[REQ] Fonts from XWKH4 - Galaxy S II General

Can someone upload the fonts from /system/fonts? I'm on UHKG7 and the new font looks way better.
Thanks!

You guys seriously haven't found the button to get additional fonts online?

I tried those fonts from that app in the market, the free one Link. The thing is some of the fonts make the celsius value of the accuweather widget to move out of the widget area. It is a good app. Has a lot of variety of fonts but in my opinion maybe the fonts were not selected for galaxy s2.
There should be a simpler way of just getting the font that we want on the phone select font>select size. done.
i looked through the root folders today but only found the droid fonts and not those i installed from the fontomizer app. All i can find are the apks. Can someone suggest a location.

I dont think so. But I can survive with this problem and when I think that this is ugly, I remember my old wildfire stucked on 2.2.1 with 550mhz processor (until yesterday), and then they not look to much ugly to me..
If I found someway to fix it, I'll post it here.
Found a workaround: on app drawer, use "spare parts " and select extra small fonts. I also use Android default font, search for it here on forum.

[ROM][CM7/GB] Pandora Rom [closed]

This project is closed. epic fail.
Great work, I can't seem to add anything to the list . Maybe you can add the miui music player or some other music players, like ttpod or something. That's all I can think of
Cheers

I like the MIUI music style so thats a definate possibility! I'l add it to the list
You could just make an update.zip with the utilites like -gapps, adfree etc which could be flash on stock CM7. (Personal Opinion) But at the end it's your choice. Make sure to have something different.
I want to make some changes to the framework and settings etc so I dont just wanna do an update zip. Im also considering actually using AOSP as its much cleaner as a base rom. also the theme is going to be heavily embedded throughout the rom so its really going to have its own look and feel (Hopefully)
The same way people know cyanogenmod when they see it, i want people to glance at this (and any other rom i make in the future) and say "thats pandora!"
thanks for the post though
Good luck

Thanks Mate.
if my roms are half as good as yours i'll be happy
actually, it takes only a few hours to make a ROM... but if you're gonna include a theme, then it's gonna take loads of time...!!! anyways, good luck!
Thanks very much!
yeh i want to theme EVERY stock app if possible so could be quite time consuming
I think tto change the icons of apps you will need to decompile the apk, exchange the icon and then compile and sign it again. Its not as simple as using a launcher and changing icons.

Yeah if you wanna change in-app icons it isn't as easy as changing the launcher icon. But the hard part it to find an icon to replace it...

@Ava.tar Good luck dude, AOSP based is a good choice Make something different
yeh i am going to change the png's in the ldpi/mdpi folders but i also want to mod a launcher that can do it from screen. like adw launcher you can change the icons by long pressing on the dock. im wondering if there is a launcher that allows customisation of ALL app icons, not just the dock ones.... i dont think it exists though and i dont know enough about it to make one myself..
my theme is black yellow and light grey at the moment and im probably going to use honeycomb/yellow style icons for first release.
on the subject, im trying to strip down the rom and get rid of the cyanogen-y feel thats all over it. does anyone have a settings.apk for GB that still has all the function without Cyanogen. ie. 9lock mod picker, notification colour changer etc? or am i going to have to make it my self?
does anyone have the AOSP zip... i had one but it didnt work. stuck on boot logo EVERYTIME. id prefer to build from AOSP but at the moment i just cant seem to get it working...
HELP!!!
can someone help me please. Im trying to change the colour of the notification icons (battery, signal etc) Im assuming there is an xml file somewhere with the colour info... anyone know where?

Nah, there isn't an xml file. You must replace the icons;p You can find it in drawable mdpi & ldpi folders. I dont remember exactly the names but you will see them.

Fonts for AT&T Galaxy S4 ?

Hey guys,
I can not find any fonts working on galaxy s4.. Is there any fonts available for galaxy s4?
I would like to have "Tahoma" font..
Please help..
Thanks in advance

Thanks zsig For This Awesome Find :::::

Ok, I managed to install custom fonts on my phone.
Here's how to:
1) Install the app iFont (from the google Play Store)
2) Run the app (it should create a folder on your files) and then close it
3) Place your custom font .apk file on the root of that folder
4) Run iFont again, select the "Local" tab. Your font should be there. Select it and tap "Set".
The app will require you to reboot your phone. When you do, it's done.

Every font I've tried to install on my Galaxy S 4 hasn't work. Please let us know if anyone has a solution!!
So I've started a conversation with Samsung Support about the issue. They said they are going to research it and get back to me soon. It took forever for them to understand what I was trying to say! I'll keep you guys posted on any new info they give me. Makes no sense why it was so effortless with the GS3 and Note 2, but it gives us a problem on the S4!

Just a quick update guys, i did install some fonts from samsung apps and guess what it can be used without any font not available issues?
Samsung took out the bookmark sync options, now fonts also works only from samsung apps store. Are they forcing us to use their app store rather than google play?

(Copy and paste everything in the brackets)
We are working on releasing more fonts compatible with the S4 and Note 3.

They only thing I've found to work is an app called iFont that downloads the fonts you want then you just set it.

I aware iFont works ... but the resources suck up a lot of memory ... anyone know what is the actual issue on free flipfont not working on 4.3 ?
You can find the font Switcher for 4.2+ devices here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.pack.switcher
In order to set the font you must first set your phone's font to one of the pre-installed fonts other than the default font. Then try using the Switcher to set the font.
The other option you have is to try some of our other fonts that are compatible with 4.2.2
Please use the button in the Switcher app to find these apps. *Here are a few examples:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.pack.handsome
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.pack.simple
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.pack.scroll
Finf compatible fonts via font switcher then select font via system font selector
Let me know if it works.

That or maybe you are bad at reading. I said "custom" fonts, which means the 1000 or so others that are not preloaded on the S5. Like using apps like Bytafont or Fontswap to change fonts. Typically root is required to do this.

You can change the font style and font size on your device. To change the font settings, from the Home screen, touch Menu Menu key > Settings Settings Shortcut > My device Settings Device Tab Icon > Display Settings Display Icon . Touch Font Style and choose from Default font, Choco cooky, Cool jazz, Rosemary, or Samsung Sans. Touch Get fonts online to download new fonts from Google Play Store.
Touch Font size and choose from Tiny up to Huge. When you select Huge, the font may be shown only in certain applications. In applications that cannot support Huge font size, Large font size will be used instead. :cyclops:
