[ROM][Mango]RUU_Mozart_S_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.00_5.69.09 Unlocked - 7 Mozart Windows Phone 7 Development

I wanted a straight forward unlocked version of the stock RTM 7720, after reading a few threads i saw a few other people wanted it. So i guess impatience drove me to cook it for myself. So here it is:
http://www.4shared.com/file/WPVk7xlZ/Mozart_YardieRom_7720.html
All stock, SPL removed, Just unlocked/maxapps & prevent relock.
Instructions-
Be aware of XSPL issue with Mozart 4.XX roms, if required flash back to a NoDo rom before flashing XSPL( I used RSPL so it reverted back to OSPL1.30 after flashing).
I don't know if this ROM will be updatable with zune...guess we''ll have to wait and see!!!
Respects out to Cotulla&DFT,bepe,ansar,Football,Marvin_S,DaG,AnDim,Ted973,Heathcliff74,airextreme&ceesheim for all the work they have put into WP7 development and creating the tools for us to play with.

Honestly, i don't know, you shouldn't be using HSPL with that ROM. Give it a go, let us know if successful.

Sure downloading now, will let you know soon

dont flash this rom from dft 7712!
otherwise you are the next with a half bricked mozart. first flash stock rom. then rspl and this unlocked rom!!!

Thanks ahlMAR for quick tip am restraining myself from flashing

it is perfect for me, boot-loader USB ok, touchexplorer don't work.

Thanks in advance.

I have Mozart 7 T-Mobile Germany. Bootloader version is a 1.28
I need to go back to 1.09 T-Mobile Rom, 1.28.401.04_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50_RELEASE , RSPL and then flash this rom,

Thanks ntt for quick reply

Touch explorer doesn't work with any cooked Mango ROM at the moment, hopefully Schaps is working on a fix. If you know the file system well enough you could try DaigProvXML by Marvin _s and contable for copy/cut and paste files

hi, i just got my mozart 1 hour ago and i want to install mango into it.
i am very confuse with lot of SPLs such as hspl, rspl, spl etc, how many spl does this phone have?
currently my phone's bootloader shows:
PD67100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-1.33.2250.1(123643)
MicroP(LED) 0x07
TOUCH C1(v69)
My phone software information:
OS version: 7.0.7392.0
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.13301.707
Radio software version: 5.65.09.25_22.45.50.21U
is it safe for me to install this update?
Thank alot, i scare brick my phone in the first day

I too cannot get this one to work - it just times out at 0%. I am running from a formerly Orange locked device.
I have tried, but been unsuccessful with:
1. RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.22.061.10_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U_by_ansar.zip
2. Mozart_YardieRom 7720.rar

3. Mozart_YardieRom 7720.rar

2. RUU_Mozart_S_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.00_5.69.09_RELEASE
It looks like I am going to have to be Developer locked for now, unless anyone has any ideas?

You should just have to install RSPLhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647Then flash this ROM. You are on NoDo so RSPL shouldn't be an issue.

Try
1. RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.22.061.10_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U_by_ansar.zip
2.RSPL

See if that helps. I upgraded from DFT7714 through the official HTC europe 1.28 rom before RSPL, you could try that also. It may also be how you've debranded, i was originally locked orange but used a gold card to flash official HTC Europe 1.28 and debrand. something else you could try!

can you install a official 1.66-rom with sdcard-method and apply hardspl afterwards?
i guess the problem is: there is no 1.42-spl-rom for the TMOUS-CID......
HX-BC
SPL-2.07.000 8G XE
MicroP-Wrong Platform(0x1)
MicroP(Touch) 0x30
Bootloader status.
1.66 WWE didn't work... So I think MTTY is only option?
why didn't you just re-cook the 2.07-rom and use it with Hardspl???
new 2.07spl not needed. everything works with 1.42hspl.......

If they can beflashed, and i remember correct, they can be overwritten with the old hardspl afterwards.

Already tried, but no succes.
I've been stuck with SPL-2.0 for a while now myself. Nothing gets it off including multiple goldcard attempts and full flashing of stock roms. It seems like it's there to stay, at least until we get a HSPL2.0 which I'm waiting for.
My radio version is stuck where it is but I can upgrade firmwares using SSPL which is nice. I just flashed Miri's latest 2.05 and everything works fine. Still, I hate having my SPL locked down like this.

Which ROM for 9193 on AT&T?

Tried to load the official ROMs from the forum here, but both failed. Using a Telstra 9193 on AT&T. Can someone point me in the right direction? Do I need to load HSPL and a cooked ROM or is there something out there that's 'generic' I can use?
Sorry, new to the HD2. Already been through the ringer with my TyTNII but this is a new ballgame all over again, since I now have an overseas phone that's been flashed to another carrier.
Thanks!
you need hspl from the HSPL thread. NOT HSPL2, it wont work.
You need spl 1.42.0000 on your device to instal hspl, so if you have a later spl, 1.66.0000 for example, you need to find an earlier telstra rom to downgrade the spl.
Here, start reading.
I'm not a noob, already SPL'd my TyTNII, just needed to know which ROM was closest to the HTC OEM but unbranded from Telstra so I could start there and then begin noodling with what cooked ROMs I wanted to try.
Thanks for the pointer, I'll run HSPL and go from there. Just thought there might have been a generic HTC 9193 ROM available directly from HTC.

the model doesn't make any difference (well, at least in your and my case, its only tmous users that have any pitfalls )
for the plain roms (look in the official roms folder, first post first link is a great start) look for wwe htc in the name.there the unbranded ones, and go from there.

Sam, I"m stumped. I must be doing something wrong. I have SPL 1.66.0000 on my phone which according to the instructions should be fine for the current HSPL, but it refuses to load indicating 'incorrect product id'. I've also tried downgrading the SPL version via the card by extracting and renaming the .nbh file and copying it to the card, but when I hard reset, the phone goes directly from the bootloader to the screen which prompts me to reset the phone, rather than any option presented that enables me to load a different SPL.
I'm stumped. The standard generic WWE ROMs won't load, I can't get HSPL to load and I can't force it via the card. I must be doing something wrong but just can't seem to pin it down, other than the usual 'keyboard-to-chair-interface'. I never had anywhere near this trouble flashing my TyTNII.
What are your thoughts?
Here's what's on my bootloader screen:
PB81110 HX-BC
SPL-1.66.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x40
OS Version 5.2.21869
Manila Version 2.520121431.1
ROM Version 1.72.814.0 (82124) WWE
Hey Mate,
I have the 9193 and Flash whatever whenever, now i'm seeing tmous and EUR and Telsrtra and I'm getting worried, can some one please explain the difference?
Thanks in advance
On an aside, I'm running Win7 Premium 64bit. Might that have something to do with this?

Official HTC ROM Update for HD2 (Telstra)

I was just wondering if anyone in Australia has tested this new ROM on their HD2 device as I'm interested in experiences people are having with it. I got a response back from HTC that says the included versions are as follows:-
OS Version:
5.2.21869
Manila Version:
2.5.20121431.1
ROM Version:
1.72.841.0
Radio Version:
2.07.51.22.2
Protocol Version:
15.32.50.070
HTC claim that it improves SMS messenging and improves the overall touch responsiveness and software lag on the device. Can anyone confirm as I'd like to know before I make the effort to upgrade/reinstall everything. I'm also hoping phone reception and bluetooth audio has been improved in the Radio version upgrade included in this ROM.

Can't really comment on this as it did not stay on my HD2 long enough for me to find out. I can however tell you that you cannot flash HSPL from this rom. It sets your SPL to 1.66 which HSPL2 cannot seem to deal with. I had to downgrade to the older rom version and then run HSPL1.
Why do want all that terrible telstra bloat? I can tell you your phone will run much faster without it.
I don't want all the Telstra bloat, I hate it. I was encouraged when I saw the message from HTC that all carrier customisations would be removed after upgrading the ROM
If I don't go with this HTC ROM, what custom ROM do you recommend? I assume Energy?

just to correct you slightly, HSPL2 wont work on any telstra, nothing to do with the spl version, it is the telstra model ID that fails hspl2.
You are correct about HSPL needing 1.42.0000 to install though.

I like Energy but there are quite a few other roms out there. ROMs are such a personal choice. What works best for me may not be to your taste. Try a few and see how you go, Most of the chefs in here have been around for quite a while and are very experienced in cooking so you really can't go wrong. Just don't forget to HSPL your phone first and read the ROM threads regarding which radio rom will work best with their ROM.

Ahhhh, thanks for the correction and enlightenment. I had a feeling it had something to do with the model ID as that is the error message I got when trying HSPL2. Sneaky Telstra bastards....
Ditto the problem with this new Telstra update, I had the same problem. It changes the SPL so to 1.66.0000 which will block any attempt to use another ROM or HSPL. Revert back to 1.48 and you'll be OK.

if you plan on flashing cooked roms, but want to try the 1.66 update before hand, you can install HSPL first, and then when you run the .exe shipped rom (over USB), it will only change the rom and the radio, leaving HSPL installed.

And now I am stuck because I cannot use HSPL or HSPL2 to flash the SPL. Could you please tell me how to revert the SPL to an older version (1.42) then I could use HSPL to flash it again??? Thank you very much!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just realized that I could use the SPL revert procedure to revert the SPL
Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.
All I need now its theolder Telstra ship ROM with SPL 1.42. I went to htc/australia wedsite, And they only have the new ROM available for download. Is there a place to download the older ship ROM?? Thank a lot!

This is easy, you just need to flash the older Telstra rom version that uses SPL 1.42.0000. The rom you are looking for is 1.49.841.1 and I think you can download it from HTCPedia. Just ensure it is the Telstra version. Flashing this will ovewrite your current 1.66 SPL back to the correct 1.42 SPL. When you have done this you can use HSPL version 1 and it will work. I know because I did it myself a few days ago
Correct. There is a telstra 1.49 (1.48?) rom floating about, several people have used it to downgrade. Start searching!

I know because I did it myself a few days ago

hspl or hspl2? hspl2 doesnt work no matter what version spl you have. Use the first hspl.
try flashing RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship.exe and then the original HSPL and then a new ROM...

I was also told my HD2 was locked to Telstra but it was not, (I don't believe any of them are now) I can send you the rom I used if you like? HSPL2 won't work as has been said before but HSPL does.
Another option I used while trying to get the right rom/HSPL working was to use SSPL, this worked great but does not allow you to change the radio, and until you can do that there are a few roms you cant use as they don't get on with the Telstra radio.
ps. I had a lot of similar error messages along the way...
I Got it, works perfect, I used the latest T-Mobile Rom from the U.S. on my T9193 Telstra, and its beautiful..thanks everyone for all the very helpful info, I could'nt have done it without you guys and keep up the good work..

Thanks... I saw this on Windows Phone 7 dev. forum and was going to mention it here, but you beat me to it! DL now, not sure if I am ready to flash yet. Any idea how I can get rid of HSPL on my HD7?
HSPL to SPL-XXXXX
i understand that if you install or flash your HD7 with the original ROM it will reset your SPL-XXXX , I hope that answer your question
Is this Rom will work tmous HTC hd7 developers unlocked?
Sent from my HD7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
IF YOU have hard-spl'ed your device
Then this can be done:
Download the RTM provided by Fotball, extract it with in 7zip, delete the spl_signed.nbh (not completle sure if this is needed, but I did it anyway...delete or not at own risk, as always)
flash the rom
And here is where the warning about hard-spl and SPL versions 4.xx comes in, if you want to go back to using hard-spl,
DO NOT DO THAT WHEN USING THIS NEW RTM MANGO ROM
You MUST flash back to your stock rom and then flash rspl+hspl again.
In my case stock rom is: RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_3.01.531.02_Radio_5.65.09.25a_22.45.50.21_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe

Any easy way to flash my HTC HD7 T-Mobile USA
all the processes listed so far seems pretty easy. you need some help with something?
Hi all,
Can I just confirm something here - I've read through the two threads, and its not immediately obvious.
a) if I have no HSPL at all - is this fine
b) if I have 7200.68 upgraded from developer version (without the new HTC radios etc) will I need to flash to an earlier version
I'm pretty sure I've used one of these to update before, seemed easy enough and I didnt install HSPL to my knowledge.
Cheers,
Everytinme I try and run this I get Invalid Vender ID.
It was an O2 Branded HD7 then used the no goldcard method to unbrand it with NOdO
Error 294 INVALID VENDER ID
BOOT LOADER SCEEN:
SPL-1.69.2250.0 (117833)
os version:
7.0.7392.0
Radio version: 5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10u
Any suggestions to get this working?

Upgraded from MS Developers RTM to this version am now getting screen corruption on lock screen (typically if the zune player, in sync mode is open behind it).
Anyone else?
Gordon.
PS Am using gold card method (used Zune update for MS update).
Are people using this leaked ROM and is it working well? I am considering an upgrade to it....
my Phone works great with this rom...battery drain is better than RTM,and my hspa signal is improved,as web surfing
I have the 707 region phone. Is it possible to update my phone by this ROM for 401 region?
Original RUU can't detect my current version from bootloader and lets me to press Update button (current version infomation is empty). I didn't applied any RSPL/HSPL. Can I just press update without a possibility to kill my phone?

that features are not available in our country...really,turn by turn navigation isn't available in any country!!!
I have the TMOUS HD7, why is the 2100 UMTS band so slow??? any one knows the reason? The phone can manage to get the H signal from where I live, my operator has the HSDPA band 1 UMTS 2100Mhz(currently upggraded to HSPA+), but my phone only gets UMTS speeds no HSDPA
It makes me feel that the 2100Mhz UMTS band in the TMOUS is limited to UMTS speeds.
