hi hope someone can help me.
when i install android nand on my htc hd2 everthings fine i used many android roms but after a time sometimes my touchscreens get flipped of he press what he will and my touchscreen does not work right. is this a problem of andoird on htc or on my touchscreen?
for example i press a letter when i write an sms and he writes many others letters
i press b and my hadny does bbbiiiiddd like this maybe some1 know that problem

android doesn't have such a problem. if you encounter this problem in all different roms then your touchscreen may have problem.

+1 have also not witnessed a dodgy touch screen
mh ok but under winmob 6.5 i doesnt have such problems.. im really out with my dictionary how i can fix this....
your problem may be related to text prediction. try to disable text prediction from keyboard menu.
And/Or try cleaning your screen. yes, simple as that
mh but its not just in the text messages my complete phone get weird sometimes when i wana switch between the side etc..
btw i cleaned it all the times still same^^

I tried a few minutes ago to write an sms with the letter recognition fonction. I use to write all my sms with that with my Qtek S100 (I mate jam) and my HTC TRINITY. It use to work very well. I was able to write very fast.
However it completly unusable with the HTC TOUCH (ELf) and the DUAL (Niki). Even with the new Roms with drivers problems solved I can't manage to write well. It misses letters, do points instead of spaces.....
I fear to face that problem if I get a Diamond?

When I`m using the software keyboard with the stylus I can sometimes press several times til a letter comes...

probably due to any kind of 3rd party software installed on the phone, i do got the same problems, but it went a way after a hardresett, and came back after installing some software can't find of witch one it was, sorry
Now I use Touch-IT_Blackstone_Keyboard ...very good
i use the Touchpal Keyboard now, in my eyes much better then the HTC Toch HD Keyboard , you can find it here

I`m getting only little letters and it seems pretty complicated ....what must I do in order to can type with it ?
It strated with WVGA and then qwertz etc. ...
By the way:
On the hardware keyboard there is down left a key with aÜ but if it push it nothing happens ????
press u and then the key and you will get it

Hi guys, this Swype Keyboard is excellent. Only one issue, , in 3.9 version, when I press and hold, the numbers, symbols always not appear. Is there something I am doing wrong or is it a common problem. I can confirm that in version 2, this problem was not there. Please help.

I too am having trouble on the US HD2 in Swype with the tap & hold feature, was no problem on the TP2 version extracted from HD2
had same problem on us hd2 and with skype causing freezes, used the older extracted cab and its better
Should Swype be installed on the SD card or phone memory. Reason I am asking is because I installed it and it is really slow. Though I could improve from the orignal HD2 QWERTY which became slow after a ROM upgrade.

Mine is installed on the storage card and it works flawlessly.
Hello I have experienced some problem with keyboard during sms writing in landscape mode of keyboard. The space key sometimes cannot be pushed even if I put my finger exactly on this key.
Anyone to solve it? Thanks

Same here but its the backspace that is not working.
Problem fixes itself when you turn the phone or close keyboard.

Problems with backspace I have too but the most annoying is the broken spacebar.. Another problem is that during sms writing sometimes does not work optical joystick... It must be some problem with sms application because in the portrait mode this not happen..
I know that it can be solved by close and open the keyboard but I am really pissed off when this happen...

I recieved an answer they say i have to calibrate the keyboard again.
But this has not solved my problem....
I calibrated the keybord many times and the problem with spacebar occured within calibration... This is weird...

Hello everyone If u all are facing so many problems that were not rectified for some reason try touchpal .. Go to market find touchpal Install it and dont forget to use the update feature in the app before you start using it.. coz its the older version on the market...

Direct download ::::: COOTEK TOUCHPAL::::aul O'Brien States to turn off Chinese after install (I hv no idea why coz i m not using it and can not test it till after tomorrow) but do it he is one expert .

About time I see that everyone has the same problem as me, Alltel thinks I am crazy. I just got my phone about 30 days ago and I took it back and got a new Wildfire because I could hardly ever use the backspace. It drove me insane. I am so glad to know that it is just a glitch in the phone. I really hope they fix it.
