Viewing photos in gallery - Focus General

So, im starting to find this very annoying but is there any possible way to view my pictures in higher quality? I sync a bunch of pics i took with my dslr and when i view them on this phone they look like crap. I view the same pictures on my X10 and there high quality. What gives here??

Pixelated camera pictures

The picture although have improved with the hot fix but I find that the picture is still very pixelated. For example, if you take a picture and you zoom into the picture on your PC, you can see each pixel, edges are hard and not smooth and there is a lot of noise. It seems like as if a picture was blown up to be 5 megapixel when it isn't or there is some sort of bad compression? I already set the quality to be highest. The capture format is fixed to JPEG and I cannot change it.
did you turn off widescreen mode to get true 5mp?
yes.. o wellz i guess it just can't compare to the nokia cameras.. but none the less it is good enough as i will never zoom in like that in real life...

Is there any way to..

Make the pictures bigger when you upload them to facebook? I find them a bit small and not the best quality when I upload my photos from my HD2.

[Q] optimal picturesize for contact pictures?

I haven't got a DHD yet, but i'm planning to buy it.
Because i'm interested in photography, i've got lots of pictures of my family and friends on my harddiskdrive. Picturesize and filesize of these pictures are very large, because they are taken with a dslr-camera, so they are oversized for DHDs contact pictures.
This is because i want to reduce the picturesize (and filesize) of these pictures, but i don't know which is the optimal resolution for contact picture.
Does anyone know, which picturesize offers best quality or which picturesize is maximumly necessary?

i dont know, but interestingly, i took contact photos on the DHD and the contact photos were really blurry, so im confused why so
Why are you doing a full quote? It isn't necessary in this case.
Taking contactphotos with the phone is not my intention. The forum is full of questions like yours (blurry contact pictures, because of syncing with google contacts, facebook, ... and s.o.!).
This should not be the question in this thread. I only want to know, which size is optimal for showing sharpy and non blurry contact pictures. Is the full, native resolution (800x480) necessary?

blurry and sandy pictures

pictures taken with hd2 camera look blurry and sandy, i read a lot about tweaks etc but still have that sandy and blurry effect and it's more noticeable when you watch them on the pc, is hd2 camera faulty/poor quality or there's a solution available? also your camera does the same? did you resolve this annoying problem?

Not to be a smart ass, but did you clean the lense?
Could you maybe supply a couple of photos also are you taking the pictures in WM or Android?.

TERRIBLE pictures?

Has anyone found a fix for their phone taking terrie pictures? Any kind of indoor photos I take, any source if light is blinding. For such a high mp camera the detail is awful as well. My nexus 6p with an 11mp camera took infinitely better pictures, and that's really disappointing. There's also a lot of noise!
Try different camera apps. Some apps seem to take better pictures than others.
But I also noticed that pictures often look bad with low lighting.
I don't think you need my help anymore, but the priv has a bad camera app
