start octans chose pda (*.nb0)
3 thick skip os updating from movinand, erase nv pda , start download immediately
4 click detect
plugin the usb into the device (must be off)
then a few sec download will start.

[Q] USB only working on bootloader ?

Hi all.
First of all, Win7, 32bit.
Second, I must be doing something really stupid ... here goes:
I'm trying to upgrade my Qtek S200 (AKA HTC Prophet) G4.
I've tried the Prophet_Upgrade_2.6.5 (that I got from this forum), following the instructions from thread 534707 (can't paste links yet ..)
But... the tool gives me an error ( Warning: no device connected. Waiting for a device to connect...), so I figured out I did something wrong and decided to start again from scratch, but this time I would hardSPL the thing first, using the "Upgrade_SPL_G4" batch that I found somewhere in this forum.
That's when I discovered that Win7 doesn't recognize the phone anymore: when I connect it to the USB port, windows doesn't even "beep" and there's no device on the device manager. BUT. If I start the phone in bootloader mode, windows DOES recognize it ...
I've already hard-reset the phone, done a system restore on windows to a previous date, the works ... but windows still refuses to "see" the phone after it booted normally ...
Any hints ?
./J
install proper drivers for win7/vista first.
Read Prophet Upgrade thread or Claudyfa thread about installing drivers...
what condition of your phone now...?!
if it's entering 3 color screen when booting, better find XP PC n' use nvid rom to back to wm5 first.
then update in Win7/Win Vista with driver installed (like bikertibi told)
@Bikertibi: The question is "what" proper drivers if when I plug the phone via USB on it's "normal" condition (working) it isn't recognized by windows, not even as an "unknown device" ?
The only way to make it "appear" under the windows device manager is booting the phone into the "bootloader" (3 color screen) mode ... and even in that situation, windows tells me it has the latest drivers...
I've even tried to uninstall and reinstall "Windows Mobile Device Center" (that carries some 'new' drivers with it) with no success ...
@hd.herlambang: phone is working ok. I can boot it normally, I can hard and soft reset it and I can boot it into the "bootloader" mode, but when booting it normally it is NOT recognized by windows, not even as an "unknown device". As I've said earlier, it's only visible to windows when booted into the "bootloader" mode.

***bump*** ?
I have the exact same problem with my HD2. I've asked HTC, but they haven't given me an answer so far...

try to run thr program in administrator mode, by right click on your mouse
Hi,
Administrator on both computers I use, though it would update the phone software to load or initialize the components while before I receive notice of this application, once repairs have used without problems. What do you think the problem might be?
I have that problem but when i install SE Update Service PC companion dint give me error.

unknown hardware with 5 diff. pc´s ?!?

Hi forum.
I have a small problem with my X10i.
When i try to go into flash mode, no matter if it is with SEUS or PCC i get "hardware is not recognized" from my computer.
I have now tried on 5 different computers, all witch all can fine connect to my x10 mini, but all of them will not recognize my x10i...
I have tried all i can think off, i have tried to remove the "unknown hardware" from the computer, and many other things...
nothing works...
I have an old Trip version MIUI on the x10...
Actually i have just discovered that even if i try to mount usb storrage (the sd-card) in xrecovery, i get the same "unknown device"...
Not even when miui is started i can connect to my sd-card...
When the X10i is in flash mode i do not get the "SEMC USB Flash Device Detected", i get "unknown device detected" instead...
- and it fails to install drivers...
Pleace can you help me to solve this problem ??
hi,if you wish to install original se firmware first try to do it with flashtool and some of the last se firmware and then connect X10 to SEUS and go for the option repair,I dont know if this helps you but this is what I would do

X Compact bricked. Not recognized by pc.

Hello all,
i have big problem with my x compact phone.
I used the amazon music app suddenly the phone was freezed. So i restarted it. After that the phone was in a boot loop. Message:"Your phone is corrupt...".
This wasn´t stopable even with hard reset (power+volume up). So tried my luck with a software repair using xperia companion. Nearly at the end of the process it stopped with the message "failed please try again.." . After that the phone wasn´t able to get in flash mode (blue light). The pc doesn´t recognize it. Windows says usb failure. From time to time the red light is blinking when i connect it to the charger thats all. No other response.
Is there a chance to repair it? Please help me.
If fastboot mode isn't available, your only option is to get the phone in 'service mode':
- turn phone off
- hold <volume down> button
- while holding <volume down> button, connect usb cable to pc and phone (led should turn green).
In this mode you can try to flash the phone with Emma:
https://developer.sony.com/file/download/flash-tool-for-xperia-devices/
or alternatively FlashTool:
http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php
If you can't get into 'service mode', check on another pc with another usb cable (and make sure you install the usb drivers correctly). If that also doesn't get you into 'service mode' the phone is destined for RMA.
Thank you. But can´t get into service mode. When i try the led blinks red.
I´m not sure if the drivers are correctly installed. When i download them from sony, i installed them as legacy hardware but it have the status "not working".
How can i install them?
I think even without drivers installed the phone should go into service mode if you follow the aforementioned steps (only then it shows up in Windows device manager as an unknown device), so that sounds bad. You should try with another pc and another usb (data)cable.
I don't use Windows myself so I can't help you with driver installation, but I gather if Sony provides drivers it should be an easy 1-click installation. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

By installing Xperia Companion on your PC or Mac you should have any drivers that might be needed. So if you cannot successfully connect to your computer in any mode, then it seems likely that you'll have to send it in for repair. Edit: But do try another cable first, as was suggested.
