I saw that letstalk.com had the Epic Touch 4G to be shipped today (Sept. 12th). Mine's awaiting carrier approval, but I'm eager to see if anyone else's order has shipped.
I am putting a hex on anyone that gets it before me! Kidding obviously. 9am on Friday...it will be mine! My second line doesn't reset until 12am on the 16th so I couldn't pre-order it.

I was told on phone that it will not be ready to ship until friday later in day. They said if the release day is on the 16th then that's when they receive the phone. I don't know how true that is. I would imagine they would get it at least one or two days in advance, but I could be wrong.

I just ordered mines over the phone. I was told they won't be receiving the phone till Friday. So it won't ship till Friday. Hopefully the person was wrong and they receive and ship the phone early. Either way I got the overnight shipping for an extra $18. Now lets play the waiting game and watch more "amateur hour" reviews.

I just called amazonwireless customer service and they said if its an older grandfathered in play, you'd have to order it through sprint. But customer service isn't always right so....
Ordered mine on Sunday from letstalk/walmart and also chose the $18 overnight shipping. My status has been on "Carrier Approval" for 2 full business days, Sprint pulled my credit report on Sunday.
I do also remember the website explicitly saying orders would start shipping the 12th, but it doesn't seem like that is accurate.

I've just confirmed with chat that they don't do Saturday delivery, either, which means we won't be receiving these until Monday. I suppose it was still worth it for saving $70 or so, but that's still too bad.

I was told the same thing on Saturday delivery. Its going to be a long weekend. I think a bottle of Cognac and some drunk postings is in order to help get past the weekend.

I preordered mine yesterday at Best Buy, 16gb Pebble Blue. Got an XtremeGuard full body protector coming for it and gonna order up a TPU case tonight so I have some sort of protection for it until my Otterbox arrives. I hope we (US S4 GS3) get our dev section soon so our devs can do what they do. It never ceases to amaze me at what those guys can do

It was an instant rebate. I highly doubt a rebate will be in the box. If that was the case, I would be getting mine for $99. Sounds like the rep doesn't know what they're talking about. I would call again and explain what the other rep told you. If you are upgrade eligible, you should only pay $199 plus tax.

after going through 4 methods to try to pre-order and retain my unlimited data, i decided... i'm just going into the store on launch day. that way i can 1) get the phone at 9am instead of waiting till i get home from work and 2) keep my unlimited without extra hassle (the store has no problem keeping unlimited on immediate phone sales but for some reason it doesn't work for them on pre-orders)
bought mine online at bestbuy.com had no problems keeping my plan or unlimited data intact
I'm wondering what people are getting for sd cards, there's quite a few 32gb out there, only a couple 64gb ones... I think i'll stick with the 32gb as it took me 2 years to fill up the 16gb on my sgs1... are there any reviews, comparison, etc for these micro cards? i know these sd cards can really vary in terms of r/w speeds and what not.

Edit. With SD cards, you want the highest class number. Those are the fastest. But be careful because the most extreme speedy cards might not be supported.

All orders will go to a backordered status because there isn't any actual stock as of now. I ordered at 1am, an hour after preorders went live, and mine also says backordered. The same exact thing happened when I preordered the One X and it shipped on time.

I checked the confirmation email and order status and no where does it say 'back order', just 'pre-order'. I've never pre-ordered before so I have no prior experience with this, either. Hopefully everybody will get theirs on the same day no matter what it says...
Ordered your GS3 from BB? I feel your pain, never gonna preorder from a 3rd party again. But if you have any info re: BB preorders, post it up here.
I gotta say, my whole reason for preordering through Best Buy was because they were the first to open for preorders. They started accepting preorders on 6.5.12, everyone else the following day, so I surmised that at best I'd get the phone slightly before everyone else or at worst the same time as AT&T. The sad truth is that although I preordered before 99% of the people here, I'll likely be one of the last to get the damn thing.
That being said, I'll never preorder though Best Buy again. They are as wildly uninformed as AT&T but when push comes to shove, BB gets pushed to the side as if somehow it's customers (who's money goes directly to AT&T just the same) aren't as important as those who preordered through AT&T direct. The one's who lose are us, the customers. Lesson learned. If I ever preorder a phone again, rest assured it will be direct from the carrier.
Sorry for the rant, just sucks to see so many people who preordered after I did get their phone, or at least shipping confirmation (with delivery eta 6.21.12) before I even know if my preorder is going to be filled on or before 6.21.12 as stated on my preorder receipt.
I preordered in a Best Buy store and have no reason to think I wont be able to pick my phone up tomorrow.

Morning shipments. Best buy does not do any inventory things at night. They will arrive in stores via UPS or FedEx.

Just went into my best buy store here in frisco, texas. When I arrived the salesman showed me an internal email they received that stated that the pre orders would be closer to july first before they would be filled.
As I was walking out the salesman called me back over to show me a new email they received that said the preorders would be fulfill tomorrow.
Bottomline, the store doesn't have a clue nor does the best buy home office.

Couple guys in the main Sprint pre-orders thread said they received calls from their local Best Buy telling them to expect a call around noon tomorrow to pick up their phone. They were both expecting shipments by tomorrow morning.
I've been checking the status every since I saw that thread about ABT and TD shipping before the release date and I noticed that my order status says 1 item(s) Status Not Available.
Is this normal?

It shows up in my transactions as a pending charge. They said they would charge the card once the order was shipped, but I've just signed in and I don't even see the pending charge in there anymore.

Was in best buy today and peered in the cage in the Samsung area of the store and what did I see? Boxes of note 2014s... Right there in plain site. Asked the sales guys about it and they said no, we don't have them. Took them over to the cage and said what is that... Oh man we can't sell those until the 10th so we better hide them. Wouldn't sell me one but they did open the cage and put them out of sight. I mentioned they were already shipping from other retailers but they wouldn't budge. Oh well, wait for the preorder shipment.

Well hopefully I'll still be able to get it on before the end of the week (Thursday or Friday). I usually go home on Friday afternoons to visit my parents and I'd really like to be able to set up the device over the weekend so I can have it ready for school on Monday.
I preordered from Best Buy only because I didnt have any funds available on my other credit cards. That might be a plus since BB's protection plans have always done me good so I got that for my note too. My order says "in progress" and when I click on the actual note line item, it tells me status not available. When I made the purchase though it did tell me it wouldnt ship until the 10th.
But now it makes me wonder if I should just change the method of shipping to pick up at the store.

Yea I placed an order with Tiger Direct, and I'll speak with them tomorrow or Monday. If they can't promise me a tablet by Thursday then I'll cancel my order with them and just call my local Best Buy and do an express check out. For some reason I don't have the option to place a pre-order for in-store pickup. Hopefully Tiger Direct will ship mine early, but I'm not expecting much. I'm prepared to just go to BB right when it opens to purchase on in the store. I've learned my lesson. I won't fool around with pre-orders anymore. Better off just picking up in store.

I usually get all my devices in white (in this case white 32GB) but thinking I should have gotten the black. The back part getting dirty is starting to get to me since I'll be using it every single day for hours on end. Here's hoping they ship today. I'm using this tablet for college and it would be great to have the opportunity to have the weekend to get it ready for next week.
That's only if my anxiousness doesn't get to me and I don't cancel the preorder to pick up at the store. ^^;;

So what this means is they are giving a "timeframe" of 2-10 business days for shipment.
This is bold face lying to the customer. To say you can "buy" the device on 11/14 was never true. Sprint basically said they would sell you one but never had stock.
A Sprint employee on the Sprint subreddit (r/sprint) said that the Sprint warehouses are still showing 0 inventory, which means stores will also be at 0 inventory today. So disappointing.

Last Thursday there were ~15 cargo ships parked off the Los Angeles ports waiting to unload due to a truck driver protest. Don't think it's any better today.
Got off the Chat again with customer care. I requested a credit. They issued a $15 credit due to the trouble.

Maybe that is true. I just tried to cancel my Nexus 6 order for a Note 4 (I know, I know). But the rep said that he couldn't cancel it because the Nexus is ready to be shipped!!!

Did a Jump upgrade today at 6:00am, few hours after the GS7-Edge became available. Couple of hours later it showed as "Processing Order".
Did anyone hear from T-mo when are they planning to ship out? When I've ordered my GS6-Edge last year, T-mo shipped the phone few days before the official release date (back then it was April-11).
I know its only few days to wait but you guys know how it is with new toys
I'm also waiting for that shipping status to update. My guess is we'll get it about a week early. Even Samsung unboxed event, I think the VP? Said they might even get shipped early

Just had a call with T-mo customer service - she mentioned Mar-11 but I guess this is the "official answer". I was hoping she will shed more light but we'll have to wait and see

Yeah don't listen to them, yesterday the lady told me pretty orders won't be accepted until next week on tuesday. Can u believe that nonsense?

They say it ships by the 10th
In the UK I pre-ordered on Monday morning with Vodafone and was told I'd get it on the 8th, as pre-orders ship 3 days earlier than release and I was amongst the first to do so. I won't hold my breath though, Vodafone are f*****g useless with things like that so I wouldn't be surprised to get it on the 11th, or even later.
Still, getting it early wasn't why I pre-ordered so I won't be too bothered. I pre-ordered to get two VR headsets, one for each of the S7 Edges I ordered.
AT&T said they would ship on 3/7 with the disclaimer that this was subject to change.
If history repeats, tmo tends to ship a week early.

Agree. Got my GS6-Edge on the 5th of April with an announcement date of 11th of April last year.
anyone elses preorder show free 2-4 day shipping instead of the overnight chosen when ordering?
I did mine via phone. CS told me it will ship overnight and should be at my place on launch day.

Wierd, I ordered online and chose free overnight but the order status shows 2 to 4 day shipping, then when I called they told me online orders don't qualify for free overnight

Ordered my s7edge on phone on the 23rd. Rep said it would be overnight delivery and I'd have it on the 11th, but then also said that Tmo has a history of trying to get them out sooner than others so I should have it on the 11th at the latest. Got $80 for my s5 on trade in though.

I received mine on 3/29, ordered on 3/27. official release day was 4/10, IIRC.
Pre-ordered in store (JOD upgrade). Free overnight mailed to my house.
^ would be awesome if this arrived to my door before the 11th!
FWIW Samsung is opening up the SamsungPromotions.com signup on 3/4... Why they would open it up a week prior to launch when you have to have the physical device present to redeem is anyones guess.
