Screen scrolling - Galaxy S II General

Hey all!
Excuse me for opening a new thread for this but I have searched a lot to find what I want but didn't find it so I guess I need your help guys!
Few month ago I saw a post/thread that mentions an app that modifies the screen initial value to start scrolling!
Excuse my english, I'll try to explain myself: Always and especially while browsing, when you put your finger on screen to start scrolling your finger moves a bit, say 1cm maybe before the screen actually start to scroll (do that slowly and you will notice that).
I don't know what this effect is called, all I remember is that someone mentioned an app that can change this value and perhaps there's also an app in the market that can do so !
Can anyone help me on that please!?
Thank you!

Better keyboard?

Installed cm6.2 and the keyboard is a bit too basic. Any suggestions on a better keyboard app? Swype if at all possible
Thanks

I use SwiftKey, which is wonderful. It does word prediction based on sentences, and in some cases it can finish your sentences for you, even before you start typing them. Even if you don't use that much, it has a great landscape keyboard layout that I prefer to Swype (space bar in the middle, not the right like Swype uses), and it's totally worth the purchase price in the market to me.
I'm not sure I'm ready for the swype stuff so I'm sticking with smart keyboard pro. love it
THIS is my reply in a thread that was created 6 hours before yours. Please search next time, answering the same question 3-4 times in the same days is getting old.
Well sorry. Some of us are on the go and xda app does not give search option to me.
Thanks to someone elses helpful reply I got on swype beta so i'm set.
Thank you

Mouse pointer for pics roms.

Sorry for my noobish question but Is there a fix for this? I've search the entire thread and found nothing.

Could you elaborate some please?

What do you want to fix? The pointer comes up when you touch the dpad an disappears right away.
Unfortunately, there's currently no way to keep the mouse pointer from appearing when touching the trackpad on ICS ROMs right now (at least that's what I'm getting from the countless threads I've read...)
Ohh sorry let me make this more clear, when I touch the touch pad on any ics rom a mouse pointer appears is there a way to remove this?

I don't think you can, most people just look over it..

Just a theory, but if he mods the framework-res apk and edits the mouse pointer to all transparent and repackages shouldn't that make it work for what he wants?

Possibly, but I'm not sure people actually use the trackpad enough for the pointer to be that much of an issue.

Hmm thanks for all the help guys, it doesn't bother me but it would be nice to have the track pad to its original use like in the stock rom but its a want not a need XD

I used the track pad a great deal for editing text, its a no can do with the pointer. I've resorted to just doing that by hand, takes some getting used to but well worth the exchange for a clean ICS Rom!
I found a fix for this issue. If you go to Melchizedeks ics from there is a "trackpad fix" zip. I will post a link later. I was having the same issue, this fixed it for me.

On screen buttons

Since this is going to be my first phone with on screen buttons which I consider a stupid idea I am wondering what can we go with this back bar embeded at the bottom of the screen, Can we make it smaller?, will it be removed in games? Can we add extra buttons or ever widgets to it? Maybe ever make it pages so when you swipe over it it will reveal a rss feed or something. Any ideas on what can be done to make it helpful rather than a hinderance

Once custom roms start rolling out you will be able to change the DPI of the bar.
AOKP i expect will support this feature as they do in current JB Roms
Why don't you like them? I think they're great.

+1
But that's the beauty of Android. We can choose whether they're always shown or not.
