I have a Problem with my Phone. When i watch a Video it shows me vertical lines when i hold it in Vertical position, in horizontal position it is all fine and it works
i have the Android Revolution HD 6.1.0 Rom

Does this happen with all the various resolution settings or in other ROMS?
Same problem and same Rom but only with 720P videos!
it happens only like andreadj72 said with 720p videos when ich watch a youtube clip and flip all is fine
I've been trying to replicate this problem and I can't. Maybe try a re-flash and check before you install any custom apps or anything?
You know wich is the right application to flash for that?
I had the same problem also with an other rom... 720P video wide orinzontal can't be viewed vertically...

Hello! I installed the new firmware and I noticed that the video recording in HD is obscene.
First, the registration window is smaller than that which appears with a normal recording, and secondly, the recording is very jerky and, finally, the video does not play fluid.
It 's normal? It 's a problem of the new firmware? It also happens to others?

Working with the same FW as you, tested 720p High quality and works great.
Any issues?
No problem? Do not have a registration screen smaller? Yet it is smaller than the one you have with normal recording.
Not known of the shots when you move the phone?
Just tried it (n new firmware also) recording does seem a little stuttery - and the screen is smaller than when recording VGA - however - I never checked it on 720p before update so I don't know if it is different?!

The registration window is also smaller in the previous firmware... It's because of the video resolution... And I don't notice any slowing in the video... Cheers

Sorry to resurrect this thread but i've just had the same thing happen to me. The funny thing is - I updated and the video was working fine until today. I took some HD videos the other week and they were perfect.... now... same as was described here.
Did anyone find a fix for this?

I've been having problems recording video on my droid 1. It will record the video fine but when i play it back it looks distorted. It looks as though a portrait type ratio is stretched to fit landscape and vice versa when i rotate it.
I;ve had this problem on both PE v6.5 and Peter Alfonso's GPA builds.
The only time it seems to work ok is when I use an old froyo MIUI (1.3.11 to be exact)
I want to say its the actual video camera app that has the problem, but I'm not too sure. I tried downloading Qik Video Recorder and that seems to work ok, but id rather use the regular vid camera app.
Hi . I Can to Install IceCreamTosti_v0.3 on HD2 .
Now: All right.
Only problem is the video playback and frame stiffness of the frame is displayed.
A place that I go to the gallery and click and encoded programs on Settings box.
But: The gallery setting is not displayed.
How to correct this problem.
The ICS 4.x is quite new.
Users are few and specialists are even fewer.
You can ask the Chef of your ROM or master Tytung. They are the pioneers.
Hi all, I have found a problen with the video cam on the note 4. When I try to move while capturing video, the video jumps/skips. Please look at thw attached video.
I have tried saving video on the built on memory but still the same result. Also tried differwnt settings and resolution to no avail. Anyone else have the same issue?

Just to update this thread for future reference, I have returned the phone and got a replacement N910C (instead of F). This new one has no problem with camera etc..

In YouTube we have this stretch to screen option. But when I use it during a video the ratio often come back to normal alone...
