Downgrading Mango (7712) to NoDo - Trophy General

Hey All,
I have had a good look round at downgrading my HTC 7 Trophy from mango to a previous version. Now, I have my backup, however being out of town at the moment I have no access to it.
I simply want to downgrade my Vodafone UK handset back to nodo, I am unsure of the difference between branded/unbranded. If unbranded means I do not keep vodafone changes like network settings, then i would like to keep branded if possible.
I have found a ROM, and can do the flashing process, im just unsure of what I exactly need, I do not want to mess this up!
These are the ROM's I plan to use if this checks out okay...

Phone versions are:
OS: 7.10.7712.60
Firmware Revision: 2250.09.12000.161
Hardware Revision: 0003
Radio Software Rev: 5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10U
Radio Hardware Rev: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader Ver: 1.20.2250.0(117833)
Chip SOC Ver: 2.2.5.0
Any help needed, in the meantime Ill go unbranded, and re-flash if branded is available etc.
Thanks,
Xirii

Firmware update?

Did anyone happen to get a firmware update with nodo? It seems like HTC and Samsung have gotten firmware updates with nodo except for LG.

Got mine 3 weeks or so ago? Regular push update. no unbranding needed.

On my unbranded set it is: 1.0.1.12
/J
Mine is 1.0.2.10
But I don't remember when I get it. My E900 was originally an Orange France branded, and I flashed with the Open-EU found here on XDA and then get the pre-NoDo just after the flash process. Some days after I got the NoDo with that Hungarian VPN trick and I guess the firmware update came at the same time.
I have an e900h (North America - Telus branded on Telus )
The only revision number on my phone that has changed since I got it at launch is the OS.
I've done all the updates through Telus (no walshing, hungary vpn etc).
Model: LG LG-E900h
OS: 7.0.7392.0
Firmware: 1.0.2.14
Hardware: 1.0.0.0
Radio SW: 1.0.2.14
Radio HW: 0.3.5.0
Bootloader: 1.5.0.0
Chip SOC: 0.30.2.0
It's likely that there are a couple of revisions of the phone around (aside from just the e900 vs e900h) and the open-eu build people have been flashing probably contains a specific version hence the varying reports.
xdapants
Here is everything the same except for the Firmware and Radio SW, both on 1.0.2.10
I guess it's because the "local tweaks" that differs from E900 to E900h. But just guessing...
A day after the first (pre-update, update) the nodo update showed up on zune, wouldn't appear on Microsoft connector for mac or the phone itself, at least not until it was plugged into zune that is.
Right now wheres mango!!!
OS: 7.0.7392.0
Firmware: 1.0.7.10
Hardware: 1.0.0.0
Radio SW: 1.0.7.10
Radio HW: 0.3.5.0

New update thurs what does it do?
Update 7.0.7392.0
Fix for fraudulent third-party digital certificates. This update includes a critical fix to an industry-wide issue with nine untrusted digital certificates that were issued by one root certificate authority. These third-party digital certificates are used to access popular websites and email portals. Although this is not a Microsoft security vulnerability, these untrusted certificates may be used to spoof content, perform phishing attacks, or perform man-in-the-middle attacks against all web browser users. This update moves the affected certificates to the "Untrusted Publishers" certificate store on Windows Phone, which helps ensure that these fraudulent certificates are not inadvertently used.

Trophy Firmware Update?

Hi,
I read that HTC rolled out an device specific update a short while ago.
My Version is:
Model: Trophy (unbranded)
OS: 7392 NoDo
FW: 2250.09.12000.401
Hardware Rev.: 0003
Radio: 5.54.09.21_22.33b50.10U
Radio HW: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader: 1.10.2250.6(114443)
Operator Vodafone Germany.
(It was originally a Vodafone branded model, which I unbranded with ansars rom from here)
I didn't get the Update yet. Or do I have already the latest one? Can the FW-Update be downloaded somwhere for manual install? And could someone who already got that update tell me the new FW/radio etc. versions?

[Q] Back to pre-NoDo

Hi all,
I'm quite new to all this, so I hope I'm not asking too dumb questions. I tried reading a whole lot of topics but there are things still not clear to me.
I bought a Trophy with a custom ROM on it (DFT, Mango), but I want it restored to its original version (pre NoDo). For starters I don't get the whole RSPL/HSPL thing, but I think I don't have to update that since my custom ROM already required 'replacing' (?) my bootloader. But for my convenience, if you have replaced it with a RSPL, will your phone replace only de bootloader with the previous bootloader or the ROM as well after a hard reset?
Anyway, if everything's o.k. with my bootloader then what ROM do I have to choose?
This my phone's info:
OS version : 7.10.7720.68.0
firmware revision number : 2250.21.40600.DFT
Hardware revision number : 0003
Radio software version : 5.51.09.06_22.30.50.09U
Radio hardware version : A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version : 1.10.2250.1(112663)
Chip SOC version : 2.2.5.0
PC40100 SS-BC (4K)
HSPL1.10.2250.1(112663)
Cotulla HSPL 0x09
TOUCH A1(v10,20)
I think my Trophy is unbranded but I don't know how I can tell for sure.
Thanks
Same here. I've bought htc Trophy (unbranded) with the DFT 7714 rom and I'd like to revert to the official path. I was searching and looking all over the place and I still don't know how to do it. Can you guys help?
OS version: 7714.WM7_Main(DFT).20110808-0114

Ask ansar in his unbranded Trophy ROM thread to upload a pre-nodo ROM. Download the ROM, upzip, run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow the instructions.
Flashing a pre-nodo ROM should replace the HSPL you both have, with the one that comes with the pre-nodo ROM.
Please note that if you are not sure if your phone is branded or unbranded flashing the wrong ROM can brick your phone!!!!
Second note, if you flash a ROM you lose all data on your phone. At the moment there is no way of backing up data such as text messages.

kindly help

First you need to install RSPL/HSPL and after flash rom!
so you mean, it is safe to do use. and i wont half brick my phone due to incompatibilty issues posted by other users about branded and non branded trophy

There is always a risk with HSPL/RSPL, as it is stated in the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
But if you follow the directions and READ carefully you should be ok, but no garantee though.
After you succesfully flashed HSPL/RSPL you should be able to flash any cooked Trophy ROM to your phone.
Without HSPL/RSPL you are only able to flash Vodafone DE branded Trophy ROMs.

Got 8773 but still no Internet Sharing

I have just received 8773 by using this guide (i.e. the Zune trick): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO0ZnoKXyqY
However I still don't get the Internet sharing on my phone.
- I am using an unbranded phone bought from Expansys in France.
- I am using a US windows live account, display interface is English.
- Running on Telenor network in Scandinavia - the operator says they don't block for internet sharing.
Here are all my version numbers:
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number: 2424.11.11.2
Hardware revision number: 3.15.0.4
Radio software version: 2424.11.9.1
Radio hardware version: 0.0.0.800
Bootloader version: 5.11.1.8
Chip SOC version: 0.36.2.0
What can be the problem and how can I solve it - should I modify some registry settings and if so, how can I do that?
Hoping for some expert advise (really getting tired of these update policies).
Anybody?
I have the same problem. You did not get Samsung OEM update yet. You need to do it manualy until it is officialy released, but the trick is, that you can't be 100% sure which one to take. By taking the wrong one, phone is bricked I guess.
I have downloaded :
oemupdate.cab.pks_3d7012e7afacdf6121a8013137aa23c7fd8ecc49
But then I was afraid to push it.
source : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1306415
I was having the same issue and I applied the cab update Booomy mentioned.
Worked like a charm.
the difference is that i have the Telus AU os version.
