Myths about unlocking bootloader
0. You can unlock your bootloader on a SIM-locked phone
1. Real dual touch for synaptic devices.
2. Higher max CPU overclock frequency.
3. Sim-unlock your phone (allow it to use any carrier)

Updates to this:
1. GUIDE UPDATE (finally lolz -- added new download links and made some edits)
Still using the old tools method -- more complicated to use but flexible (doesn't obligate stock to unlock, but please keep to GB and below)
My guide is not the simplest to understand, nor is it the most up-to-date, but if done and read correctly it gives you the most information about BL and kernels and also is quite safe .

Hold your horses! Check if your phone will be hard bricked by the bootloader unlock process!
If your phone's manufacture date is 11W29 or PAST 11W29, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER. IT WILL MOST LIKELY RESULT IN A HARD BRICK (though some users managed to successfully unlock).
Original post by B.Jay here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481630
#####################################################
Before I start I must emphasise the fact that meddling with the bootloader is highly dangerous and will result in a hard brick if you don't follow proper instructions. Then, you will have to go and repair your phone by sending it to SE . I am not responsible if your phone dies on you because you didn't follow instructions or you screwed up somehow. I must also mention that this will probably void your warranty (rooting already probably voided it though) and that there is NO WAY to relock bootloader as of now.
Still interested? Details are below.
Requirements: Rooted phone, Sony Ericsson PC Companion installed in PC, Courage
You do not need to have a sim lock on your phone to unlock your bootloader.
Recommended: Disable your antivirus (it might find a "virus" in ADB.exe even though there isn't one and might even interfere in bootloader unlocking process) Use stock rom (I managed to unlock bootloader on GingerDX v013 though and users have managed to unlock it in Froyobread v23b and MiniCM7 2.0.7 | Don't try on ICS roms)
Note: Unlocking the bootloader of your phone will restore the original sim lock of your phone (if you had any) unless if you unlocked with EMMA/IMEI unlock code or it was factory-unlocked or if SE unlocked it!
However, some users have reported that using msm7227_semc.cmd on their sim-unlocked phones did not restore the sim lock onto their phone. This has not been confirmed as of yet. Unlock the bootloader on your sim unlocked phone AT YOUR OWN RISK!

1. Download the files needed for the unlock. (Credits go to the_laser for this tool.)
Original Post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17384177&postcount=3
One big bundle of files: http://upload.riicc.sg/viewfolder.php?hash=LVW5TS2ZSX
Download and extract the archive. Contains X8, W8, X10 mini and X10 mini pro stock kernels, the unlock tool and also the updated S1tool that can relock your bootloader!
____________________________________________________
1a. Download Flashtool too (needed for S1tool to work properly and for loading custom kernels next time) and install it (not necessary if you already have Flashtool):
Download and install Flashtool (follow instructions on the website): http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/
(Credits go to Androxyde and Bin4ry for this tool.)
After installing it, open the flashtool folder and open the drivers folder inside that. Double click on the .exe file inside and install your device's ADB driver (for W8 use the X8 ones) and the Flash mode drivers.
Then restart your computer.
Open task manager and kill any ADB.exe process you find in there and don't load Flashtool for the rest of the installation process.
_______________________________________________________________
Also, download and install PC Companion (not needed if you already have PC Companion on your computer) here (needed for the bootloader unlocking process).
Link: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
Then just double click the .exe file and install PC Companion. Connect your phone to the PC after doing this and open Sony Ericsson PC Companion. Ensure that your phone is recognised by PC Companion.
_______________________________________________________________
Step 2.
Note: If your antivirus finds virus in ADB.exe, disable the antivirus. There is NO virus in ADB.exe and the antivirus will interfere in unlocking bootloader.
2a. Turn off your phone.
2b. Open the directory you unzipped S1tool to and run S1tool.exe. Then, click on IDENTIFY button before proceeding to step 2c.
2c. Boot your phone into flash mode (make sure you installed your device's drivers found in step 1a first). All users, press and hold back button while connecting cable from PC to phone. Continue holding back button until you get some output. The LED on your phone should flash green if it is in flash mode.
Example of output:
Code:

If the simlock certificate specified is SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, or anything other than NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, jump to step 3.
If the simlock certificate specified is NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, you can't unlock the bootloader of your phone. If you try, radio capability of your phone will be disabled (this has been reported to be untrue by a number of people who claim to have unlocked bootloader successfully with msm7227_semc.cmd).
Do note that the SIMLOCK certificate doesn't mean that you have/don't have a sim lock on your phone.
3. Disconnect your phone from the computer, boot it up, and then reconnect your phone to your computer.
4. Enable USB debugging on your phone.
Note: Don't run Flashtool and terminate any ADB.exe process you find in task manager before performing step 5.
5. If you had
1: the SEMC SIMLOCK CERTFICATE message or if you
2: unlocked your phone using EMMA/IMEI code
3: or if your phone was already unlocked when you bought it (first-hand phone)
4: or if your phone is sim-locked
___________________________________________________________________________
THEN
run msm7227_semc.cmd in the directory you unzipped the unlocking files to and press any key to start the unlocking process. Alternatively, you could use Flashtool to bootloader-unlock your phone (if you want to use Flashtool, go to step 5c). Go to step 5b.
If you
1. had the SETool unlock certificate
THEN
go to step 5a.[/U]
5a. Run msm7227_Setool2.cmd in the directory you extracted the bootloader unlock tool to and press any key to start the process. Alternatively, you could use Flashtool to bootloader-unlock your phone (if you want to use Flashtool, go to step 5c)
5b. Open the example log included in the files. Wait 5 minutes. Then, compare the text in the window to those in the example log. They should be similar. Also, the last message on the window should be Press any key to continue. Note: It is recommended to turn off your antivirus before starting this as antivirus might interfere with the unlocking of bootloader on your phone (some antivirus software claim that there is virus in ADB.exe even though there isn't one)
Text in example log:
Code:

Press any key to continue . . .
Note: If your log is very different from this please check if your bootloader is unlocked using step 7. If it is not unlocked, turn off your antivirus and repeat step 5 again. If you get some "error: protocol fault" messages, that is completely fine, this is because the "problem" is that your phone was still rebooting and USB debugging mode is not turned on when rebooting so it couldn't acquire the status and had an error. If you get many "Access is denied" messages, turn off your antivirus and try again. Some users reported that the "Access is denied" messages were eradicated and they successfully unlocked their bootloaders after turning off their antivirus.
5c.
Start Flashtool, connect your phone and then wait for your phone to be recognized.
Then, go to: Plugins/(insert device name here) Unlock/run
A screen will pop up and ask you to connect your phone in Flash mode
1. Unplug the USB cable from your phone.
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Press and hold the "Back" button on your phone.
4. Plug in the USB cable to your phone.
5. Release the "Back" button after the screen that popped up disappears.
The unlocking process will start.
Wait until Flashtool asks you to disconnect the cable off the phone, then turn on the device and connect the usb cable once again.
Wait for Flashtool to push the required files to your phone.
After a while, Flashtool will have 4he message "Successfully applied unlock" and the phone will reboot.
______________________________________________________________
6. Disconnect your phone from the PC. Congratulations, your phone has an unlocked bootloader now!
7. To verify if your bootloader is unlocked successfully, again, use S1tool found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17374120&postcount=26.

After installing it, open the flashtool folder and open the drivers folder inside that. Double click on the .exe file inside and install the ADB drivers for your phone AND the flash mode drivers (needed for S1tool to work).
After downloading s1tool and extracting it to an appropiate location on your PC (not needed you already have S1tool), shut down your phone.
Open s1tool.exe found in the directory you extracted s1tool to and then click IDENTIFY button.
Boot your phone into flash mode (Press and hold back button while connecting it to your PC using an usb cable. The LED on your phone should flash green). Continue holding back button until you get some output.

Troubleshooting section:
Common Problems:
1. My SIM Card is not recognised after unlocking phone with msm7227_setool2.cmd!
Ans: Redo unlocking procedure (step 5 onwards) using msm7227_semc.cmd.
2. I get lots of "Access is denied" messages while unlocking!
Ans: Disable your antivirus and try the unlocking process again. Antivirus finds a virus in ADB.exe even though there isn't one!
3. I get some "error: protocol fault" messages!
Ans: It's normal and this isn't a problem. This is because the tool is inquiring for your phone while the phone is rebooting. USB debugging mode isn't on when phone is rebooting so it causes some errors. Eventually, your phone will connect with your PC so this is not an issue.
4. I get some "exec /system/bin/sh failed" messages!
Ans: Reroot your phone using SuperOneClick and try again.
SuperOneClick link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
5. Default camera doesn't work after unlocking!
Ans:
1. Reflash baseband 15 again.
2. Reflash stock 2.1 using flashtool.
3. Test camera, it will have the message "Indexing Media File" on the screen.
4. Wait until it disappear from the screen.
5. Reboot
6. Test camera and it will work fine.
6. I get a lot of "daemon not started successfully" and "failed to start daemon" messages!
Ans: Disconnect phone, exit the command window, reconnect phone, and try unlocking your phone's bootloader again. Repeat until there is no more of such messages and bootloader is successfully unlocked. Also, make sure you have installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion in step 1 and that it recognises your phone.
If you have a problem that is not listed above please post it in this thread

Basically this is just a mini tutorial for those wanting to unlock their bootloaders.
Requirements: Rooted X8, X8 drivers, Courage
Recommended: Use stock rom
Note: Unlocking the bootloader of your phone will restore the sim lock of your phone! (if any)
1. Download the files needed for the unlock at the bootloader unlocked thread.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17338716&postcount=300
2. Unzip the files into an appropiate location on your PC.
3. Connect your phone to your computer.
4. Enable USB debugging on your phone.
5. This step will vary depending on whether you have sim unlocked your phone. If yes, jump to step 5a.
If no, run xxxxsemc.exe in the directory you unzipped the unlocking files to and press any key to start the unlocking process. At the same time, open the example log included in the files. Wait 5 minutes. Then, compare the text in the command window to those in the example log. They should be similar. Also, the last message on the command window should be Press any key to continue.
5a. If you sim unlocked your phone using anything other than SEtool, you can't unlock your bootloader for now . If you sim unlocked your phone with SEtool, then run xxxxsetool2.exe in the directory you unzipped the unlocking files to and continue reading from where you left off at step 5.
6. Disconnect your phone from the PC. Congratulations, your X8 is now bootloader unlocked!

Yeah, really, it's better to wait to see, because probably when we have a custom kernel there is a easier way to crack the BL (i think, but yeah, this way is very simple already xD)
But lets wait to have more feedbacks and have some custom kernels with some modules built-in and some cool things
I hope we have a Custom Kernel that supports Symbian, because it's very good to daily use and now it's also Open Source!

Please remind people that if the bootloader gets f**ed up somehow in the process, the phone gets bricked, truly bricked, with no way to unbrick unless it's sent to SE or if you can connect it to the computer tru jtag/service header.

Not sure if it is important. I was on GingerDX.

it is important i think, i read something in the DEV's topic that says that we have to be in eclair or what else, i don't know, but it is easy to get back to 2.1, just open up the SE PC Companion and do REPAIR, then open SuperOneClick to ROOT, use that APK that installs XRecov and you're done
It will take 15mins to REPAIR + 5/10 to Root and intall XRecov. It's fast and easy

done, pretty easy. one click, one key press. simple

simple tutorial, thanks

how to repair totally damaged s1 android phones, based on msm7227,qsd8250, using alternative security bypass using testpoint?
a:
Here is procedure.
okay, here is example how to resurrect totally dead x10 phone.
so, we have x10 phone with totally erased semcboot and trim area.
phone does not turn on, does not connect to pc anyhow.
lets resurrect it.
run setool2, select x10 as model, select com port as interface
( one where GPG resurrection cables connected )
1.
on options set signed mode, altbypass mode, use testpoint (gnd type)
2.
connect GPG x10 resurrection craddle to phone, press RECOVERY
follow program instructions.
important notice:
for msm7227 phones, insert battery in phone after you attached testpoint.
btw, as phone has erased semcboot, you do not need apply testpoint that time.
however, that is very special case, so for simplicity lets apply testpoint all time.
here is operation output:
Code:
SIGNED MODE (USING SERVER)
ALTERNATIVE SECURITY BYPASS ENABLED
CFG:110010000010
DETACH USB CABLE FROM PHONE
REMOVE BATTERY FROM PHONE
ATTACH TESTPOINT
ATTACH USB CABLE TO PHONE,THEN PRESS "READY"

now we recovered semcboot and prepared trim area for loading.
if phone only had erased semcboot, it will already work after that step.
but our phone TOTALLY damaged, so lets proceed with second step:
we need now load trim area.
options are same for step1 + "format gdfs when writing" checked,
select x10.zip in misc.edit and press "write gdfs".
( any trim area, read from corresponding model live phone will work )
follow program instructions.
here is operation output:

[HOWTO]Unlock your X8/X10 mini/X10 mini pro/W8 bootloader(SIMPLIFIED FOR NOOBS)

HOW TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER NEWBIES LOOK HERE
Alright if you are reading this thread I assume you are a noob(no offense) so I'm going to simplify(as in speak in simple english, not programming jargon) the process which is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
BEFORE YOU EVEN TRY ANYTHING, TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY COVER, TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY, AND CHECK YOUR MANUFACTORING DATE. IF IT IS 11W29 OR ABOVE, DO NOT TRY THIS AS IT WILL HARD BRICK YOUR PHONE.
So first you have to download some files.
.Unlock Software-Credits goes to the_laser(msm7227)
.s1tool-Credits goes to the_laser(s1tool.7z)
.PCCompanion
.Flashtool 0.6.8.0
.Gordon's Gate
1. Now the first step is to install Gordon's Gate. It works for X8, X10 and X10 mini pro. It should work with W8 too but I won't guarantee. Once you have done that, restart your computer.
2. Then, open task manager(even noobs should know how), click on processes and kill any ADB.exe process you find in there and DO NOT load Flashtool for the rest of the installation process. If you do not have PC Companion, download the given attachment and install it. Once that is done, connect your phone to your PC and ensure that it can recognize your phone.
3. Now, unzip the s1tool.7z and msm7227.7z and extract thefiles to a folder on your desktop, naming the folder anything you want. I named it X8 Bootloader Unlock so that it is easy to recognise.
4. Disable your antivirus as it might recognise ADB.exe as virus. There is NO virus in ADB.exe and the antivirus will interfere with the unlocking process
5a. Turn off your phone.
b. Open the folder you unzipped S1tool to and run S1tool.exe. Then, click on IDENTIFY/DO JOB button before proceeding to step 5c.
c. Boot your phone into flash mode(insert USB cable while holding down the back button; make sure you installed Gordon's Gate found in step 1). Continue holding back button until you get some output in S1tool. The LED on your phone should flash green if it is in flash mode.
It should look something like this:
9/9/2011 21:41:44 Welcome to S1 identify tool

9/9/2011 21:45:49 Elapsed:36 secs.
IF THE HIGHLIGHTED R IS SMALL LETTER(r), YOUR BOOTLOADER IS ALREADY UNLOCKED. If not, continue.
If the simlock certificate(Bolded, underlined and coloured red) specified is SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, or anything other than NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE, or if you are sure you sim-unlocked your phone using Omnius, jump to step 6a.
I recommend you do not try as you are a noob.
Do note that the SIMLOCK certificate doesn't mean that you have/don't have a sim lock on your phone.
6a. Disconnect your phone and reboot, then reconnect again.
b. Enable USB Debugging on your phone(Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging)
Note: Don't run Flashtool and terminate any ADB.exe process you find in task manager before performing step 6c.
c. Since you are a newbie, I will only be posting how to unlock phones with SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE. For the others, please try the forum link above, but bewarned, you should be experienced before you try those.
7a. Run msm7227_semc.cmd in the folder you unzipped the unlocking files to and press any key to start the unlocking process.
7b. Open the example log included in the folder. Wait 5 minutes. Then, compare the text in msm7227_semc.cmd to those in the example log.

Note: If your log is very different from this please check if your bootloader is unlocked using step 5c. If it is not unlocked, turn off your antivirus and repeat step 7a again. If you get: could not find specified folder(like me when I tried the first time) use another computer(preferably laptop).
Alternatively, you could unlock your bootloader with Flashtool, although it didn't work for me.
After a while, Flashtool will have the message "Successfully applied unlock" and the phone will reboot.
8. Disconnect your phone from the PC. Congratulations, your phone has an unlocked bootloader now!

How to check if your phone has an unlocked bootloader
Open s1tool.exe found in the folder you extracted s1tool to and then click IDENTIFY/DO JOB button.
Boot your phone into flash mode (Press and hold back button while connecting it to your PC using an usb cable. The LED on your phone should flash green). Continue holding back button until you get some output in s1tool.

thank you for the helpful post but there are threads about this already
Just in case there are some people(like the guy we met yesterday, totally a pain to explain things to him) who do not understand this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225
Run msm7227_semc.cmd in the folder you unzipped the unlocking files to and press any key to start the unlocking process.
this apps bricked my friends sony ericsson W8, no power, no green light, no response, is there any way to unbrick it? thanks
Yes, first start up PC Companion. Click on software support and and then Phone Software update. Click on repair and choose your phone model. Then once it has finish preparing the files it will tell you to off your phone that kind of stuff. Now take out your battery and put it back, and immediately after that press and hold back button and insert usb cable. The LED should flash green. If it does not, try again. If you are sure you did it correctly, try to boot up your phone. If it does not vibrate, then you might have just got an expensive brick. Sorry about that. It worked for many people.
Click thanks if I helped!
Look at the first few lines of my post. BEFORE YOU EVEN TRY ANYTHING, TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY COVER, TAKE OUT YOUR BATTERY, AND CHECK YOUR MANUFACTORING DATE. IF IT IS 11W29 OR ABOVE, DO NOT TRY THIS AS IT WILL HARD BRICK YOUR PHONE.
Check it by taking out your battery and look for a number that looks like this, for example-10W40 or 11W28? If it is 11W29 and above, it's not my fault... You have to go to Sony Mobile to get it fixed
Thanks mate, my friends phone is already fixed from cellphone shop, good thing the IMEI didn't affected, but it cost a little
i realy need that !
thnak you
This works also for the phones locked by code ?
This sucks..i have 11w40 so i can't unlock my bootloader, whatever i got that SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE...I havent tried yet cuz i'm afraid it will brick my lovely phone

Hm, XperienceX8, are you sure, that this is really necessary for persons without clear understanding what they are doing,to unlock their bootloader? Because the main reason for unlocking is to flash custom kernel, and later on custom ROM. Do you have similar walkthrough for all this operations? and, of course, are you ready to answer for newbies bricks?
there are a lot of easier ways to either get a brick (e.g. pull it into a bath ) or customize your phone (download themes pack ).
my date is 11w04,setool1 said semc simlock, and i am still afraid of phone brick.last time i bricked the 11w38 and the repair shop didnt mount the graphics card-any 3d app has screen shutter, and that problem isnt fixed.if i brick it again,i can ask them to fix the graphics card too.so is it worth it?? 11W04,SEMC SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE

Ok...question: my x8 is before the 11/30 date. But when I get to the point to reconnect in flash mode it cancels on me. A blue.line of text says cancelled, and it asks have I it in mtb mode or something? I looked but that function in only in older models. I have yet to connect in flashmode for flash tool. Any suggestions? Maybe your 1st solution is a viable alternative for me? Can't figure it..

x10 weird thing.

Well im having a hard time on my sony erricson x10. Last night i decided to flash it with the cm9 rc0 that is here somewhere.
I Started by doing the bootloader unlock making a kernel downgrade (X10_aZuZu_Kernel_Downgrade_Generic) then the unlock it self (qsd8250) and finaly the kernel upgrade (X10_aZuZu_Kernel_upgrade_Generic). All went fine. Then i flashed with x10_2.3.3_stock-with-xrecovery-v3.ftf and tried to install the rom (FXP115_update-cm-9.0.0-RC0-anzu-UNOFFICIAL-signed.zip) that did not went well for some how.
I had to use the pc companion and make a re-install. All went ok and now i end with a phone that starts ok i enter the pin for the sim card, and when i should see the "desktop" and icons i see nothing just the walpaper and the bar on top wich i can scroll down and view a message "no service".
I cant flash nothing more just the downgrade and upgrade kernel thing the x10_2.3.3_stock-with-xrecovery-v3.ftf (wich i have downloaded a few times from diferent places) gives the following line " ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed""
Im out of ideias :/ any one can help me?
PS: I have spent 7 hours googling here and everywhere and nothing relevant comes up.
Find the stock ftf for 2.3 and flash, then use the newest flashtool to root and add recovery then unlock the bootloader with the flashtool. All can be done with newest flashtool! Then install cm9! Simple as that

Simple Solution to your Problem
Hi,
See my post on how to simply root, unlock bootloader and Install Custom ROMs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1607452
Solution to your problem:
1. Go to Sony Ericsson PC Companion and go to Support Zone and update Software. (it will give you a option to reinstall the OS).
2. Reinstall the OS through, It will install and your phone will become to factory conditions.
3. Now follow my thread (Link above) to simply root, unlock the boot loader and install a Custom ROM. (Maximum time required is less than 10min).
No need to downgrade/upgrade kernel, do this, do that, check this, check that and all... it is very simple procedure.
Just one click for one job.
Enjoy.
You the men i cannot express my hapinnes in words. it would be F*%$#@ amazing
So many thanks to all i have found a user in same situation and helped it

Bootloaer Locked Forever?

Hi all,
Firstly I want to apologise if this has been asked before. I have hand-on-heart spent the equivalent of 48hrs solid searching for the answer over the last few weeks for this.
I have a rooted X10i running 2.3.3 (Stock). I have tried everything to unlock my bootloader, but it seems to be impossible to unlock.
Is this the case or am I missing a trick or something? Can anyone please help me?

Well to be honest i think there is not such thing called Permanent Locked Bootloader , well same situation happened to me yesterday when i was trying to flash my 1st ROM for Xperia X10i , but something happened and i forgot to copy the zip file to the SD ......... Anyway , just try to unlock it by Flashtool v0.9.80 , and also download s1tool to check if it's unlocked or not , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343 Here , i followed those instructions
Unfortunately this guide and several others are the ones I have been following.
I have just tried to unlock the bootloader using flashtool64 0.9.9.0 and have gotten the following error:

Ok , here what you should do , you have Kernal Downgrade and Upgrade right from the Rooting thing , aZuZu , well 1st Flash Downgrade , after it's done , unplug the device then turn it on then plug the usb , then wait until root press appears , plus use this flashtool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196421&page=1, when the rooting is done , flash the upgrade , then turn on the device , and go back to Flashtool 0.9.9.0 , wait until it recognize your phone , then if you can see the Ask Root Perms appears press it until and press allow in your phone in SuperUser , then wait until Flashtool tool says Root Access Allowed , if it says so install xRecovery 0.3G , then you go to Plugins> you will see bootloader unlock -- i guess , i'm using 0.9.8.0 -- , then press Run , do what Flashtool says , then test it with s1tool if it's r not R , then your bootloader is unlocked , Well Enjoy Flashing After That lol xD , Good Luck , Hope this work

Don't try to unlock
Your network will surely be gone
You have another way to unlock bootloader
First you have to sim unlock your phone using setool (search google for it)
Then check with s1tool, it will show setool sim certificate
. Then you can unlock bootloader safely
don't do it, i tried that after sim unlock with omnius and then i got NO network.
I had the backup of the trim area... that was my luck. For what i can see the bootlader unlock is now impossible for me, or i have to pay again to sim unlock with seetool.
@THeLogiC if he uses setool2 to sim unlock his phone there is no need to use the s1tool, as the setool2 unlocks the boot loader while it sim unlocks the phone, as thats how i got mine done when the_laser first did the bootloader unlock.
