I don't know if you knew this but if you want to make changes on you phone via zip files and don't feel like making all the changes again to your Rom on ur computer, do a nadroid backup via CWR then plug in your phone to computer pull the backup out of clockwork backups zip all the files and add that to update folder in kitchen and you can pull out the Rom and any changes you made are intact wether it be kernel or script tweaks just an easy way to release a new version. Then again you could just use root explorer and pull out files you changed and add those to your old working folder and build that, I always keep my last working and just keep adding till I feel it can be a new version. Will release my new one next week or so.

Update should be ready tonight. Doing a bit of themeing, adding overscroll glow, removing GPS icon in status bar, adding HTC wallpapers, adding clock app back to launcher, changed boot animation, maybe a few more things.
Just so everyone knows, I have removed HTCLoggers.apk from this ROM. I am also tweaking the theme. Will post the theme to flash, and will add it to the next release.

So I kinda got caught up learning how to edit xmls and whatnot and forgot that this was supposed to be a stock sense 2.1 Rom. I'm in the process of removing the theme, and ill just make the theme a flashable theme instead. Should be ready by tomorrow.

Sometimes after flashing permissions might have changed.. make sure u apply permissions on SystemUI.apk using Root Explorer in system/app/ as in pic.. then REBOOT...

Then I would suggest u Push systemUI.apk(extracted from zip file) via fastboot commander or
just delete using Rootexplorer then reboot and then paste the new apk and apply permissions..
Anybody knows how i get TrackPad2Wake work with Teppic74's Pre-rooted Stock Gingerbread? Flashed it but it only works when i press the Trackpad immediately after the screen goes black, otherwise its not working.

Install Alex's GingerBread Official.. thats also Stock pre-rooted GB, runs very smooth and very stable and trackpad2wake works very well on it..
EDIT: not only Tracpad2awake but all of above mods work on it...

* Trackball to wake: works if also adding snq v6 kernel. I removed the htclockscreen.apk from it, as it was unnecessary.
* Quicksettings_only: works if you modify install script first, to delete the odex file for the replaced systemui.apk. (this applies to all odexed Rom, like neo)

=> attached: same zip as Alex-V's but HTCLockScreen.apk removed.
PS: don't forget, if you're on a stock rom with stock kernel, it won't work. You also need snq- kernel. (e.g. you can install the "v5 to v6 update flashable zip")

When I flashed this I was using 3.0.2.5 Recovery did a full data wipe since I can over from BAMF Forever, I cleared cache, and dalvik cache. Then flash ROM and enjoy. 3.0 Based on new base 2.11.605.5 along with custom kernel Imo 5.0.1 based off offical source. This is as solid of a stock/custom ROM as they come. Speed, battery life, and reliably. Everything works in this ROM that works with stock ROM with te ability to under/over clock. All options above are still in this ROM along with a few surprises. Stock version is also available with stock kernel. All bloat has been removed with out removing too much. Flash this if you want stock feel and be protected against OTA from Verizon.

I did some edits to system/build.prop with kernel and speed tweak ROM is very fast I ran for over 24 hours battery life was very good only thing keeping me from running it as DD is my green lantern lock ring for sense 3.0 lock ring LOL. Once I get a lil more help to help me port I will make my own.

Also if you want vigor boot animation before i fix it located xml file in. System/customize/cid/default.xml look near bottom on file for boot animation and change vzw_bootanimation.zip to just bootanimation.zip and you are golden will fix this later in update. Thanks Eris
Edit: or you can just change the bootanimation.zip to VZW_bootanimation.zip which may be easier for some people the zip is located in the system/customize/resource folder edit the name with root explorer or unzip it before you flash it or just edit it with winzip or winrar or just wait for update LOL

This is my first ROM release...ever. I'm no dev but I've been around for quite a while and have learned quite a bit from a lot of people here so thought I'd give it a shot.
I set out to develop this for myself because I had been running MIUI for a while and really enjoyed its beauty but just couldn't stand battery life any longer. I wanted a ROM that was simple and good looking with good performance and with great battery life. I've finally put together something I really love so I thought it would be wrong of me not to share it with the community.

A note on the themes. Very little of the theme work is my own. It's basically one big mashup of several themes I find are the best with only a few of my additions. All credit should go to the original creators (unfortunately I can't remember who all they were).

1. Make sure your are on AT&T GB boot loaders. If not, you can find them here.
2. If you have a lagfix enabled, you will need to disable it first.
3. Copy the MaxQ ROM zip to your SD Card.
4. Shut down phone and remove SIM & External SD card
5. Boot into Recovery and perform Wipe data/Factory Reset to be safe.
6. Select "Install Zip from SD Card"
7. Profit! I mean, enjoy.

I honestly can't remember the name. It came from a set of wallpapers from long ago but I actually pulled that one from the Pinnacle SDCARD folder. After flashing, it will be in a folder titled "MaxQ" in the SDCARD.

This rom looks awesome. I couldnt agree more with the person that said it was nice to see a rom without a gaudy look to it. Clean and simple with a nice bunch of awesome batt tossed in to boot......
I've had good luck fixing the KJ3 gallery issue with overwriting the standard KJ3 file with the one I've attached. Worked on the KJ3 leak as well as a couple KJ3 derivations I've tried.
Just use a file manager to copy it over the Gallery3D.apk in the system/apps directory and reboot the phone. That's it.

I get a hot reboot when I click on the setting to change the default input method? Any idea on working around so I can change to swype?
Edit: I also get a hot reboot when trying to change my input from the ime switcher in notification bar

Install swype, reboot. Freeze latinime.apk, reboot, swype should be default now.

Great rom. Smooth and fast. The extra features are awesome and well done. But, I am getting the worse gps signal of any rom I have tried. I tried reflashing, changing gps conf, and modems. I still can't even get a fair signal out of it. Sigh, I want this rom but need gps.

Try using h3llstorms GPS fix, that worked for me. Also I flashed my modem to kg3 and I get pretty good GPS signal. If all else fails try using GPS AIDS that program is magic

Thank you for the help. I tried the h3llstorm fix an it did improve it a little. I decided to try a complete wipe (factory reset, data,dalvic, and a system format) reflashed and the gps was much better. I also applied my favorite gps fix from "superstar29". I have no idea where this fix originally came from. It was posted as a zip file on another rom thread. Anyways, all is wonderful again. Great looking rom. Test driving begins.

SGSIII boot sound, ringtones, and notification tones.
Change Clock color, Date Color and Quick panel toggle colors in settings menu. No need to flash a theme to do this all you need to do is make the changes in settings and reboot!!!
Four colors to choose from, Blue (default) Red, Green and white.
Swype is not included on the ROM itself but if you look on your SD card for the MPD extras folder the latest beta is in there as well as a copy of tibu and drop box, just click on the apk to install.

There was a Fusion CM9 build a while back. But unless a cause or cure for the EU bug comes up it is unlikely.
However I did see the nexus got jelly bean so you never know what might pop up.

I'm not able to do an exhaustive search because I don't have my laptop with me. If coming from an ICS AOKP ROM, do I have to take special steps, or can I wipe and flash from recovery? My kernel is clockwork based, but I'm not sure if I need to change bootloaders.
Thank you for your work! I basically went straight from froyo into ICS, so I'm curious to see what the GB hype is all about. It seems that there are diehard GB users out there.

the reason it took some convincing for me to do this is I am actually a themer for The Collective not a dev. The extremely talented dev I theme for crt60 has been trying to get me to do a ROM for a while now and MPD ROM is the result.
So if your coming from an ICS based ROM you will have to use Odin to reformat the partitions on your sd card ICS uses a diffrent partition table. I highly recommend the KK4 with repartition by 4-2ndtwin found here then flash the CWM kernel (link in op). You will need to be on I897 GB bootloaders I am not real sure what bootloaders the ICS ROMs use but you can chek your current ROM's thread to find out. If you end up needing them the one clicks linked above has a version with and without bootloaders.
there are a few reasons for the die hard GB fans, there has been a lot of development on GB and some of the features haven't quite made it to ICS yet. There is also the EU bug that has some users afraid of rendering thier device useless from running an ICS ROM. Lastly and I'm prolly gonna open a can of worms on this one but battery life (from what I hear) is better on GB.
Can mods and themes from Legend 4 be used on this rom ?
Edit: I don't think so. I tried the circle battery and on reboot it never got past the boot animation
